If you're not sure where to stay in Napa... stay here!! I've stayed at plenty of places in Napa -- from boutique hotels to large brand name hotels and you can tell immediately after walking in through the entrance of the Napa Winery Inn that it's different (in the best way possible) compared to the other hotels. For example, the people that work at this hotel and the customers enjoy it there and you can see it in their faces. Each space from the hallways, entrance area, all the way to your room is tidy and well kept. The parking lot is great too because there's lots of space to park and it's far enough away from the main road where you can't hear the noise from the cars. Will definitely stay here again!

Opening the door to the enlarged suite, I expected to be greeted as I have with countless of the cookie-cutter rooms. And for the reasonable price I didn't expect anything different. I was pleasantly surprised. The commodious bathroom, luxurious soaking tub, generous work desk, and separate sitting room gave me the chance to focus on work and separate myself from it to my sleeping quarters when done. I've spent more and gotten less, for certain. I'd recommend this hotel for any weary traveler.

I recently called the Napa Winery Inn to arrange a surprise engagement gift for our friends who were staying there, and the staff went above and beyond to help make it special! From the moment I explained what I wanted to do, they were incredibly kind, accommodating, and enthusiastic about helping us celebrate our friends' engagement—even from afar. It's clear they truly care about their guests and their experiences. Thank you to the amazing team for your exceptional service and thoughtfulness. We’re so grateful and will absolutely recommend Napa Winery Inn to anyone visiting the area!

We had an amazing experience at the Napa Winery Inn! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room was clean, cozy, and perfectly situated for a relaxed wine country escape. Breakfast was a great touch and added to the overall charm of the stay. A special shout-out to Randy, who was incredibly helpful and accommodating with our last-minute booking. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free, and his warm hospitality really set the tone for our visit. Thank you, Randy! Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Napa.

If you are staying in Napa, stay here. I've never seen such wonderful people. I called up to advise that its my wife's 50th birthday. They put a bottle of wine, and chocolate in the room for her. Taylor, who I spoke to, on her own, said she would go out and get my wife flowers, and I could just pay her when I arrived. Never had service like this before. Beyond that, the place is spotless. Rooms are nice, good breakfast. Whole staff is amazing. Don't waste your time researching other hotels. Stay here, you will love it. 5 stars is NOT enough. My wife had the best birthday ever, thank you all especially Taylor!

Stayed here for a girls trip and enjoyed the room and breakfast. Quick drive to downtown and was able to get pick up for the wine tour we took. Only downside side was nothing to walk too and not close food unless wanted a steak house. For the price was clean and comfortable would recommend to people.

Google
Overall this was a good hotel. The staff who welcomed us were very friendly and accommodating. The room on the first floor was a bit noisy but manageable. The room was spacious and had a large comfy bed, it was also nicely decorated and convenient to use except for the bathroom which had a shower without handle, no control over the water pressure and a curtain which was not easy to use as it spilled some water and triggered some hygienic questions. The hotel featured a pool and a hot tub. Both were available but did not have any towels in the area. The hot tub did not have any bubbles. There was an ice dispenser on the floor but there was no water dispenser although we could get some water from the breakfast area. The breakfast itself was not good although they position the rooms as breakfast included. They did not have any meat at all. The yogurt did not taste well. The peanut butter had hydrogenated vegetable oil in the contents. The only nice option was the waffles but it was difficult to find something not utterly artificial to put on top of the waffles. They had eggs which was probably the healthiest food option. The location is not central - you need a 10 min taxi or ride to go to the city center. Overall the breakfast experience left a bitter aftertaste, otherwise I would probably lean towards borderline 5 stars

Google
Let's start with the perks: ||+ Free breakfast (amazing waffles!)|+ Super convenient location|+ Kind staff|+ Spacious rooms||The main drawback to this hotel is its proximity to the freeway. For whatever reason, they didn't double pane their windows and any passing car OR motorcycle from the street is very loud when you're trying to sleep. Couple this with the super loud air conditioning unit near the bed, and we didn't get very restful nights sleep here. Despite the aforementioned positives--we would not stay here again just because of how loud our room was at night.

Yelp
Less than 15 minutes from downtown. Staff are friendly. We were able to check in early. Very clean. Room was a good size and modern. Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Quality/Quantity - Surprised and disappointed. Due to our travels, and last minute plan changes, we only spent one night here (less than 8 hours)... And the bed was too stiff for me and I had some slight back pains when I left. Plus a long drive to Paso Robles the following day as we were continuing our winery tour. My wife booked a non refundable room (otherwise we would have canceled). Major construction is happening - I guess the good news is that future guests will/should have a beautiful place to stay. The pool and hot tub was closed during the remodel. The room was of decent size. Had issues with the hot water and shampoo dispenser. Both were fixed when we got back to the room. The fridge turns on for only 2 hours at a time??? Slight inconvenience. As I like my wine and beer cold!! Or was it a user issue...? Continental hot breakfast. Having hot self made waffles was nice. 24 hour coffee, thanks. Atmosphere - See pictures. The lobby interior was nice. The exterior was under remodel. Pet friendly. Plenty of parking, even with all the construction. Service - Checked us in right away/early. Thank you. But also warned us that the only room was near the main road and could have been noisy. Well not as noisy as the team remodeling outside... Price - $173, expensive for what we got. But again, we were in Napa... Owner Comment - I am sure you will be so much nicer after finishing your remodel.

Yelp
wine-ing down for the night I stayed at this property overnight in May 2023 with my brother and sis-in-law. N O T E During our stay here in early May 2023, the lobby was under construction/renovation, and the "front desk" was temporarily relocate to a guest room on the 1st floor. Hopefully, the renovations have been completed by the time this review is (finally) written and posted. The parking lot is fairly spacious, and there was adequate signage directing guests to the temporary home of the front desk. The male staff member that assisted us was warm and welcoming, and gifted us a bottle of red wine when he discovered it was recently my brother's birthday. Our room had 2 queen beds, a small sitting area by the A/C unit, a decent size bathroom, and looked to be recently renovated. The beds were comfy, and the room met our needs for our overnight stay. The following morning, there were some breakfast offerings that we took advantage of; mainly fruits and small pastries. Very convenient to "grab and go". B O T T O M L I N E Overall, a decent one night stay a the Napa Winery Inn.

Yelp
We had a very nice stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, warm and inviting lobby, and clean comfortable rooms. I used the hot tub twice, the water was hot and the jets were strong, and the area was relatively clean. Though you could smell how strong the chlorine was, I felt it was a well maintained jacuzzi. The breakfast was exactly what you'd expect, but the hot Chocolate and Yogurt parfaits were a nice touch to make it seem special.

Yelp
How this place doesn't have higher ratings is beyond me!!! We checked in on a late Friday rainy night to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. Mariana was so friendly and gave us great suggestions for dinner since it was so late. She also gave us a bottle of wine to start our celebratory weekend. The room was so cute but most importantly it was clean! They really go the extra mile here! Every employee we came across was kind and greeted us with a warm smile. Mariana didn't let us go outside without an umbrella which I appreciated so much! Breakfast was basic-not too many options but what they had was of great quality. There was a little bit of construction but that just shows they care about improving their facilities for their guest. I highly recommend the Napa Winery Inn and we will definitely be back!

Yelp
I booked a stay through my credit card and it was really easy to check in and out. No additional charges at the property and no hidden fees, thank goodness. They do offer a continental breakfast and it's pretty standard - cereal, milk, fruits, bagels, etc. they also have a small dining space for you to eat your continental breakfast. Our room was spacious and clean enough, I guess? The bench and night stands were dirty. Almost as if they didn't wipe them down and that makes me wonder if they fully clean the rest of the room then... The TV had Netflix which was cool and the bathroom lighting was great. There was also shampoo, conditioner and body wash available in the shower. The bed was pretty firm and the pillows were terrible. They looked fluffy but after laying on them for 20 minutes they flattened out completely and you were basically laying on the mattress. Terrible. It made for a struggle to sleep at night. We were also on the first floor which I wouldn't recommend. The laundry/supply room were just down the hall so we heard everything in the morning. It got pretty loud. The inn is pretty central to everything. We drove to Yountville one day and Sonoma the other. It's also not too far from downtown Napa. If you're looking for a cheaper and decent stay then this Inn is a great choice!

Yelp
Needed a place for 2 nights that allowed dogs and was reasonably priced. Napa Winery Inn definitely met and even exceeded my expectations at times. The rooms were spacious and modern. The free breakfast was solid. The staff was friendly and helpful during check in and check out. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to a friend.

Yelp
Great place to stay at, clean, good looking, conveniently located and everyone is very friendly and nice also as a plus, it's dog friendly. We visit Napa about once a year and this is our new favorite place to stay. We'll be coming back soon!

Yelp
I really wanted to love this hotel, considering how great the price was. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. It's currently undergoing construction on the first floor, and that construction can be quite loud during the day. As far as I know, all the guest rooms have finished their construction already. You can't use the lobby entrance and you have to enter the pool from the exterior of the building. Other than that, the current construction shouldn't affect you too much. staying here. The positives to this hotel are the price, the super quick check in process and the free breakfast. The check in process took me less than two minutes. The free breakfast isn't anything amazing but there is a large selection of food. You have oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, cereal, apples, bananas, orange juice, milk, coffee, tea, and probably other things I'm forgetting. Most of the negatives are about the building itself. It's an older building that has recently been renovated on the inside. The guest rooms themselves look nice overall until you really start looking at things. Even though the rooms themselves have new amenities, they are starting to get dinged up a little bit from guests. Also, you can tell that the renovations were done very quick and cheap. I noticed in my room that the window does not shut flush in a window frame. The window has a small gap which let in outside noise, air, moisture, and probably bugs. See attached photo. Also, in my particular room, the hot water knob for the sink was not attached properly, so it could be completely moved around on the sink as you will see in the attached video. Around the windows, you can see where the worker cut the drywall in a completely crooked line. It's very obvious, and in another spot you can see where it was obviously patched up and not done well. In another photo, you can see where the smoke detector was left in place while they scraped the old popcorn ceiling off but now that the smoke detector is not flush to the ceiling you can see the old popcorn ceiling underneath. These are just things you wouldn't see in a high-end hotel after a renovation. Are most of these things going to bother you? That's up to you. Since we're talking about the general construction of the building, I will mention one thing that's not from the renovation workers. Since the building is old, you will most likely hear your neighbors above you as they walk about their room. I could hear my upstairs neighbor, every time they took a step. Every single time. I could also hear the neighbors through the walls sometimes. The housekeeping is an issue as well. They ask you when you check in if you would like housekeeping. I said yes. They told me then that the housekeeper only comes in every other day. I checked in on Tuesday which meant that I was due for a cleaning on Thursday. When I got back into my room around 3PM the housekeeper has still not been in. I called to double check that they were coming and they said they should be there shortly. By the time they showed up, I just asked for fresh towels and for the trash to be emptied. As you can imagine tiny hotel trash cans get filled up quite quickly over three days. Also, the towels definitely needed changing at that point. It seems like a cost cutting measure from the hotel. It may not bother you, but it bothered me. Here is a strange thing that I wasn't going to mention at first. I'm not saying that the hotel is haunted because I have no proof of this but if you told me it is I'd believe you. We went to bed one night and had the latch on the door so nobody can enter. Ever since night one I had a weird feeling from one corner of the room that is darker than the other portion of the room due to the color of the walls. It's the portion with the couch in it. I just kept getting this feeling of don't look in that corner because there's something there. This one night in particular I'm speaking about the room was completely secured and I heard footsteps right next to the bed, walking into that corner of the room. I knew that nobody could be in the room other than myself and my girlfriend yet there were footsteps in the room walking into that dark portion. I've never heard anything about it being haunted or anything like that, so maybe it was just a dream that I was half awake for. I don't know but I thought it was an interesting story to throw into my review.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. Their customer services on point and better than most of the hotels I've stayed at around the world. Evelin was so helpful and friendly. The customer service she provided was above and beyond my expectations. She was so welcoming and friendly. Asking me about my trip and where I came from. She made me feel very welcomed and I appreciate that more than you could ever know. Keep up the good work Evelin, you're a true professional.

Yelp
Here on personal business. Friendly 24 hr front desk. February stay. Low $100 range for one night. Newly remodeled modern barn decor with a West Elm vibe. Adequately clean. Allows pets. Elevators to 2nd and 3rd floors. Interior halls : no exterior doorways to rooms. Windows are single paned. So if you are a light sleeper request rooms on the residential or interior side. The traffic sirens and large big rigs are very audible. Location is near the main road and near a freeway area. Rooms on the freeway side are louder. Rooms away are quieter. The hotel was not full so we were not bothered by neighbors' noise minus the ice machine a few times. Snack area near the check in desk. Apples , hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, orange juice, coffee, Bananas , cold cereal and milk yogurt, lemon ice water dispenser a basket with hot chocolate packets, tea, etc. Breakfast is continental. As with all hotels after Covid shut down housekeeping isn't up and running to speed yet. Not as detailed . A lot of the older citizens are staffing hotel maid service. If hotels were to simply purchase reading glasses for older staff this will likely up the quality of detailed cleaning. Either that or pay better health insurance including eye insurance. Upholstered items and rugs not pristine clean but good. Bed was clean. Not a fan of feather or down pillows with large feathers that you can feel through the pillowcases ; High end goose feather pillows need very high thread count coverings ( like ridiculously high end as in Yves Delorme) and extra layers so feathers are unfelt by the sleeping clients. It's probably why so many hotels forego the feathers except on throw pillows. Bathroom is clean with classy Bigelow brand shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in fashionable and eco friendly dispensers attached to the subway style white tiles in the shower walls. Overall would recommend over a lot of other options Safe somewhat residential area. Ample parking. As usual I have trouble sleeping in a hotel... so view my review from the point of view of a person who is a light sleeper to begin with. There is a steak house behind this hotel. Il postal trattoria is very close as well, although not walking distance. Drive about 400 meters and over the freeway. We had a car so we can't review walking distances on this trip Pets allowed but not to be left in rooms alone ( kind of like small children right) It's a budget hotel. But during high season this place can be pricey ! It is however better than a motel 6 and cleaner than some B and B's and most budget hotel motels downtown that are more expensive but quite run down ( as in black grout) and can be much noisier if inebriated wine tasting tourists are just outside off of Main Street. This hotel is nice for under $250 max. I recommend this hotel. Be aware of what to expect and you will be fine.

Yelp
This is the hotel you want to be at if you are planning to not do anything except sleep at the hotel & want to spend your whole day at the wineries. There's no room service, no exercise room, and the pool is shut down during maintenance. If you want to.. let's say.. read outside in the nice weather day, you can't do that either because the paint they're spraying will get on you. I'm giving this place 4 stars still because there is a continental breakfast, the rooms are very beautifully renovated, the interior of the hotel is rather stunning, and they're giving us a refund for the second night as we decided to leave early because of underwhelming amenities. I appreciate them being accommodating when they know its circumstances aren't ideal.
google avatar

Derek C.

Yelp
What a shi*t hole! The rooms are ok but they are next to several busy roads and you can hear cars all night. Super noisy early in the AM. They are also renovating and put us right next to the room being renovated. There's plenty of empty room. This place is trash. The people who work here are trash. The pool looks like a swamp. Nasty!!!!

Olde T.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. super friendly and helpful staff. great location with a delicious continental breakfast, Margarita always kept breakfast area clean and very attentive for people needed help. rooms super clean, comfortable beds. My family and i have stay at this hotel for the last 8 years once or twice a year, and NEVER go wrong :] Thank you Shandy and Graciela for keeping this hotel nice and welcoming.

Yelp
This is not the Archer downtown, but it's a very clean, lower budget no-nonsense option...perfect for a couple of nights without breaking the bank. The hotel is located off the main road 1-2 blocks from where the highway ends. Thankfully, it had no road noise...and actually very quiet. It doesn't feel like you are in "wine country", but it is what it is. A small amount of *free* breakfast items is served, mostly from Costco -- danishes, bagels, muffins, and they also have ready-made waffles, toast, bananas, apples, etc. Coffee and tea, too. It's basic, but fresh. I found the staff very nice, housekeeping and front desk. A special "shout out" to one of the nicest, friendliest, warm, and smiley person -- Jeffrey. He is over-the-top outstanding!

Yelp
This stay was part of our 30th anniversary trip. The check in was easy. The room we had was great. This hotel was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. We needed wine glasses and the front desk kindly had real glassware available for guests. (that was definitely a plus as we really didn't want to use plastic cups : / ) This hotel says it has breakfast but we were slightly disappointed. Just cereal, bagels, frozen waffles....we were looking for some freshly cooked items (bacon, sausage etc) but it was sufficient. Conveniently located. We would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
If given an opportunity to do a do-over, this is where I would start. The hotel is clean but limited on employees, if you need anything like bottled water or towels, the person that works the front desk will have to bring it to you and they would do so when they can leave the front. We only booked this hotel because my girlfriend wanted to take a jacuzzi, however we learned upon checking in that the jacuzzi was out of service...so there goes that. I mean they said the water was hot but no bubbles, also the pool is not heated. They do not provide room service during your stay, we were there 4 days and never did they clean the room, nothing so even your trash will pile up unless you empty it yourself. They said we should have been told at check in but we were not informed. We ran out of toilet paper, body wash and shampoo and when we requested it we were informed that they had no one to bring it to us. An hour later someone knocked at our door, they forgot some of what we requested but we made it work. The only reason for the 2 stars is there was a gentleman in the morning that was always smiling and made good conversation. Also its location was good.

Yelp
It's a cute inn, however we experience many bumps during our two night stay. Within an hour of arriving. The toilet starts to flood and water starts pouring all over the bathroom floor and inside our room, resulting in our belongings getting wet. Only one employee is working per night shift. They ask if we can sleep there for the night and we say no because the floors are covered in toilet water and we are unable to use the bathroom. So we can handed a pile of towels. We ask for another room. However they are sold out. By some miracle they manage to find a spare room at midnight. So we can sleep for the night. At 2am we are sound asleep and an employee barges into our room. No door knock. No phone call. No announcement of who they are. They basically OPEN our door and walk in. Of course we have no idea what's going on. A room with three women get woken up by a male employee at 2am. Of course we thought someone was breaking in so we start to scream. The employee runs off. We call the front desk and the employee tells us he apologizes he didn't know the room was occupied. Wtf! During the shift change they didn't relay the information. So we go back to sleep. Once again 9am rolls around and we are trying to catch up on sleep since employees want to walk in our rooms as we sleep and they ask who we are. Multiple times we have to explain what happened. We then go out and return to find our keys dont work. We have to go to the front desk where there is a different employee who didn't know we had our room switched. Once again we have to explain our story. On our day of departure we find additional charges for the hotel room. I wouldn't stay here again.

Yelp
This place was fine--it seemed clean in the room but rundown in public areas. The breakfast selection wasn't anything special--some dry cereal, bananas, etc. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the linens were clean. Our room had a weird backed up sewage smell. We could hear a lot of freeway noise and it's not walking distance to much of anything. The parking lot seemed safe. It was not cheap, but it was significantly cheaper than other options.

CC M.

Yelp
I loved staying at this cute boutique hotel. Room was nicely appointed, service was great, it didn't break the bank, and location was less than 10 minutes to downtown restaurants and nearby shopping. Would definitely recommend.

Cameron S.

Yelp
Should warn their guest that construction was going on. Also the girl working the night shift on 3/4 gave the DoorDash person our room number...like what if this person was demented... Found someone's hair in the towels, bed was not comfy at all, and the pillows are flatter than a piece of paper.

Yelp
This hotel is not fancy but it's clean, safe, relatively affordable and located right next to St. Helena Hwy. Check in was fast and convenient, staff were friendly and gave helpful advices. The king room was fairy standard and the furnishings relatively new. There was Keurig and mini-fridge, but no microwave (in lobby) nor safety box. Pillows were big, fluffy and comfy, mattress was probably medium soft and comfy as well. Bathroom sink had plenty of counter space, shower was hot and had good pressure. The AC worked, noise level was tolerable at low mode. The mini swimming pool was open but the whirlpool was closed. No RSVP required on a slow day and we relished the pool on a baking hot Napa afternoon. Parking was abundant and safe, there was a Brazilian steak house next door. You are 10 min from downtown Napa (15 min if you are new to rotaries), Yountville and its famed restaurants are less than 10 min away. If you just want a clean, safe and comfy place to crash this is it. You can easily spend more for wine tasting in a fancy winery.

Sarah P.

Yelp
Nice place. Could be a little cleaner. Staff was helpful. Continental breakfast was ok. Bed was decent. Hot tub was nice. Overall it's worth the price and would come back.

Yelp
Maid stold my credit card, & I left 4 messages for manager and no response. While hotel was nice, I do not appreciate the lack of response. Do not leave any personal belongings in a drawer. Put in safe!

Yelp
For the first time in Napa, I would suggest this hotel to anyone. Super nice rooms, the staff at the front desk was very helpful. My room was so nice I wanted it to extend my stay. Lol My only problem was the breakfast it could be a little better. Other than that, I love it. Definitely will be staying here every time I come to Napa.

Yelp
Close to family. Need more hooks in bathroom and one more charging station by other side of bed.

Yelp
Stayed for 2 nights for a trip to Napa that was centered around a dinner at The French Laundry. Hotel is well-located and easy to find right off the highway. The front desk women were very friendly throughout our stay. Room was sparsely decorated, but was functional, modern, and clean. Bedding was very comfortable and the individual a/c unit in the room worked well. We did not avail ourselves of the complimentary breakfast or the pool. Would recommend if all that is needed is a place to crash and you do not need the amenities of a full service 4 or 5 star hotel.

Yelp
Such a quaint and simple stay with no worries as soon as we arrived :)) Thanks for the experience

Yelp
Excellent customer service, rooms are clean, nice breakfast. Really have nothing to complain about

Yelp
Don't be mislead; this place is NOT pet friendly. When you attempt to check in they shove a "contract" in your face that they make you sign saying you will not leave your pet in the room. They don't mention what the consequence is if you do, but I can only imagine. Nowhere is this mentioned on the website or any other place. We were forced to bring our dog with us in 100*+ heat instead of her being able to chill in the room as we planned. As I learned, there are 800 other hotels in the Napa valley. Book somewhere else.
google avatar

Linn K.

Yelp
Dont be misled, this lackluster place is an off exit commercial strip hotel anywhere else in the country. A very disappointing property compared to much better options in the region being far from any beautiful Napa areas. Very misleading advertising, and management is extremely poor and unresponsive to customer needs. Bordering on usury given personal experience trying to get a lawful refund from this place, even within an hour of making a reservation. Highly recommend passing for say, a downtown B&B
google avatar

Yelp
Update - We had to wait 2 days before we could speak to the manager (Randy). He was not very receptive to our issue, and in fact implied that I was not telling the truth (even though I brought it in a plastic bag to the night clerk). We did receive some reluctant compensation which was only fair. I was going to make this a 3 star review, but I added another one just because of Jeffrey at the front desk. This is a guy that takes pride in his job and knows how to make guests feel taken care of. I cannot say enough good things about him. His co-worker Gina was also great. Overall, the place was OK and had been remodeled a bit. A nice little restaurant (Fume') is in walking distance and a steakhouse is right next door. Thanks to Jeffrey, I can recommend The Napa Winery Inn.

Yelp
Booked the wrong city on Priceline. Called Priceline to have them refund the reservation. Priceline got in touch with the hotel to cancel and was told that there wasn't a manager on staff for 24 hours and to "stay tuned" for an answer on a refund. Never got one. Called the hotel personally. Asked to speak to a manager and the girl was not friendly. Said she was transferring me to the manager and hung up on me. I called right back. A man answered the phone immediately saying he was the manager. I told him my issue , that I couldn't follow through with the reservation bc I booked the wrong area... he kept asking me if I would possibly ever be in the Napa area to change the dates or to offer a discounted room for "next time". I expressed that as much as I would love to be in Napa any time, I wasn't able to do so and to see if they could at least offer me a discounted refunded so I didn't end up paying for a whole night for a room I couldn't stay at. He was unwilling to help me with more than $50 back off of a $200 plus reservation... And even kept saying that there was a 48 hour cancellation policy. I expressed to him a few times that I booked third party and never saw such a cancellation policy, and that Priceline even tried to contact them today and they said that there was no manager around for another whole 24 hours not about this 48 hour cancellation policy... We went round and round, and he was unwilling to help and so I promised him this "excellent" review for his help.

Yelp
I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could, my partner and I are so grateful to the excellent staff at Napa Winery Inn! We came to them after a hellish experience at The Hilton Garden Inn two blocks away (bug infested rooms, bike thieves, incompetent management, this place was awful) and when we told them what happened they did everything they could to turn our terrible day around. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, upgraded our room to a suite, stored our remaining bike safely and helped us do our laundry for free. I nearly cried, their kindness saved our trip to Napa. We will absolutely be back, Napa Winery Inn has just secured two life long customers.

Yelp
Perfect location‼ Just off the highway. Close to downtown Napa ( about 10 minutes). Also 15 miles (20 minutes) to St. Helena where all the Tasting Rooms are. Stayed at Napa Winery Inn twice and will again.

Yelp
The girl who helped me yesterday evening and this morning with the dark hair. I think she'd Latina. I love her. I'd go back. Great customer service. Restaurant next door for convenience. The best tv selection! Hallmark TV, Showtime, etc

Yelp
I would give 0 if I could. Let me start by saying the room was clean. And we weren't at the hotel very much to begin with, however. Something was spilled on our bed by accident, and when I call to have the sheets change they were unable to accommodate. Listen I can understand if you are so swamp, OR! The room cost 100$ but we paid 600$ for our room and you are telling me you can't get someone to c hangs our sheets? No I'm not being a brat. I ended up changing them myself. However I traveled for work and stay in all types of hotels, and for the price I paid the front desk should have been accommodating. I will not be staying here again.

Yelp
Stayed here over the Labor Day weekend with friends. Pros: -complimentary wine reception at 5:30 in the lobby -complimentary bottle of wine at check-in -if you ask the front desk, they have wine tasting coupons for local wineries Cons: -room wasn't ready at check-in time -whirlpool/hot tub needed cleaning (bugs and leaves) -no umbrellas in the pool area for shade -room/beds are rather small/ could be slightly cleaner Obviously not a five-star hotel but good value for being in Napa. 3.5

Yelp
Had a great experience here! Stayed for one night in Napa but it was perfect in terms of price being reasonable and its location. Right off the main highway and a short drive to downtown Napa and Yountville. The staff was warm, personal, and very friendly! Check in was a breeze and I really enjoyed the "coziness" of this hotel. There's a swimming pool, jacuzzi, breakfast in the mornings, and an evening wine hour with snacks that come with your stay. Rooms were spacious, the air conditioning was cold, TV was great, bed was comfortable, and the bathrooms were just fine. I looked at many hotels in the area for a night or two stay that wouldn't break the bank considering the area, and this one met our needs. Thank you for having us, we will return again if we're ever in the area!

Yelp
To lay it all out there, Napa Valley is an expensive place to stay. Napa Winery Inn is probably one of the more reasonable priced hotels but I think it depends on the time of year you go. The pros: - large rooms - strong AC - free parking - free internet - close to the freeway - friendly staff, easy to get a hold of on the phone - free wine/snack hour from 530-630pm - free continental breakfast daily (don't expect gourmet food but edible) The cons: - thin walls and doors (you can hear everything down the hallway and if you are close to the lobby, you can hear people hanging out for happy hour/breakfast) - baby crib is really a pack and play with terrible cushion - outdated decor, bathroom needs some work - pool area is barren: pool needs a makeover, need more umbrellas and lounge chairs, pool needs to be heated - overpriced during the summer months/peak wedding season (we paid $377 per night with a discount) - no views of vineyards It could be a good deal if you stay here off peak (I've seen deals advertised for $99 per night) but I didn't think it was worth over $300.

Yelp
For $375/night over a holiday weekend, it was still cheaper than many of the other places we looked at (avg $600/night). In general, you get what you pay for in the area. The hotel was okay except for quite a number of quirks: Pros: - Renovated rooms look like the photos - Beds are firm and not too worn (I prefer firm to soft beds) - Nice sheets - Hot tub is actually hot, but the jets are weak. The first room we stayed in (216) was super spacious, but weirdly the key lock was tricky so not all the keys worked and those that did would take a second to open the door. The AC unit was also super old and very loud so we couldn't keep it on at night since the room was oddly hot despite being only 50 degrees at night. Because of this, we kept the window open, but then you can hear the street noises like the crosswalk beeping and conversations late at night. The next day at 9:30am, we asked to switch rooms to the other side of the hotel, thinking all AC units were the same. The front desk agreed and we were set to re-check in after our tastings for the day around 5pm. However, they must have not given the notice to the night shift guy (Dylan) who just gave me the most confused and blank face and simply said they were fully booked. Luckily the AC unit in our new room was newer and quieter so we didn't have to keep the window open, but disappointed from their lack of professionalism here. Also just odd quirks: - Included continental breakfast is very lackluster. Just plain bagels, 3 types of cereal, yogurt (that they didn't restock by the time we arrived), and muffins. Coffee is decent though. - Big wooden window blinds don't keep the light out at all if you're sensitive to light. - We had 4 people and 2 queen beds, yet both rooms only included 3 body towels, one face towel, and one small wash towel.

Yelp
Absolute bare minimum of a hotel, with a pretentious rate given it's in Napa. Requested early check in and rooms close to each other. Totally get it that early check-in didn't work out, but was told the rooms were next to each other. Then, when we arrived, they are on two different floors on other ends of the building. Sorted it out, but spent :15 discussing with the frustrated no-eye-contact front desk. Keys don't work, property is old and dated, one of the lobby bathrooms broken, "business center" is a swap-meet dump of computer parts from 1987 and staff is begrudgingly helpful. On the positive side, good location mid-Napa and the pool was refreshing if small. Photos show a fire pit, which is ok, but basically in a walkway to the parking lot. Not bad, but definitely not good.

Yelp
Rooms are nicely renovated and have a modern, clean barn-like decor. The best pro for me is that it was well located. However, for the price of this hotel, the experience was disappointing. We came during president's day weekend so we paid the price of a 4 star hotel. "Breakfast" was especially disappointing. The continental breakfast consists of the poorest quality bread, bagels and pastries (picture gas-station bought pastries). Fruit consisted of either apples or an orange. Coffee and tea provided were decent. Be advised that there is NO HOUSEKEEPING for the rooms. We weren't told this upon booking and like many inns and hotels we expected to come back from a long day to a fixed room and bathroom. Our towels were still wet and we ran out of soap so I had to go downstairs to ask for more - which is not a huge deal but I wish they would have communicated that prior to booking. In terms of staff, Georgina (or Regina) was delightful and gave us the best recommendations for wineries and things to do around Napa.

Yelp
Wanted to find a nice place to stay in Napa without breaking the budget and through a bunch of research, my wife and I decided on this place. It's not super cheap, but also not too expensive. The accommodations were very nice, lots of space in our room and I felt safe at this property. The sheets, bed, furniture and bathroom were all very clean. The toiletries and accessories such as iron and coffee maker are good quality; like that of a large chain such as Hilton or Marriott. The front desk staff was very friendly, and as others have mentioned, there's a free bottle of wine upon check-in. I didn't try the wine, as I'm sure it's not the greatest quality, but hey, whatever, it was free. The morning breakfast was good as well if you're traveling with kids or on a budget. I tried a few items, but I didn't want to spoil my appetite since we were going to a proper brunch.

Yelp
This place looks nice and has nice furniture. They have a mini fridge as well. Our problem with staying here was when we checked, the guys wouldn't get up to help us at first and wouldn't really talk to us or look at us, and he kept asking us for the same things over and over again. He just didn't seem to know what he was doing and took awhile. The worst part was this place wasn't very clean. There were hairs and dirt all over the floor, sink, shower and walls. The toilet had leftover remanence from other people (they definitely didn't wipe or clean it. There was also a bandaid in the shower. If they cleaned the place it would've been nice. They didn't even fully vacuum, there was random trash on the floor. The beds are also pretty hard but that it wasn't a big deal. Also if they put you on the third floor hopefully it's nowhere near the ice machine because people will be using using at all times of the night and it's super loud and will wake you. The aesthetic is great, but the cleaning crew needs some help!

Yelp
We paid an insane amount for this rundown hotel room. It's in a good location, close to several wineries, but that's the only thing going for it. It took us several tries with our room card to unlock the door. The room is spacious enough with basic amenities, but it was not that well maintained. While picking up something I dropped, I noticed an old juice bottle below the TV stand, a sign of how well the rooms are cleaned. The bathroom was old, and the showerhead was feebly spraying water in all directions. The inn provided free breakfast, but it was not at all on par with the price we paid. On offer were generic, store-bought mini-muffins, croissants, and bagels, eggs, cereal, and yogurt. While the variety was good, the quality of whatever we tried was terrible. The coffee was weak and bitter. I wish they could've sourced some of this from some of the lovely local bakeries. All in all, a budget hotel with an out-of-budget price.

Yelp
Just returned from staying here on a Thursday nite. Gracious in checking us in 30 min early. Room was clean and newish w working mini refrigerator and usual central heat/ac but also window one too. There was an outdoor pool that was clean as was the jacuzzi that was warm and working and open until 10pm. A popular Brazilian Buffet was across the parking lot. The breakfast next day had pre made waffles, toaster for bread/bagels and cereal and nothing hot except for coffee/water. Staff was hospitable in helping us out when one of our family got sick that changed some of our plans. We would plan on returning again
