Narayana Homestay

I like supporting locals and the family who runs this place is kind and sweet. The rooms are clean but as often the case in Indonesia the piping in the toilets gave off a bad smell. This is a 2 min walk to the beach which made it very convenient. I was looking for someone's review on their breakfast and no one wrote about it so here it is: it's basic. You can get eggs scrambled or fried with a few pieces of bread and cut fruit, Bali coffee /tea. Or nasi goreng or pancakes. It's the typical local breakfasts. The second day I just opted to skip it and to out for a protein shake. My biggest concern was the wifi. It was spotty and barely worked on most nights. They also offer scotter rental for very reasonable prices which is convenient. This homestay is decent value for money

Great spot in Amed, and has a private, friendly feel. Used the pool every morning, had the freshly prepared breakfast, rented their bike and enjoyed 5 nights at Narayana - highly recommend. Putu and the staff are genuinely nice, and I'd come back for sure.

We stayed at Naraya Stay House for 4 nights, and from the moment we arrived, we truly felt like we were home. This place is more than just a homestay – it’s our family in Amed. And Putu is like our Balinese mother – warm, kind, and always making sure we’re comfortable and happy. The rooms are very clean and well-kept, the pool area is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, and the entire family is genuinely caring and welcoming. You can feel the love and effort they put into everything they do. The business is growing slowly and steadily, and we’re sure they will keep making it better and better with time. We’re so grateful for the experience and the connection we’ve built here. If we ever return to Amed – and we hope we will – we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything!

My partner and I had a great stay here. There are no mosquitos inside, a cute mosquito net over the bed in case any get in, and strong AC. The pool and breakfast were great. Service was also amazing. The location is pretty great too; not on the main street but also close to good restaurants. Try the Thai place nearby; it was delicious.

A very charming, comfortable and quiet place to stay in Amed. We had a nice, large and very clean room with a super comfortable bed. Excellent air conditioning and hot water. Putu and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. They took very good care of us. They also serve food and drinks onsite. Our room was right beside the pool. The homestay is well maintained. I also LOVED how quiet and peaceful it was. Far enough away from the sounds of traffic and other activities on the streets. I really appreciated the comfort, kindness and quality of this place. Looking forward to coming back again next time! 5 stars!!!

This place gets all the details right. The rooms are spacious, the bed is very comfortable and has well thought out storage ( it makes a big difference). The room has a super cosy feel. The outside area consists of a pool surrounded by beautiful plants and sun lounges. The restaurant is also poolside serving food and drinks all day. The family is genuinely very nice and is happy to arrange anything for you. They also rent motorbikes at have a laundry service. Simply amazing 👏

The family is amazing! The location is pretty good, I don't ride a motorbike so for me it was a bit far from main places. The AC in the room works very good. The room was very clean and big enough. Very good value for the price.

I stayed at Narayana Homestay for 4 nights and I loved the place and the whole family. The rooms are very tidy and clean, the pool is quite and relaxing and the family is absolutely lovely and caring! If I ever return to Amed I will definitely stay at this place! Thanks for everything!
