The Essential Guide to Naples, Florida

"With no website and no marketing, this insider-favorite (opened in Sep. 2023) pairs chef Ming Yee and wine curator Diego’s small-production bottles from unexpected places like Mount Etna and the Canary Islands with a small but mighty-in-creativity food menu; even the caesar salad is topped with furikake and a parmesan crisp." - Travel + Leisure Editors

While there are plenty of places to eat in Naples, most are over priced with overwrought dishes that do no justice to the ingredients Florida offers up in abundance. Then, there is Nat-Nat: some surprising combination of a wine bar — with global reach — and living room, and thoughtful, fresh, inspiring cooking, the kinds of small plates that make home cooks reach for a notepad to mull over how one might take an idea from here home. I’ve had grouper in Florida for decades, but never an innovative dish that does the fish, and the cook, such credit. I cannot wait to eat here again. If you enjoy that complicated line of local products, thoughtful preparations, great service, and fun, you must eat here.

Shhh. 🤫 please don’t tell anyone else about this hidden gem. I asked the very attentive and server “what’s the best thing in the menu?” no hesitation she said “it sounds a bit unusual, but the Reverse Seared Cabbage” fabulous rich and just incredibly delis. This also has a wonderful selection of wines and a semi casual extra cozy wine 🍷 bar and chill vibe. I came in on a Friday night at 9…the kitchen closes about 10:30 but nice place to relax and have another glass of French Malbec or two or get a bottle. Cheers.

This place is a true hidden gem — with emphasis on the “gem” (but you do have to drive off the Tamiami Trail and turn right twice—the entrance is a bit hidden). The food here is ridiculously tasty and fresh. The menu is short, so it’s easy to decide; we tried half of it and every bite was a delight. Locally sourced from farmers who care, and prepared with care, love, and imagination without going nuts (pun intended). The presentation is simple but lovely and appetizing. The wines deserve their own review, but let it be said you won’t be bored with this selection. The service and attitude of the staff were outstanding and the atmosphere cozy and classy at the same time. This review might sound like they paid me for it, but I’m just writing it sincerely straight after dinner there. Major recommend and I’ll be returning to Nat Nat Yum Yum every time I’m in Naples.

I enjoyed a Friday evening dinner with my daughter at Nat Nat. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back. There is a cozy, relaxed feeling here with excellent service and delicious food and wonderful wine. So happy to have discovered this little gem!

Google
Nat Nat is a hidden, youthful gem in Naples. The food is delicious. Every dish is packed with flavor and clearly made from high-quality ingredients. The portions are on the smaller side, so don’t come starving or just order a few things to share. Also it's walk-in only (no reservations, as far as I know). Despite that, it’s 100% worth checking out. If you’re looking for a cool, local, off-the-radar restaurant in Naples, Nat Nat is the spot.

This hidden gem is the best restaurant in Naples! All organic food made in an artisan style, chef comes out and explains some of the dishes. Service is excellent, my wife and I love it!

Café Nutrients is located in Naples, Florida, directly off of U.S. 41 and towards South Naples. With no doubt, my opinion is that Café Nutrients is one of Southwest Florida’s BEST PLANT BASED RESTAURANTS! From juice, coffee, kombucha, tea drinks and smoothies, to wraps, bowls, sushi’s and daily specials-the kitchen always provides the cafe’s guest with creatively prepared delicious food and drink. Café Nutrients has a nice vibe inside. They always have good music playing, and the employees are always cool and accommodating to every guests needs. I highly recommend this unique spot for those who practice health conscious living. The flavor filled, and very fulfilling plant-based cuisine at Café Nutrients is on point! Enjoy!!

After months of coming to the Natty weekly I can confidently say it’s one of the best spots in town. Delicious natural wine with knowledgeable Diego. He always knows the best pairing and has super interesting background in wines and growers. It’s amazing. The most fire food from Ming and Anna - seriously we order the menu every week and it just doesn’t miss. It’s a great, upbeat vibe. Not the slightest bit stiff. Intimate environment with a fun and light-hearted element. The folks running this place day in and day out clearly love what they do. The product and energy exudes it! — Great wine. Great people. Delicious food. Good vibes all around. Ming, Diego and Peter (AND Anna, Kim and Caleb!!!) are good folks with lots of knowledge and insights they clearly get joy in sharing. We’ve been 3 times since we discovered the little gem in December and every time the staff has been friendly, helpful and attentive. The wine has been delicious (bottles they guided us towards and their regular tastings) every visit and the gnocchi with vodka sauce was heavenly. We will be regulars. There is a $20 corkage fee (overall price on par with local restaurants IMO) so sometimes we opt to grab wine and go but it really is worth the vibe and the wine insights to stay.

Yelp
Was searching for a new brunch spot and saw on their IG story that they were open for brunch and decided to head by. Staff was very accommodating our party had a gluten free and onion sensitivity and the chef whipped up something off the menu for us. Could tell ingredients were of quality will definitely be back for dinner in the future

Yelp
Loved this little hole in the wall neobistro/wine shop. We went for dinner on a Wednesday and were seated right away. We shared several plates, including the arugula Caesar salad, insanely delicious homemade focaccia with grass fed butter and chives and the sautéed gourmet mushrooms. The sommelier helped us choose a unique red which especially paired well with the garlicky Caesar. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
This is a beautiful hidden natural wine paradise! It is a natural wine shop and bar which offers a food menu at night. They are a scratch kitchen so they offer foods depending on what produce is available from local organic farms. When you walk in you are greeted by the nicest people It is a small area with ample seating and there is bar seating as well. It has nice low lighting and feels very romantic. You're sitting down surrounded by displays of wine and beautiful maps of the wine regions around the world. We did opt to sit at the bar, since we love watching what's going on behind the scenes. They basically pick 3 bottles off the shelf to pour for the night. So you can do a wine flight of all 3 or you can choose to get a glass of one specifically. You can also pick a bottle of the walls if you prefer that too. Definitely a place to come with an open mind. If you are open to tasting new wines, you might just find your favorite. On the night we went it was Taco Night! So we got to enjoy some tasty creations. Keep in mind these are basically fusion concept dishes (so it's not your typical Mexican taco). For example my favorite that night was the prosciutto parm quesadilla. It was such a cool concept and the taste was amazing! It had prosciutto and parmesan cheese inside with a mustard aioli and pickled veggies. So delicious! They also had a smoked pork belly taco and that smoked pork belly was to die for! Service was great. The whole staff was so nice and welcoming! Great place for a romantic date night
