What a beautiful bridge to start or end your adventures along the Natchez Trace Parkway, so much history to see and learn.
I highly recommend getting a parkway map at one of the main visitor centers they have detailed mile descriptions, describing where and what everything is, even * next to the “Must See”.
It took us three days to Finish the entire route, there’s a lot of great camping RV sites available all throughout the trace without having to leave it. Although I do not recommend the Mississippi State parks, no offense, but they could be a lot cleaner better maintained, however they will work if need be.
We found all of the Natchez Trace Parkway RV campsites the several locations we stayed at to be wonderful, somewhat spaced out, plug-ins for RVs, dump stations.
As I said, I recommend passing up the state parks, particularly in Mississippi they’re missing a few things.
Please don’t expect any nice showers or bathhouses/bathrooms. The one we stayed at was very dirty, did not have any nice restrooms or showers, no paper towels.
I would highly recommend staying along the Natchez trace Parkway Camping RV sites, which are many.
Any questions just ask.
