"NASCAR's most famous racetrack might be in Daytona, but its home is Charlotte; after all, many of the classic racers hailed from the hills surrounding the city. Attached to the Charlotte Convention Center, the NASCAR Hall of Fame is a 86,500-square-foot, bold swoop of a building that recalls the shape of a racetrack. Considered more than a museum, this entertainment facility is a high-tech venue that's impressive even for non-NASCAR fans. Everything, just like the sport, is oversized and fast, from an interactive card that creates a driver identity for you, to the "Glory Road" parade of displayed cars from famous drivers, to the gift shop, which has more square footage than many of the downtown restaurants within walking distance of this museum." - Nancy DePalma

10/10! Everyone had a great time! We were traveling cross country with a camper. If you have a larger vehicle that will not fit in a parking garage, I highly recommend you call NASCAR and they will help get you right into a parking lot. This was educational, interactive and the staff were so kind. They are willing to answer any questions. You will also appreciate the cafe on site. It’s typical cafe food. Everyone’s favorite activity was racing in the simulators. You get to practice in the qualifying room before hitting the race track. Fun for all ages! Highly recommend

I enjoy the history more than the current state of nascar. Loved the older cars as well as the trophy exhibit. The front room with the banked wall is great for panoramic photos. There is a lot to do and a lot of information here. I just did a casual walk through but there is tons of stuff to do. I did not pay for the simulators but they sure looked fun. Hopefully I can get back to Charlotte again and will definitely make it a point to come back.

This museum is a must for anyone. There is lots of history to learn and amazing facts about a sport that is very popular. So much to learn from each exhibit, amazing memorabilia, and a simulator ride as well. So awesome!! Watching the evolution of this sport was so interesting. If you are a hard core fan, give yourself extra time to go through as you may want to look at all items and listen to the full video playing in the hall of fame.

I checked out the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte. The building is impressive and the layout makes it easy to explore. There’s a lot to see—historic race cars, detailed exhibits, and a racing simulator that looked pretty fun. It was a bit crowded but everything was well-managed. Even if you’re not a huge NASCAR fan, it’s an interesting and well-done museum that’s worth visiting.

It’s a place for any nascar fan to witness. Had some cool information about the races and how nascar first started and simulators for you to try if you buy the package deal and it’s worth it. And also memorabilia from different drivers and the staff was very friendly. It was my first time and I had a ball. If you go to the hall of fame bring plenty of money to do the package deals for simulators and in the gear shop because they have so many cool things to buy.🏁🏎👍

An amazing museum with lots and lots of vehicles. As soon as we entered, we came to a hall full of vehicles with an example of part of the track. We entered a huge cinema hall and saw a film that explains the entire history of this industry, which turns out to be a crazy sport. There are lots and lots of attractive activities, from changing a wheel on a race car to measuring your time. There is a racing simulator where you get into a race car and it was one of the craziest and most fun things I've done. I was able to understand how high the drivers must be, especially at high speed. Highly recommended with children.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte is an absolute treat, especially for car and racing fans. The visit kicks off with an exciting short video about NASCAR heats that really gets your adrenaline pumping. As you walk through the museum, you’ll see an incredible lineup of race cars spanning decades — from vintage classics to today’s high-tech machines. The displays do a great job showcasing the evolution of engines, safety features, and racing technology. There are also jerseys, medals, and memorabilia from legendary drivers, adding a personal and nostalgic touch. One of the coolest moments was seeing our photo and name pop up on the giant LED screen inside — a fun and interactive surprise. The best part of the visit, hands down, was the real-time racing simulator — it truly makes you feel like you’re in the middle of a NASCAR race. It’s fast, immersive, and gives you a serious adrenaline rush. With so many exhibits to see, plan to spend at least two hours to take it all in. Overall, it’s a fun, well-designed experience that blends history, speed, and excitement perfectly.
