Nathmal Ki Haveli is undoubtedly beautiful from the outside, with detailed yellow stone carvings that reflect the craftsmanship Jaisalmer is famous for. However, it’s not really open to tourists, the haveli is privately owned and still occupied by a family, and visitors are only allowed to enter the narrow middle passage. That area mainly has small shops selling local items. It was disappointing to learn that the family seems to allow only "specific"(;p) tourists to see the interiors.
If you’re short on time, you can easily skip this spot and focus on other havelis or attractions in Jaisalmer that offer a fuller experience
