Talk about a hidden gem of Prague! Even though you can clearly see it on a hill, for some reason everyone goes just to the city center, this place was almost empty as we visited. And it is definitely worth a visit, absolutely stunning 360 degree view is truly something else. The building itself is a monument and sort of museum built of stone and marble. There is also a cafe with equally stunning views, but it could've been nicer on the inside. Oh, and the best part? It's totally free to visit, including the rooftop platform.

This remarkable monument is quite impressive. An elevator provides access to the building's summit, where one can enjoy a panoramic view encompassing nearly all of Prague. Reaching this location necessitates a climb up the hill, an endeavor that is undoubtedly worthwhile. The second floor features lovely rooms and a charming café, which is among the highest in Prague. There, one can find coffee, cakes, beer, and other refreshing beverages. Please note that they only accept cash, but the prices are quite reasonable. Even if the monument is closed, the magnificent statue and the views from the platform remain exceptional. However, I highly suggest visiting when you can experience the roof and the café.

Great views from the top of this memorial in Prague. It’s free to enter. The pier There was an exhibition area which was closed as they’re updating it. The interior is really striking compared to the outside. It was definitely worth the walk up the hill to get there.

Extremely impressive monument which we unintentionally discovered after visiting the Army Museum. Definitely worth getting the lift to the top of the memorial for some stunning views. There is even a café serving Pilsner Urquell as a reward for climbing the hill! The monument itself is completely free too.

Stunning find we happened upon by accident. It has some interesting historical context and offers a wonderful view of the whole of Prague and I think makes a great ending to the trip looking out at all the landmarks you saw in person off in the distance.

This monument can be seen from afar. Had not planned on going but am glad we went. It was worth the trip. Admission is free but its up on a hill so if you’re not fit it will be difficult to get there. There is no public transportation nor taxi drop off. The scenery from atop of the monument building is breathtaking. The interior of the building is reminiscent of the communist era. There’s a nice Cafe inside.

For the lovers of monumentalism (and views). Cool and empty, free toilets. The cafe is fine, definitely not "chic" though. Quiet, free wifi, beer, coffee, sunny terrace.
