Nashville Barrel Company Distillery and Whiskey Bar

On a whim, we took our friends from out of town for a wine/bourbon/chocolate tasting. Our host, Matt, was low-key, helpful and generous. The chocolates were nicely paired with our various drinks, and we all enjoyed our time and had fun taking photos. Afterward, we relaxed in the lounge. What a great experience! Definitely recommended!

You are making accusations about my behavior that are untrue. I am not bashing anyone, nor did I attempt to pressure anyone, we simply finished our drink and left. It's unfortunate you are not service oriented and don't want to create raving fans, rather responding in defense with no desire to resolve a potential issue. Sometimes we have to "own" a situation and attempt to learn and grow from it. You take my review as an attack rather than an attempt to turn an experience around and create something better. My experience is my own and it's evident that it truly doesn't matter to you or the company. Best of luck to you all. ++++ Super disappointed. Stopped in as a precursor to our larger group coming in Nashville. Super cool vibe, ordered a flight and let them choose suggestions based upon my pallet. Selections were good but I wanted to try one of their "barrel your own" selections. Found one that was amazing and wanted to grab a couple of bottle plus a couple of other selections. They have a promo with $10 off a bottle if you had it in a flight. I didn't have one of the specific pours for one of the bottles I wanted so I asked if I could still get the $10 off my bottles. Who I assume is one of the managers said no. I respect that but his comments turned me off so much that I chose to buy nothing but the flight. I get it, we all need to stay in business but when you tell me you can't take $10 off a $500 purchase due to the "cameras watching us" and you're afraid of losing your job if you don't "follow the rules", frankly I don't support that. Either empower your employees to make good decisions or find different people. Not often am I so turned off but the whiskey culture is about fellowship and sharing. I can afford the $10, just tell me no but don't give me the excuses. Won't be back and won't be bringing our larger group, will take it somewhere that appreciates the people that support them.

Place has one of the biggest varieties I have seen in terms of whiskey. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, they offer tours and tasting experiences. Some seem very appealing. Wish I could have had more time to book one. Recommend it for a good drink!

Great selection of straight from the barrel tasting plus being able to bottle your own! A lot of choices of spirits, kinda overwhelming but the guys are good at explaining things. They do store barrels in there so it does have a light rickhouse aroma.

Stopped by to try the slushie flight which was good but not my favorite. If you like them strong, you’ll like them. The atmosphere was fun and it had a cute store. Great place to come with friends or to kill some time and relax. Will definitely be back to try the straight liquors.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was electric! Our guide, the incredible Xavier, was absolutely awesome! He didn't just walk us through a tour; he treated us to a fascinating, rich history lesson that was part Tennessee lore and part masterclass in the art of whiskey! He was so knowledgeable yet totally down to earth, making the whole learning experience a ton of fun. But the real showstopper? The whiskey tasting! 🤤 It was pure liquid gold! We got to sample five distinct whiskeys, and each one was a unique explosion of flavor and character. Seriously, every sip was better than the last! Bottom line: You HAVE to put this on your bucket list! If you want history, hospitality, and some of the best whiskey tasting of your life, the Uncle Nearest Distillery is where it's at! Go see Xavier—you won't regret it!

You cannot go wrong with visiting Nashville Barrel Company! We have now been to both locations and it does not disappoint!!!! The atmosphere and staff are beyond amazing.
