We do an annual family and friends group rafting/float trip and have been going to Landers for probably a decade now, we love it there! I always recommend it to people, great campgrounds with all the facilities you would need. They have shuttle busses for rafting and the main landing point is right on the campground. Plus hard to beat the views. Go, you won't be disappointed!

DO NOT CAMP! LANDERS IS A DANGEROUS MESS! I stayed at Landers Narrowsburg campground last weekend and it was an absolute disaster. While I fully expected some partying and loud campers, I could never imagine the disaster that unfolded. I was solo camping and the entire campground was sold out. Every single site was filled the brim with people. This is a party campground. Campers come to shoot off fireworks, blast music, and fight/break things until the sun comes up without repercussions. It was as if every site was trying to out do the other with how obnoxious and loud they could be. The campground had sent a list of "rules" when I reserved my site. They did not enforce a single one. When I called the office to ask for help with my neighboring sites, I got the answering machine. You are completely on your own here, and it feels like lord of the Flies. But, don't take it from me.. listen to what the owner had to say.. The next morning I stopped at the main office and spoke to the manager for a refund. I explained while sleeping is not guaranteed while camping, Landers broke every single rule they said I must obey. The owner happened to be within earshot and he took my paperwork. He agreed to a refund. While the manager was processing this, the owner turns to me and says.. " Just so YOU know... You should have booked during the week if you wanted to sleep. These people have been coming here for 40 years, I am not going to tell them to keep quiet". Yes, that's right, the owner told me it was MY fault for booking when I did, and that loyal customers are the priority. Honestly, I was shocked. Landers runs several campsites around the area and I am sure they are all as lawless and dangerous as this one. If you still decide to make a reservation after reading this, thinking this was a fluke and won't happen to you, I advise you keep the phone number for the police handy, don't worry, Landers gives it to you in your "rules" sheet since the police are the only ones who can help you. DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS.

Campground has a great layout and atmosphere for the last few years that I've been here. There are different groups of people that always seem to be friendly. There are different sections of camping spots, some with access to the river down the backside of the campsite and others across the lawn in a more quiet area, as well as the wooded section which itself does appear to be more quiet and dark towards the night hours. I will highly suggest if you visit during/around the weekends of the 4th of July that you bring ear plugs and/or don't expect to sleep without issue. This past year we had fireworks going off into the early hours of the morning and I believe they were eventually told to leave the campground. I would have liked to see a lot more push from the management as these were two groups shooting off fireworks well past midnight and dangerously close to the ground as well as over the water while people were floating by. Strongly advise visiting outside of the 4th of July window for best experience. The rafting trip is great as well, floating down the river for 3-4 hours is a nice way to spend a day and relax with slow moving current that is safe.

If you like spending your vacation at a campground that has no rules this is the place for you. The worst experience camping I’ve ever had. People were riding dirt bikes, music from a large speaker played 24 hours and there was no effort from any staff to get things under control. Fire works went off all night till 5 am. Bathrooms were closed temporarily for no explained reason and they are in terrible condition. I’ve been to Landers many times but this was a new low for the facility. We won’t be back

I recently visited the campgrounds with my friends and family for the Labor Day weekend and I had the most amazing time. Our area was clean and I was surprised the bugs were not a problem for me. My only complaint is the showers need to be updated. I must say to the readers, if you plan on having a quiet time, it’s not happening people. Please be mindful, this is camping where people stay up late, listen to music, gather around the campfire, watch the stars and so on. My suggestion is when making reservations, ask the person you are speaking with to put you in a quiet area. Can’t wait to go back next year!!!!

This will be the third year in a row my group of friends and I travel down to Narrowsburg Campgrounds. The layout is pretty neat and we've never had an issue checking in, setting up our tents and having a good time. It does get noisy at night sometimes but nothing that's overbearing.

Had a great time! FYI there is a great nearby store for all your essentials needs. (6 Old County Rd, Cochecton) They have amazing service too, and they're open late.

We have been to Skinners Fall many times but may never return. We go for a family outing to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Last year we had a problem with fireworks going off nonstop scaring the the kids and the dogs This year we went for memorial day weekend. We arrived Friday night and the sites close to the railroad were over packed. About 20 tents on each of the sites. They had music blasting til 7am! Security said they would handle it on Saturday but it was a repeat of the night before. When they finally stopped the next group started up. I’m all for hearing music but the need to share with the Whole campsite is ridiculous. We packed up, took a hit on what we payed (not cheap) and left. The bathrooms were filthy and the cleaning pulled up and vomited on the lawn. There is no enforcement of the rules. It’s a free for all! It’s a shame that you will lose families just to make your money in big groups. I hope it’s worth it

Yelp
Great spot for our annual binge-drinkin-in-the-woods juggalo convention. last year some bozos down the trail thought they were #1 in the trailer park so we had to roast a hog roaster & fire javelin missiles into the air to let 'em know: if you ain't first, your last. Five stars, would recommend.

Yelp
What can I say about these camping grounds! They rent out everything possible, you are literally right next to your neighbors, all sharing the same dirty bathroom! A few sites offer electricity & water "HUGE PLUS!" (Bring Lots Of Extension Cords) Everything is dirty that's camping! People light fireworks, Play loud music all night, Laughter & ever noise possible, you will hear everything & I mean everything. If you are looking for quiet camping "this ain't it". There is a mini store on premises, that offers ice, hot food, junk food etc..... The camp grounds are located next to everything(Supermarket, Pizzerias, Liquor store etc...) I had a dope time, I am always down for a all night party! Taking Showers at 3 in the morning (Bring Flip Flops Mold Everywhere)! Building camp fires, talking sh*t & cooling out all night w/ a red cup in 1 hand & my wifey in the other. I enjoyed myself more then I thought I would.

Yelp
I would give it no stars if I could. Horrific camping experience! The worst campsite I've ever been to! This is from a seasoned camper. We were told we needed to book 3 nights as it was a holiday weekend. We were also told that we needed two sites because we had 10 individuals. So we booked two sites for three nights. The first night was a disaster. We had dueling music from three different campsites adjacent to ours. My poor husband got no sleep that night. What really pushed us over the edge was the lack of consideration from the guests on your campsite. The campsite behind us started singing mariachi music at 3 AM. We flag down one of your employees in the truck and explain to him our dissatisfaction with the condition of the campgrounds, along with the noise levels, and we were told that he was only one guy and couldn't handle the amount of complaints. Shame on you management! We rescheduled our river trip to Sunday. Packed up our camp and headed out. Guess what we found on Sunday when we landed in Narrowsburg? Two RV's on the two campsites we reserved. So - we cannot get a refund for those two nights - but is was OK to rent them out to someone else! BAD BUSINESS. But why should they care? Their employees are not nice. The middle aged woman in the Narrowsburg office was rude and plain nasty. I don't know how she could speak to guests the way she does. I guess you have to be nasty when you have people complaining about the lack of supervision. We also paid for two electric sites. Pretty disheartening to see no electrical sites lit up by extension Cords run to electrical they didn't pay for. The sites behind and next to us had 15+ people PER SITE. I will never be visiting your campground again. Thank you for ruining my family vacation.

Yelp
no stars are deserved beca this was the worst camping experience I have ever had. My husband and I wanted a relaxing camping weekend, but instead we were smack dab in the middle of an All night all weekend party. Each site was extremely over capacity, with dueling spanish music playing all night long. We left after the first night because of the loud music, the lack of any type of quiet hours and that the workers were aware of what the weekend was about and didn't have the ethic responsibility to let interested campers known what to expect. I will never come back here or recommend it toy coming network.

Yelp
This is a different type of campground. Been coming since I was a kid and I love it! It's not for a quiet retreat in the woods. It's like Lollapalooza, or as my country boy husband called it after his first stay, Chachapalooza! Always has been. Hispanics like to party all night and I'm glad to see they can. It's typical South and Latin American partying and I love it! I hate to see people complain. It's just a different type of camping. My only complain is how the woman in the office treated my husband. He's very respectful and will not cause problems. But this lady talked down to him and was annoyed with him for asking link up questions for the River trip.

Yelp
Landers Narrowsburg is a special place that I have been coming to every summer for the past 20 years & will hopefully continue for 20 more. My wife & I even got married there! Each year we look forward to leaving our worries behind to catch up with old friends over drinks around a late night campfire, singing, dancing & playing games (sometimes until the sun comes up) and this is the perfect place to do just that as they can easily accommodate any size group.

Yelp
They have a party campground with no quiet hours! Great for non-families! I have been coming here for four years and i'm sure we will be coming for years to come. Not many campgrounds allow late nights. We are allowed to play music, beer pong, flip cup, have fun, and not get in trouble. If you want to go camping and have fun with friends, cme here!! They have one bathroom area with 3 showers- not luxurious- just a place to wash off and get back to having fun... Grab some friends, drinks, food, and your tent and come here... Rafting leaves right from here too!

Yelp
I don't even want to put any more brain power into writing a review about this place, because this was the worst camping experience I've ever had. So I'll just make a list. Dogs without leashes wandering the campground, urinating on our coolers, tent, picnic table, fire pit (that we had to build by looking for rocks because one wasn't provided.) They were even inside of the bathrooms. Zero security. The clientele here have no respect for anyone around them, and management doesn't care. Groups of 40+ people on two campsites, parking their cars on other peoples sites. There were probably about 8-10 parties of this going on. Extension chords were run through our campsite by these massive groups of people to power their PA systems to blast music all day and night. Not next to, not close to, giant orange power cables, in our campsite, for them to steal electric from what seems to be an outdoor, out of commission band shell type thing. Music blasting all night. Two guys came in a van and asked them to lower it. Once the "security" left, it was right back to where it was. People were disgustingly drunk, running around and thru other campsites. Security no where to be found. Two young women were camping behind us. Two obliterated men sat in their chairs around their fire and refused to leave. These poor women were SCREAMING for help. SCREAMING for a minimum of 15 minutes. There was nothing my fellow campers and I could do except call security, that never came, because they don't answer, because the office people leave at 8pm. There is no way 4 people would be able to reason with 40 drunken, reckless people who thought that was perfectly fine behavior in modern society. Then there was a fight. Once again, on our campsite. We were in the middle of two what seemed like, dueling gangs, so obviously they would meet in the middle to fight, which happened to be our site. Surprise surprise, no security. We packed up and left at 12:45am. We booked a (required) 3 night stay because it was a holiday weekend. We stayed one night. As we were packing up our stuff a concerned mother of 3 asked us if she should leave too, because she was uncomfortable and concerned for the safety of her children. We packed in a hurry and left before she made her decision. We had to leave before an inevitable stabbing happened on our campsite. This place is thee worst place if you think you're going to be camping or enjoying anything relaxing. 24 hours of being on high alert because we didn't know if our things would be stolen, broken, burned down, or be caught in the middle of a fight, was the exact opposite of relaxing. I would write more but I don't want to think about this place for another second. You've been warned. DO NOT GO HERE.

Yelp
Quite disappointed with our recent trip to Bob Lander's Narrowsburg campground. My friends and I have been coming for years and have made great memories here. Not sure what has happened recently but it has gone downhill significantly. There are absolutely no rules enforced whatsoever. Fireworks and loud music blasting until 2/3 am, possibly even later. Unfortunately, the campground was packed to capacity and it felt like a festival, not the peaceful camping experience one desires when they escape the city. Considering the current pandemic, we were quite surprised they allowed this place to be occupied with the amount of people that they did. Cars and RVs packed onto sites overflowing onto neighboring sites, bathrooms so disgusting they were not usable, some without soap. We witnessed other campers throwing trash on the ground and alongside the beautiful river. They seem to have thrown all rules out the window and have given up trying to keep this a peaceful environment. Such a shame since the location and views are so special. We will be finding a new place to camp for our next trip.

Yelp
This has been the worst camping experience of my life. Here with friends - 4 adults and 7 children between us. There are huge gatherings blasting music on DJ speakers - it's midnight now, and there is no sign of the music ending anytime soon. Fireworks going off until 11pm. No one reachable at the main office, no "quiet hours". Really disappointing. I know why kittatinny and Indian head were booked, yet Lander's had openings. Absolutely abhorrent campground.

Yelp
What can I say... my first time at this campsite and I had an amazing time. Our area was full with campers, children playing and dogs running around free. We stayed up late around the fire, watching the stars and listening to music. The Skinners Fall was 10 minutes and we went rafting. My only complaint was the showers need to be updated. Readers be mindful, this is a campground not a nursing home. If you want peace and quiet, let them know when making reservations so they can put you in a quiet area. I loved the time I spend there with friends and family and can't wait to go back!!!!

Yelp
Canoe with a hole, refunded at the end after having to stop numerous times to get rid of water inside in addition to a scare of being in the middle of nowhere stuck. You could just walk in the middle of the Delaware river with really strong currents easily capable of throwing a middle aged unfit female off her feet, said "said manager Gail". With wet phone and car keys from the backpack which was under water in a canoe full of water until our friend realized canoe had a problem. When we turned it over there was a black leaking patch in the middle of a bumped bottom. So we finally made it back to the end of the river trip and were told to complain to Gail "the manager". We did. Got a refund for just one person, and there were 4 of us who all had to stop 9 times to help flip the canoe, sat with her on the shore deciding on what to do. Because phones don't work, assistance isn't available and where would you leave the canoe even if we somehow managed to maybe get a lift from other people on bigger boats. No guarantee though! She could just walk across the river told us Gail. What sounds like a super dangerous solution to us came out of her mouth without a blink of an eye, oh yeah we signed waivers guaranteeing we wouldn't sue in case of death or paralysis. Resume: rude and indifferent Gail who is probably used to an arguing youth at the camp, who talks over you, isn't ready for any constructive suggestions like if you charge $50 to rent a canoe for half a day you should not need to give customers crappy patched up ones. And if you do then be capable of taking constructive criticism since they are ones who may die or get paralysed as a result of your negligence. To the business owner. You will lose customers because of Gail, she needs to be replaced by someone with compassion and common sense. Guys who give you kayaks must inspect them for damage prior to letting people use them. And don't be greedy, buy new ones instead of putting patches in them.
