deli am Naschmarkt

We went for a snack and a drink in the afternoon. Although the place was half empty the staff moved slowly and definitely without any intention to be polite or friendly. However when it was time to pay they reminded me to leave a tip. Quality of food I suppose it was acceptable (I had a salmon wrap what could be wrong?) however overpriced.

The meals were rather average. The lamb wasn’t good at all. The chicken wrap was nice but the sides were rather average. They could also use a better wine for their spritzer. The staff were friendly but not attentive, for example, we didn’t know they had a meals of the day menu which seemed nice and could have saved us €20.

I like this restaurant. The food is fresh and tasty. Everyone is friendly and atmosphere is positive.

We stopped here for lunch before continuing our tour through the city, and ordered grilled salmon, lamb skewers, and beef schnitzel. The lamb was quite tender, and there was no trace of the lamb odour (my mom hates the smell and was fine eating this dish). The crust of the schnitzel wasn't very crispy, but the meat was okay. The rice side dish is actually surprisingly good (high praise from an Asian family). We were overall quite happy with the experience.

It was one of best Mediterranean cuisine! We ordered vegan breakfast and feta cheese grilled, overall was perfect especially the homemade feta cheese, hummus and soft bread😍 The service was friendly also Strongly recommend people looking for somewhere to eat passed by market!

Great Mediterranean and Turkish food. We ordered hummus and the Mediterranean vegetables plate. Both were great and pretty light/healthy, which is what we were craving. The aperol spritzes were well made and use Prosecco. Atmosphere and outdoor seating were phenomenal!

I have given this place multiple opportunities, but the food is definitely not its highlight. The drinks are okay, and the service tends to be quite helpful and friendly, which is always super nice in Vienna. The atmosphere is cool, and I love the DJ there; they play cool songs.

Very youthful, lifey place. Loud music (dj), friendly service. On friday or saturday evening You should have a reservation to get free table!!! It is very easy on-line. The restroom is not too attractive, only for emergency!! 🫣🤭 The meal were fresh, but a little bit flavour free. 4 pcs of main course, 1 beer + 3 limonade = 81 € (It was the cheapest dinner during the 3 days in the city 👍) We have liked it. Who don't need conventions, will like this place too.

Ate here twice during our stay in Vienna. Once for a late dinner and once for an early breakfast. Both meals were excellent. Recommended

The other night I met a couple of friends here for drinks and dinner, and I'm a fan! With friendly service, refreshing drinks, and tasty fare, how could I not be?

The Naschmarkt has many places where you feel you may be getting a bit ripped off. This is not one of them, offering solid Austrian food at a good value, friendly service, and a great environment to have a drink on the patio. Offers breakfast well into the afternoon. The one thing to note is that it is in no way a "deli"...

Well what to say except, fantastic! Friendly staff, very good food with large portions, great ambiance, quick service etc, etc... I had the English breakfast which consisted of three fried eggs atop a bed of bacon with 2 large pieces of farmers bread and home-made strawberry jam. It was incredibly good. Especially the jam, simply wonderful. Places like Deli make eating out in Vienna an absolute pleasure. 5 stars!

Had our first meal in Vienna here! We were wandering about Nashmarkt and my husband convinced me to sit and have a meal (I wanted to keep wandering!). We sat ourselves inside, and we were staring at the menus in German for a while trying to decipher the words to order something for breakfast. The friendly waitress stopped by and offered us English menus which was super helpful! I had the Viennese breakfast that came with a croissant, a roll, and a softly boiled egg with a small glass of freshly squeezed juice and a giant glass of hot chocolate! It was perfect. The homemade jam was an awesome touch, and our food came out insanely quickly. We were able to use their WiFi, and got some time to rest our feet while waiting for our room to be ready. The bathrooms were also clean and it looked/felt like we were dining with locals!

Naschmarkt Deli is centrally located in the Naschmarkt, so it is naturally great for people watching. The drinks were relatively cheap, food was great (keep an eye out for the lunch special, changes daily), and atmosphere was solid. People of all ages during the day. A young, after work crowd rolls in around 5, with a DJ playing until at least 12.

The naschmarkt is a great market to wonder around taste some fresh food and has lots of nice bars & restaurants. We choose to have an easy breakfast at 'naschmarkt deli' and we ordere bio-yoghurt with muesli. It was nice and as expected. Would recommend this place!

Great little restraunt or bistro/café. Don't know what to call it. But me and my friend got to enjoy a so delicious late breakfast over there. We both got the breakfast menu "ham and eggs" with an included selfmade carrot-aple-orange juice which was so goooood! Although the place was really small, the atmosphere was really enjoyable. Love to go back there (:

Great place for breakfast,lunch and dinner. Located in the heart of Naschmart, selection of lunch changes daily.Evening are great for people watching with Dj playing pretty late. They do except credit cards.

Awesome food! Food came really fast and was absolutly delicious. Not too expensive and the plates have enough food. Could have a bigger menu for beers on tap. Great place!

At first glance the menu seemed almost overwhelmingly good. i couldn't decide what to pick, but after some serious thinking i went for some kind of mediterranean falafel dish:D it consisted of grilled vegetables (that were kind of fad and flavorless to be honest), a yogurt-dip and hummus aside. however the falafel itself was good! concerning the ambiance, which was great on a warm summer evening: the place was actually really nice, although it was pretty loud (because of the dj line up that starts at like 5:30 pm). i think this deli is a good place for breakfast and brunch with friends or drinks in the evening, but my visit there was more of an unsuccessful attempt.

Went here this morning for breakfast. Both my boyfriend and I had the summer breakfast. I also had a melange that was delicious. The complimentary juice was also very very good. The muesli wasn't really classic muesli as it was basically a little granola and lots of yogurt on top, but was still very good. The jam was also good and the soft boiled egg was a nice end to the meal. Overall was a solid breakfast in naschmarkt!

Came here for brunch my first morning in Vienna. The service was a bit slow but I also have a benchmark of NYC restaurants! Ordered the Vienna breakfast and was pleasantly surprised especially of the way the egg came out! Generally, the food was good and the seating outside was comfortable. Would definitely recommend for tourists if looking for a place to have a traditional breakfast.

as I already said in other posts, I am totally in Love with the scenery on naschmarkt, and Deli is just one of the places there which are the reason why. food is really good and the ambience is just open, trendy, full of cool people, its crowded most of the time, so if you wanna have a silent spot, you should not pick this place as your first choice. Prices are average for this area, but here you get what you pay for. Service is nice and quick and especially the bagles are really good.

Great place for brunch. Better during week but still awesome any day.

The Naschmarkt Deli is a fine place for Saturday Brunch, which is the only meal I've ever had there. Good bagels and eggs, fine coffee, nice atmosphere. The DJ can get a little loud, but its fine if you are outside. The people watching of tourists as they walk by is tops too :)

Very enjoyable eating here I think it is definitely nicer in warmer weather. Food is great and service can be a bit spotty but overall is decent.
