Nashville International Airport (BNA) was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The airport is clean, modern, and incredibly easy to navigate, with clear signage and friendly staff ready to help. Security lines moved quickly, and there were plenty of great dining and shopping options—including local Nashville favorites that gave it a true Music City vibe. The terminals were spacious with ample seating and charging stations, and everything felt well-organized and efficient. One of the smoothest and most enjoyable airport experiences I’ve had—definitely a five-star operation!

Customs and staff here are always friendly and communicative to visitors. From checking in my luggage to going through security, I was able to find my gate hassle-free without guidance. Despite the crowds, the washrooms and hallways are kept clean and tidy for the most part. The gate I seated at also had outlets for charging my phone and other devices. Overall, I'd be happy to arrive/depart at this airport in the future!

Google
BNA is an easy navigated airport. It’s relatively small compared to EWR / JFK. When we arrived, the walk to baggage claim was short and easy to follow the signs. Baggage came out quickly. Right by baggage claim, there are signs for Taxi/Uber/Rental. The rental is attached to the airport. Short walk as well. 2 levels labeled with different companies. At our departure, we did online Check-in and bag drop off. Then head to security. We have CLEAR so they prompted us to the front of the line after face scan. No separated line for CLEAR. That day the regular was pretty long. Be prepared if you are traveling through BNA. After carry one check, there are restaurants, shopping and many seats available. Only Delta Sky lounge no other airlines lounges. Overall a pretty good airport.

Google
I have to give it a high score, security was easy and well staffed and layout. Lots of food and drinks available, many stores of all kinds. Lots to see and walk. A gates were older and nothing like the rest of this modern airport. I found it convenient to navigate and plenty of choices on how to occupy your free time. Easy to find taxi once arrived. No complaints. Ate too much Hattie b was too full for voodoo doughnuts or shake shack shake. Great airport overall

A great airport: TSA agents were friendly and helpful and best of all their screening process was quick and efficient. Clean airport with good food options. 5-7 min walk to rental car center. Easy airport to navigate.

It has been an honor and privilege to see BNA grow up over the last 10 years!! The tsa pre is amazing and quick. The parking lots are good. The next exits are hit or miss with traffic. But once inside the food and drink options are great and definitely feel like Nashville. Get to your flights early and enjoy. Great Southwest hub!!! Nashville International Airport (BNA) is the primary gateway to Music City, located about 7–9 miles east of downtown Nashville. Serving over 23 million travelers in the 2024 fiscal year, it has grown into one of the country’s fastest‑expanding airports . Terminal & Layout 🛫 BNA features a single terminal building with five concourses—A, B, C, D, and T—and a satellite C concourse reachable via shuttle . The terminal spans four levels: Level 1 for transportation and car rentals, Level 2 for arrivals and baggage claim, Level 3 for departures and security, and Level 4 with lounges and eateries . Security checkpoints are divided into north and south entrances post-renovation, aligning with major carriers to streamline flow . Expansions & Modernization Under the transformative “BNA Vision” completed in early 2024, the airport added a spacious grand lobby with an “airwave” roof canopy, a new 6‑gate International Arrivals Facility (IAF) with cutting‑edge CBP areas, a Hilton-branded on-site hotel, and a satellite concourse by October 2023 . Now under the ongoing $1.5 billion “New Horizon” project, Concourse D is being expanded to 11 gates by mid‑2025, and Concourse A will be rebuilt; upgrades include baggage systems and roadway enhancements, with completion anticipated in 2029 . Airlines & Routes BNA hosts around 22 airlines and serves approximately 100 nonstop destinations across North America and Europe. Notably, 2025 brings new transatlantic flights to Iceland and Ireland, with direct routes beginning to Reykjavik and Dublin . Amenities & Passenger Experience BNA delivers a robust range of amenities: live music on six performance stages, extensive dining options highlighting local flavors (e.g., Hattie’s Hot Chicken, Yazoo Brewery, Ole Red), massage bars, nail salons, meditation and nursing rooms, pet relief zones, and lounges including Delta Sky Club, Admirals Club, and Minute Suites . Free Wi‑Fi and charging stations are ubiquitously available . The concessions program, managed by Fraport USA, promotes 143 ,000 ft² of local-focused dining and retail, with over 45 % by local businesses . Parking & Ground Transport Parking options include covered garages at $30/day, surface lots (~$20), valet services, plus shuttles and ride-share pick-up zones. A cell-phone waiting lot and public transit buses add convenience options . Accolades & Cultural Appeal BNA ranks consistently among the top U.S. airports; USA Today readers rated it the #2 large airport in America, praising its shopping, dining, and vibrant, music-centric atmosphere . The passenger-friendly design, art installations, and authentic musical touchpoints firmly embed Nashville’s identity into the travel experience. In summary, BNA perfectly balances significant scale with cultural charm—offering modern infrastructure, impressive amenities, and rich local flavor, securing its emergence as both a functional airport and a destination in itself.

Smooth Experience at BNA – Especially for Al Hilal Fans Traveling for FIFA Club World Cup! I traveled through Nashville International Airport (BNA) to attend Al Hilal’s match during the FIFA Club World Cup, and I must say—this airport left a great impression on me. It’s modern, clean, and well-organized, with a welcoming vibe that reflects the spirit of Nashville. What really stood out was the variety of shopping and dining options throughout the terminals. Whether you’re in the mood for local Southern bites or looking for last-minute souvenirs, you’ll find everything you need. The atmosphere is relaxed, and even with the match-day crowd, it never felt chaotic. My flight was slightly delayed, but during the wait, I discovered something very unique: the Travelers Post Smoking Lounge — the only indoor smoking lounge inside the airport. Access costs around $10, and it was worth it for anyone who smokes and wants a comfortable space to relax. The staff member at the cashier, AJ, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. It made the experience even better. Overall, Nashville Airport was a great part of my travel journey — convenient, comfortable, and full of character. Whether you're a sports fan like me, or just passing through, this airport makes your time on the ground enjoyable.

Google
Best US airport that I've visited. Very clean and modern. We had an early morning flight and were surprised a lot of stores open. Security check went smoothly.

Yelp
Cute and colorful airport with lots of awareness that you are entering into the Country City. Guitars all over, musical instruments as decor, it's a fun experience when coming out of your gate and seeing all the terminal has to offer. Quick and expedited service through security but the most appealing of it all? It has lots of souvenir shops, Tennessee's most famous whiskey items for purchase, Hattie B's and many other food options in case you didn't get a chance to get your comfort food crave in while in town. Clean bathrooms and gates.

Yelp
The Nashville TSA team is outstanding. So excellent, so kind, rocket fast. BNA is under construction so while the cell phone waiting lot is way too far away, hopefully they'll get it right in the end. The smart departures upstairs and arrivals downstairs design helps Nashville's airport shine. So far inside they're making all the right moves, the terminal is one of the best in the country. Almost every trip, you'll get live music as a fun surprise. You are so Nashville, BNA.

Yelp
Before the renovations at BNA, there was a shuttle from the terminal to the rental car center. It is an extremely long walk. With more than one piece of lightweight luggage, it's not meant for people who have multiple pieces or heavy single luggage items. In inclement weather it is a miserable experience. We haven't flown to BNA again for that reason. On our last three trips we could not locate a skycap or anyone to assist us with taking our luggage to the rental car center. Elimination of this shuttle is a MAJOR flaw in the redesign of the BNA airport. BNA's website describes the airport as accessible but that doesn't apply when trying to get your bags from the terminal to the rental car center.

Yelp
Landed in D Gate. Walked to C Gate about 10 mins. Plenty of cool eateries and bars. Large airport that has lots of natural light. Bathrooms arent clean and very out dated charging stations with many not working and uncomfortable chairs.
google avatar

Sandy B.

Yelp
I love BNA. Lots of wide walkways. Spreadsheet out places to sit with ample plug-ins; that actually work. Love the restaurant choices and live music everywhere you turn. But I do have a complaint. The bathrooms. They're nicely decorated, high tech. Lots of space between the stalls and the sinks. So why can't you set the doors up to open outward?!? Even the new bathrooms that are opening are being done this way. I appreciate that they are deeper than most. So at least there is less chance of our suitcases touching the toilet. (Disgusting). But they're still narrow, so we have to climb over our suitcases. And there is plenty of space to reverse the door. Please!

Yelp
Pretty good airport. Easy to get to, not too far from the city. Efficient and friendly TSA Pre. All the gates are connected so I was able to hang out with a friend leaving from A when I was from C. Decent food and retail options. Clean enough for an airport. Seemed like a good size for the city!
google avatar

Kalia A.

Yelp
By far one of my favorite airports due to the ease of getting through security, clean restrooms, and food options. They also have a lot of shopping spots and the staff are genuinely kind. There's even a Minute Suite for naps.
google avatar

Matt B.

Yelp
The new Uber/Lyft pickup procedure is a disaster. They drop you in the same area as pickup which has created chaos. Taxi is the better option at this point.
google avatar

Tommy P.

Yelp
Reasonably nice airport. Smooth floors for rolling your bags, not terribly large for connections, lots of food options and places to sit and recharge. Bathrooms could have been better - air dry only and many of those weren't functioning. Overall, not bad!

Yelp
The basis of this review is not the airport itself. However, I liked BNA and appreciated the art, locally owned restaurants and shops, and healthy options for those who want to balance enjoying vacation while also keeping it somewhat healthy. I traveled to Nashville last Thursday. Traveling home this morning and could not find my passport. Panicked and stressed I headed to the airport anyway. Samuel at the SWA counter gave me hope...and instructions. I arrive at TSA and Austin, Ebony and supervisor Sierra helped me. I was in absolute tears. Ebony asked me what was wrong. I told her they were happy tears. Today was the first time working with friendly TSA staff who actually wanted to help, could help, and did help. I was overwhelmed with gratitude. I made my flight and arrived home on time. Thank you so much!

Yelp
Hundred of people stuck waiting on luggage due to weather and about 20 seats. There is plenty of wide open space to add seating.

Yelp
PROS: this is a very cozy airport. Carpets, renovated shops, and friendly staff. Bunch of nice restaurants and stores CONS: if you're using uber or Lyft you need to walk a good distance outside of the airport to get to the pick up zone OVERALL: as long as you don't mind walking to your ride share pick up zone I highly recommend flying with this airport

Yelp
Therapy looks like a newer terminal. Everyone is very nice. The service here is provided as it should be. The ambience can vary, depending on a busy day or not so busy day many airlines are service here so it adds a lot of value they do have lounges as well plenty of seating and very open space Highly recommend for your international travels or just domestic travel as well.

Yelp
Nashville International Airport was one of our stops for our connecting flight home. The airport is very busy and employees are very efficient in getting all the people traveling where they need to go. Needed wheelchair assistance due to a knee injury and the young man was courteous, helpful, and friendly he even asked if I needed to make a bathroom stop or if I wanted to eat something. He strolled me around to see what different types of food and restaurants they had near our gate before we made a choice. Got some food and then got to our gate with time to spare before boarding our flight. I was really disappointed that they let me board first because I had wheelchair assistance, However, they made my husband wait and board with the section C passengers. In my opinion if we're are traveling as a family, we should be able to board together.

Yelp
I have traveled through many domestic airports, but none compare to BNA, especially since all the renovations and remodeling. I am a Nashvillian, but objectively, it's truly a quality airport that standouts from most major cities, as far as, cleanliness, ease and options. The design is modern and everything feels new, it's easy to navigate, overall it operates so efficiently. Security lines move quickly, especially the newer technology that doesn't require you to take electronics out of your bag. The layout makes it nearly impossible to feel lost or overwhelmed something I truly appreciate as a frequent traveler. What truly sets BNA apart is the vibe and all the local offerings. Live music performances right in the terminal? Yes, please! It's like a mini concert before your flight, setting the perfect tone for any trip. The coffee and dining options are next-level, featuring some of Nashville's best local flavors, from hot chicken to Tennessee whiskey bars. Unlike other airports that feel generic, BNA celebrates our city in every detail and I love that. Even the small things make a difference: friendly staff, plenty of seating, spotless restrooms, water bottle refill stations, and tons of charging stations. I've never felt stressed or rushed here everything flows so smoothly. If every airport operated like BNA, travel would be more enjoyable. Whether I'm coming home or heading out, I actually look forward to spending time here. BNA isn't just an airport it's an immersion into the beauty of a city and a model for what other airports can aspire to. Nashville, you've outdone yourself. Bravo, BNA! Also, let's not go changing our names to anything crazy now, okay?!

Yelp
... I loved this CD chandelier.. of course it's the music capital.... It was a typical Friday night... very busy... I got my luggage pretty quick.. and my Uber arrived within minutes...

Yelp
Fantastic airport that has kept up with the growth of the surrounding area, and also kept up nicely with the way that people travel these days like having a dedicated area for rideshare pickup that is separate from the rental shuttles and all the other pandemonium (though that area definitely gets busy too). First of all, and the main point with any airport, the layout is simple and effective. They've done everything they can architecturally to ensure a smooth flow from check-in and bag drop, thru security, and into the main terminal with branching paths that are easy to understand. In my three experiences flying out of this airport, I was drop-off to gate in about 30 minutes. The airport itself is very sleek, clean, and has all the modern amenities travelers need. Plenty of plugs for device charging, lots of seating, bathrooms seemingly around every corner, and lots of natural light. With it being Nashville, you're going to find plenty of places to have a drink as well with some even doing live music. All in all, great spot to fly in and out of, would do again (not that I could take my business elsewhere right?)

Yelp
I am flown in and out of BNA, Nashville's airport a handful of times and have also had a few layovers as well here. I will say one thing that really makes Nashville's airport unique from the rest is the live music from some truly talented local folks. I have not gone to any other airport in the US (and I do travel a lot) that has live music, which really is something I look forward to at this airport. I am also a big fan of Goo Goo Clusters, which is a chocolate cluster made in Nashville that is filled with nuts, caramel, nougat and chocolate that I can only get in Tennessee. So when I have a layover, I always make sure to pick up some to bring back home. Prices are the same at the airport as the one at the store in downtown by the way. But anyways, on my most recent visit to and from this airport to fly back home, my husband, our little girl dog and I had no trouble getting through TSA (we do have the pre check though). The TSA employees were friendly and helpful as I was busy trying to get my items/ luggage onto the belt and off of it. One employee was helpful to pick up my carry on luggage and take it off the belt for me, as I was trying to grab my dog's padded carrier and leash off the belt. For those that are traveling with dogs, there are indoor dog relief areas (there are a few great outdoor relief areas as well). One is in concourse D which is a nice one because it has one of those hydration stations, a sink and also provided poop bags. There is also a large photo background of the Nashville Parthenon. The other one is between concourse C and D, which is much smaller but does the job if your dog is able to potty on fake grass (which sometimes can be a challenge for a lot of dogs). Please note that there is also fake grass in the pet relief area in concourse D as well. I do like that there are also a lot of food choices at this airport, which is nice if you didn't eat prior or remember to bring food with you to the airport. It is also nice that there are water bottle refill stations and outlets under your seat while you wait at the terminal, which really is nice. When arriving into this airport, it is very easy to leave and head downstairs to pick up your luggage from the baggage claim. And if you need to pick up a car rental, you walk across and follow the path to the car rental (as oppose to some car rentals at the airport that require you take the free shuttle to them). Overall, this is a great airport that makes it very easy to get in and out of. And also convenient for those who are like us that travel with their dogs too.

Yelp
BNA is a hoppin' place, it has tons of cool shops. Easy to Navigate and TSA lines were short. Definitely a great destination!

Yelp
Quality/Quantity - Spent more time here than most. Our first day here we had to wait for our daughter for approximately 3 hours as she flew in from a different city. Then we dropped her off and our flight was not for another 3 hours. The things we do for direct flights... So many great dining and drinking options; see all our other reviews. All of which were reasonably priced. We expected "airport" prices and was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere - Good size airport with 5 gates - ABCD and T. 49+ dining options; see my pictures or their website. 43+ shopping options. Entertainment available - See website. Open 24/7. Easy ride share to the airport. Service - Good. Although we were noticing how STRICT Southwest airlines were with their 2 carry on bags policy. Slightly confused, as I see the violators just take their 3rd bag back out right after they pass the boarding pass scanner. Price - Depends on who you fly with. We did Southwest for this trip. We pay extra for direct flights. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1937.

Yelp
First time coming to Nashville and experiencing this airport. All in all I had a great experience. No lengthy time spent waiting in TSA. Getting my bags was easy. Not too long a hassle to get to ride share app area. It also has plenty of shops and restaurants. Plenty of cities wish they had an airport like this one...
google avatar

Linda B.

Yelp
Average far as airports, go nothing spectacular, except for some live music at some of the eateries. Staff was courteous enough and organized.
google avatar

Mary R.

Yelp
The Nashville Airport was A-OK. I enjoyed looking at the gift shops while I waited but they were all very similar and generic. I wish Nashville Airport would adapt the model of other airports who have pop-up shops from local artists and craftfolk, not just stuff made elsewhere. The small size of the airport makes it easy to navigate but I have to say that getting to the rental car garage seemed more complicated and needed better wayfinding. I want to give a special shout out to the Budget Rental who found and held my drivers license until I could return. Thank you! and thanks to the kind stranger who turned it into them.
google avatar

Alex F.

Yelp
Great airport definitely definitely knew I was in Nashville wen I saw and heard guy playing live music. Great airport very big and nice.
google avatar

Sasha P.

Yelp
I fly through pretty frequently and honestly... it's one of my favorites for a small airport. There are a BUNCH of options for food and drinks. Security is usually pretty painless - with or without TSA precheck - and you don't have to take a million shuttles or sprint across a town to get where you need to be. Another fun perk is that there's usually live music at a few spots - you can enjoy it or avoid it, your choice. I have a few spots I like to frequent for a quick drink or meal, but honestly this airport does the job and I have no complaints.
google avatar

Sara G.

Yelp
Nashville's airport has come a long way with its recent renovations, and overall, it's an impressive travel hub. The new design is sleek and modern, with clean spaces. I love the live music--true to Music City, you can catch performances right in the terminal. That said, it's crowded. The airport seems to be handling more traffic than it was built for, and finding a place to sit can be a challenge. More seating areas would go a long way. Food-wise, there are plenty of Southern-inspired options, which makes sense given the location, but the variety could be better.
google avatar

Anton F.

Yelp
The Nashville airport is one of the airports I find easy to get around, many options for shopping, food and cell phone charging. I have gotten my Fitbit steps in whenever I have flown in or out but no issues. Each flight to date has been on time, no delays. With the floor to ceiling views, creates a larger feel. The southern hospitality is felt throughout from curbside to terminal.
google avatar

Tony S.

Yelp
New to Nashville airport and I was expecting a smaller airport but this facility has it all. I will be a regular to Nashville for business more often.
google avatar

Camille N.

Yelp
This was my first time at this airport, layover for a connecting flight. I really like the design, super modern. It is bright, inviting, and clean. The airport staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the live music at the terminals. I would not mind another layover at this airport. Everything moved smoothly with no delays. The only thing I didn't care for, not a big deal but it was the 6 questions I had to answer prior to getting a WiFi connection.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
With all the billions spent, it is still a 1/2 mile walk to the offsite parking shuttle (and ride share and hotel shuttle). No people moving at BNA! I have some mobility issues and find it hard to believe that wheelchairs are the only option - no moving sidewalks and no carts. I really don't need a wheelchair but could certainly use a moving sidewalk for the long stretches. It was apparently intentional? To increase shopping perhaps???
google avatar

Louis-Charles C.

Yelp
Flew out of Nashville after having driven down from Owensboro in a snowstorm and the staff from the TSA to the gate attendants at American were all very accommodating and understanding when having to navigating the customer service hurdles of bad weather

Dot M.

Yelp
As of June 2025, uber/ride share can no longer drop off at departure entrances at Nashville airport unless you pay extra to have a "handicapped" uber. However, Taxis can drop off without limitation. This is blatant discrimination!!!! Taxi companies obviously bribed the airport. If it were really about "congestion" relief( the excuse given) , taxis would be included in the inconvenient drop off site. It is another obvious ploy to favor high price taxis over ride-share companies and some one is on the take. Husband is on cane and it is a 2-3 block extra walk to entrance. This needs to be fixed before someone sues you!!
google avatar

Kristina K.

Yelp
I had a layover here, and I enjoyed my stay. The airport is clean, bright, and open. Lots of space. The bathrooms were clean and had two hooks and a shelf in the bathroom for luggage (which I suuper appreciate). There are lots of spaces to plug in and work (which I also super appreciate!). I love the simple coffee shop; great service and good drinks. Would travel through again!
google avatar

Anthony K.

Yelp
Clean airport, with numerous places to eat. The food vendors are typical of other airports...overpriced. The restrooms were clean & stocked. TSA went smooth.

Yelp
I looooove Nashville Airport aka BNA BNA transformed Nashville International Airport (BNA) has recently undergone a remarkable transformation. Gone is the worn 70s carpet. While construction continues, most of it won't disrupt the traveler's experience. The BNA renovation project, which began in 2017, has breathed new life into this bustling airport. It's a great airport on many fronts. The flight options are plentiful for a middle sized airport. Great destinations, many nonstop- including our favorite BNA- LHR. The airport itself is impressive. The 5th floor walkway from Terminal parking to the terminal is impressive. Then you enter an expansive grand lobby. Naturally lit, airy, modern. For those of us who lived through its renovation, this is a breath of fresh air. Two massive 70-foot-long screens dominate the lobby, showcasing footage from various locations across the state of Tennessee. BNA has revamped its security lanes as well, making the process smoother and more efficient. Twenty-four TSA screening lanes ensure that travelers can move through security swiftly. The new 3D scanners for carry-on bags mean you no longer have to remove larger electronics. While BNA has Clear, it's usually backed up while the TSA lines are shorter. You will not go hungry. There is a large number of local restaurants with presence at the airport. It's notable the "local" places outnumber the national chains. With the new concourses, they also updated international arrivals. Two luggage belts obviously in anticipation of more international flights. The global entry, immigration, customs process is streamlined and easy to move through. While you typically only use an airport to fly in or out, it's updated design and offerings makes it a great place to hang out on a long layover or flight delay.

Yelp
Decent size older airport that is easy to get in and out of. I prefer that any day over the mega airports. It took me 15 minutes to my hotel in downtown. Also surprisingly well connected given the size, it has a direct to SFO.
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
I guess your experience depends on which terminal you're in. I was in terminal T with the American Airlines flights, and that area is nice and clean. The T terminal has a big, open courtyard with lots of tables and fake trees, so it feels a little less claustrophobic. There was a shockingly long line for security, but it moved fast and it didn't take as long as I thought it would. The line for security went from one part of the airport and wrapped around, but it still only took less than 40 minutes. They did not make us take off our shoes, take our laptop or phone out of our bag, or remove light sweaters. It was a breeze to get through, despite the airport being slammed.

Yelp
Recently flew in and out of BNA for a long weekend in Nashville. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about BNA. Love that we found a local coffee shop right away, 8&R. Having left Phoenix very early, we of course had to get a cup of coffee before going to baggage claim. User error, but we missed the turn for baggage claim and walked all the way to another terminal, but were able to find our way back. By the time we made it to baggage claim, our bags were already on the carousel. From there, we followed the signs and directions to the rideshare section of the airport to catch a ride. On our way out of Nashville, we took a rideshare and got dropped off at the front. It was a busy weekend in Nashville (but then again, when is it not busy?), so there was a very long line for TSA. Fortunately for us, we have TSA pre-check and were able to hop in the shorter line. If you don't, I highly suggest arriving at least two hours before your flight just to be safe. From there, we were able to locate our gate quickly where we waited for our flight. Like I said, no complaints for my first flight in and out of BNA. I felt it was fairly easy to navigate, wait times were decent, and the staff were pleasant.

Yelp
I love Nashville! I love the new additions and updates to the airport! Super clean inside! But TSA lines are ridiculous! I arrived almost 2 hours before my departure flight. I usually wouldn't do this for BNA but luckily I did. It took an hour and a half to get through the TSA at 5:30am!!! The traffic for the pick up and drop off outside of the airport is just as bad as the as Nashville traffic! It's sooo ridiculous! Whenever I read about how traffic was backed up to the interstate and people were getting out of the car walking to the airport so they can catch their flights, I definitely believe it. It's that busy! Seriously something needs to be done here, perhaps more lanes, more employees, something. End of rant!

Yelp
I had to go to Nashville for a work trip and since BNA made the most sense to fly into and out of, I booked my flights there. Airport reviews can be tricky since a lot of it has to do with the experience of the specific airline you're flying, however I will try to be as objective as possible. For an international airport, BNA is pretty small. There is only (to my knowledge) one terminal, however I didn't encounter any crowds or bottlenecking - I was though security pretty quickly and my bags came to the carousel in a relatively short amount of time. Signs and gates are clearly marked, and it was super easy to get around. The rideshare pickup area is a smidge of a walk after leaving baggage claim, but again it's clearly marked and was a large enough space for multiple parties to wait. Despite its size, I found they had a good variety of shops and eateries - more so than larger airports I've been to. Besides the usual suspects, Hattie B's has a location here so you can get your hot chicken fix either as soon as you land or right before leaving the city. Overall, BNA is fine - nothing too noteworthy but nothing below average either. I will say, the features are all icing on the cake; the most important thing to me is for an airport to get me in and out efficiently and safely - which they did.

Yelp
I hadn't been since 2019, until Christmas 2024. The airport definitely has made nice changes and felt more inviting than it used to be. Everything here was a quick process and I was in and out of security in less than 15 minutes. My gate was pretty far though, but other than that my experience was smooth sailing.

Yelp
This is apparently the airport that ACTUALLY sleeps. Came in on Alaska airlines and arrived at 12:15 am and the place was utterly and completely dead. Every store closed. Not a single person in the terminal besides cleaning personnel riding around on those squeegee go kart style things. Our plane was the only one at baggage claim. I looked at the departure board and were quite a few upcoming departures, but not a single one before 5 am. Truly the support that actually gets a rest.

Yelp
The reservation online process was easy and quick The gentleman at the Nashville airport was approachable and engaging. I had to wait a few minutes for them to prep the suv. The manager brought my paperwork and advised I was ready to go in no time My only issue was the previous renter was a smoker and of course I am not. It would have been nice if the could have sprayed the inside between rentals Thanks for a pleasant experience

Yelp
Since my last review, I found this airport has better food than before, especially in the D Terminal. There were a few options that looked good and I had trouble deciding which one to go to. Lots of Hot Chicken Options, if you're into that! The restrooms have some DUMB ASS SINKS. Thy have a hand dryer in between two faucets which makes it super awkward when you're done washing your hands. You're actually still in the way so the next guy has to wait to wash the dookie off his hands. Also, I prefer paper towels as during travel, I feel kinda gross and it's good to wipe your face and bald head with a wet towel. Not in Nashville! Maybe they think everyone's a dirty cowboy! If I ever go to Nashville again, I would definitely return to this airport. Unless I drive!

Yelp
We landed safely. Airport clean. Had to take shuttle to luggage claim. Shuttle was readily available- no waiting. Luggage was already there. Car rental on site as well. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and restrooms. Beautiful art installation!!

Yelp
The place is being renovated and I have an up coming trip to Colorado. Going to have to do my homework to see where everything is since the upgrades. I know they have a new cellphone Parker's place off Bailey pkwy and Thompson lane saw the sign the other day. This is really not near the airport, but close.

Yelp
Nice space: epically big and spacious with interesting sight lines in parts, and intuitively easy to figure out where to go. Plenty of options for food and drink with space to enjoy it. I was able to go in and out quite efficiently for my visit.

Yelp
We have come a long way Nashville! BNA is an amazing airport. The new lane and entrance is getting better to handle the traffic. Security has been great, I have Clear and Pre so far so good. Once through security there several Local to Nashville Restaurants. I would suggest you plan ahead and search them out because they are all very good and easy to get too.

Yelp
Pretty nice and decently serviced airport. We didn't do enough research and went through all the gates before realizing that Hattie B's is in the C Gates. Highly recommend if you didn't get a chance to try their hot chicken on your trip that the airport is the last chance and go to C gates! The line unfortunately was too long for us so we ran back to our gate. Pretty easy to navigate and the "shape" is like a turkey's bum -- each gate fans out from the main security area so you're never going too far. Dropping the star rating because there were no physical directories and the touchscreen directories did not work, hence the loss of time wandering around trying to find what food was available where. TSA precheck line was super quick -- the SO was in regular security for about 15-20 minutes more than me, so recommend coming here about 1.5 to 2 hrs early for a midday/afternoon flight.
