Was really moved by my visit to the Museo Nacional. The current exhibit of female artists is particularly great but the whole museum is laid out in a really beautiful and thoughtful way. The art is impactful. If you don’t speak Spanish consider a bilingual tour guide

The Museum currently holds an exhibition of female artists that I fully recommend. There is also a photo exhibition on Japan, which I personally found a little less exciting. Generally, I recommend a visit. One downside is, though, that there are no English texts at all, which makes the exhibitions a little less accessible for international tourists. I feel that at least the introductory texts could be translated.

An amazing variety of works from Bolivian artists. Curated and displayed with professional accuracy.

Interesting museum with many works to showcase Bolivian art in different periods. The entrance fee is 35 Bolivianos and they don't accept cards. The museum is not that big and you can see everything in less than 2hours.

We couldn't see it all because of work in progress, still, amazingly varied art. Diverse styles that go beyond the tourist view on Bolivian art.

Located in the popular square, Plaza Murillo, a small exhibition of Bolivian art spread across three floors. Get ready to climb up some stairs as there is no elevator in the building. The building is used to be the residence of Mayor Don Francisco Tadeo Diez de Medina y Vidango before it was converted to present use in 1960s. Ticket costs 20bs for foreigner and can be purchase at the site.

A modern Bolivian art collection in a beautiful colonial building. The focus is on women artists and in art. Very thought provoking and interesting.

Very cozy and interesting art museum. They have Bolivian modern artist works. The building itself also beautiful. I went to there weekday afternoon. No much people. you can relax and forget about noisy road.
