The Toddy Lunas was a refreshing surprise, light and aromatic with a subtle boozy kick that felt both local and playful. It’s not overpowering that making it perfect. I love the Espresso Bailey Tiramisu which has a tense espresso flavour, creamy texture and just enough Bailey’s to elevate it without turning it overly sweet. The Matcha Latte was decent with a smooth finish but not too diluted or overly milky. The eclectic interior adds character into the cafe, making it an ideal spot to unwind or catch up with friends, definitely not for kids.

Beautiful interior. Rustic concrete decor. Well designed with plenty of usable seating Friendly staff. Comfortable air con and forest psytrance music. 4/5 Colombia/Brazil(Dark Roast): Hot Americano, Chocolate and slight acid notes. Smooth, but tastes more like a “Medium” roast. 4/5 Kaluea Tiramisu . It was good tiramisu. Airy and Creamy, but it had “Zero” alcohol taste. Plus the portion was “hella” small. Very Disappointed. A must-visit café if you’re in Penang! The place has such a chill vibe — great music, comfy seating, and a beautifully artsy interior. The open bar setup adds a nice touch, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The drinks are delicious, and the menu itself is really creative and fun to browse through. Definitely try their tiramisu — it’s soft, not too sweet, and absolutely delightful. Perfect spot to relax, sip a good coffee, and soak in the cozy atmosphere. Narrow Marrow Café is a charming little spot tucked away from the main streets, perfect for a relaxing coffee break or catching up with friends. The interior has a cozy, minimalist vibe with warm lighting and comfortable seating, making it a great place to unwind or work for a few hours. Their coffee is rich and aromatic, and I especially loved their Dirty Chai it’s taste cinnamon . The tiramisu espresso kahlua is my favorite! Service was friendly and attentive, even during busy hours. It’s a small café, so it can get crowded during weekends, but it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. A hidden gem for anyone looking for quality coffee and a peaceful atmosphere.

I’ve been to Narrow Marrow countless times over the years, and it remains one of my favourite cafés ever. Their tiramisu is still the best in Malaysia—hands down. The texture is perfectly balanced, creamy yet light, with just the right amount of coffee and alcohol. Every bite feels like perfection, and it’s consistently amazing every single visit. The atmosphere here is cozy and unique, with a warm, artistic vibe that makes it the perfect place to chill, catch up with friends or enjoy some quiet time. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and their coffee is great too—smooth, aromatic and well made. If you’re a dessert lover or just someone who appreciates quality café experiences, Narrow Marrow is a must-visit. Always worth the trip, and it never disappoints. Highly recommended!

Must visit cafe in Penang. Even the place small but Good for place, food and atmosphere. Even though the cafe hasn’t opened yet, there’s already a queue. I try tiramisu, not sweat and soft (must try) And my drink hojicha latte creamy but not sweat.

Narrow Marrow is a whole different experience at night. The atmosphere is incredible—dimmed lighting and raw industrial decor that gives off serious post-apocalyptic/cyberpunk vibes. It’s the perfect spot to just hang out and soak in the atmosphere. As for the menu: Coffee: Really solid. You can tell they take their beans seriously. Nutmeg Soda: A must-try! It’s super refreshing and something unique to Penang. Tiramisu: We ordered a slice and it was lovely—creamy and rich without being too heavy. If you are looking for a place with character that isn't your typical cafe, this is it.

I love it here! It was good in everything with coffees and tiramisu and cookies and cocktails and highballs! I’m so glad that I found this cafe and bar in Penang and even very close from Bangkok where I live now. I will definitely comeback to this place! Recommended!
