NARS Cosmetics Boutique Prince Street

EDIT: Joy, the Senior Manager, reached out to me and offered to facilitate the exchange for the right color. She handled the situation with grace and superb service. I am happy with the outcome with this situation and would shop here again. Do not come here to get color matched! If the store associates color match you incorrectly (and you do not live in NYC), corporate NARS cannot facilitate a return or exchange. I came in on Thanksgiving and quickly purchased the Natural Radiant and Longwear foundations in Patagonia, based on color information available on the website. After trying on the foundation that night, I realized it was too dark on me. That is my mistake. I went in the next day to get color matched and exchange my foundation for the right color. I did get color matched by an associate, but the color match was wrong! She used a very thin layer and therefore was very difficult to see the differences. I went home to Philadelphia, only to find that the new foundation was too light! NARS— train your damn store associates to correctly color match by applying a “normal” amount of foundation to see if the medium-high coverage is the right color! I called corporate to see if I could exchange for the right color but they cannot help as they only facilitate online orders (even though I purchased from a NARS store?? What company doesn’t have omnichannel capabilities these days??). Terrible service. Terrible outcome. Now I’m stuck with foundation that isn’t the right color for me. So disappointed after years of using NARS products. I will never purchase directly from them again. NARS— do better.

Phenomenal hospitality at this location! Tiffany was very helpful and knowledgeable about both skincare and makeup application. She matched my skin tone with a foundation shade perfectly, and taught me how to apply the new sheer Matt foundation using the nars foundation brush.

Incredible client event! Jasmine and the entire staff were incredible for booking, revisions and most importantly makeup. We had 9 people during the span of about 3 hours, all who had very different looks and everyone left thrilled with their makeup. I highly recommend!!!

I stop by sometimes at this store for advice on skincare and makeup and their makeup artist Weronika is just my favorite one! She would always recommend the best matches for your skin and foundation ! She is super caring and attentive like you barely expect from people in NYC!! Impeccable service! I love her ! Ask for her, she is the best!

I love this quaint little boutique in the heart of Soho. It's beautiful and the staff there is friendly and helpful. If you are a makeup girl, NARS stands out from MAC or Sephora. When you go for concealers or foundations, they apply things with their hands rather than a q-tip or sponge. It's a nice personal touch, different from other makeup manufacturers. When you go in ask for Andie, he's the absolute best.

Always love coming to stock up my kit. The staff is always very warm and bubbly and extremely helpful.
