Perfect location close to the lake and the centre of town. Good size rooms - we had a balcony as well which overlooked the lake. Breakfast was fine, with a hot and cold selection. Staff were friendly and helpful. If sorting from the station, there is a funicular to the hotel level and then not far to walk.

This hotel deserves 5 stars. The lake view was breathtaking. The location couldn't have been better. I stayed 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff, the room, the breakfast, the location were all perfect. The owner went beyond call of duty and made my stay unforgettable. Thank you.

We have enjoyed our week-long stay at Hotel Nassa mainly because of the extremely friendly staff : David from the reception - desk was very forthcoming with ideas about which places to visit and what activities to do in Lugano and surrounding area. It was a pleasure to chat with him every time every time we passed by him. We also enjoyed the very cosy breakfast - room which was being taken care of by the same Lady every morning who treated us like old familiar customers as of day 2. The hotel is very conveniently located in the center of town, the lake is across the street, a supermarket close by and it takes around 20 minutes to walk to the train-station. The room was simple, clean and quiet. ( The door still gets locked with a good old-fashioned key ) We found the beds & duvets to be surprisingly comfortable. An additional electrical socket in the room would have been useful. We would definitely book Hotel Nassa again if David is still around and the Italian - speaking waitress remembers our usual order .

This is a great hotel with wonderful service. The rooms are great with a beatiful view and the breakfast is small but has all you need. The location is in the city so can be a challenge to get to when arriving by train at the top of the hill. There are lots of stairs down to the city so make sure you take the train down which takes about 2 minutes. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed with my family at Nassa Garni back in the beginning of July '23 for two nights. Single room with a bathroom for two adults and a 5-year old. It's was definitively not the cheapest hotel we stayed in during the holiday, but it's still relatively within reason.|The location is excellent, and we got a room with a view of the lake, which can't be faulted either. |Room was clean, and the beds were comfortable enough. Temperature was fine.|The service by the hotel was excellent, and the breakfast was fine too, even it it wasn't spectacular. |It's a small place, and if you are arriving by car, try to reserve a parking space with the hotel in advance. |Would I stay there again, if coming back to Lugano? If the finances were for it, I'd certainly consider it :-)

We stayed for one night in winter Feb 2023. The bed is really comfortable, the room is very well isolated from the noise outside. The balcony is really big with a superb view of Lake Lugano. The breakfast is also very rich with so many options. The service is very satisfying. Many of the staff speak at least Italian, German, French and English. This hotel is very much recommended.

I agree with previous reviews as about the beautiful view from front rooms, the very friendly staff, the good position - especially fro going to the LAC (Lugano Arte e Cultura) and the room was all clean.|BUT: the breakfast just does not agree with the rate of Fr.200.- for the room. It mainly consists of the cheepest possible ingredients.....

Hôtel Nassa Garni has a very good location facing the lake and close to the center of the city. |The room we had was spacious, clean but a bit old, it had a big terrasse with a beautiful lake view and Mont Bré.|The breakfast room is small, but in good weather one can take breakfast to a terrasse. The variety of breakfast was rather limited.|The staff are friendly and helpful. |||
