"Fort St. Catherine and Museum The first fortification to occupy this spot on the northern tip of Bermuda was built from wood in 1612; it was replaced just two years later by a stone structure. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this fort was rebuilt and expanded several more times over the centuries as the needs of the Royal Navy changed and its presence on Bermuda increased. The final expansion in the 19th century included the addition of military housing and new gun positions. Today the site, which sits between St. Catherine Beach and Achilles Bay, includes a dry moat, numerous stone buildings, and a museum that features antique weapons and a gallery of dioramas that trace the fort’s various iterations."

Great museum with a fantastic view. There is a fort and grounds to explore as well as the commissioners house which is attached to the fort. This is a short walk from the Royal Navy Dockyard which made it easy to get off our cruise ship and walk over.

One of the top things to do in Bermuda You can watch swim with the dolphins sitting right next to the pools. you can see all the museums inside. you can visit at the commissioner's house. don't miss the 32-person meeting table upstairs The fact that the commission's house had cannons in the basement and the walk-through was really fun. it's one of the best views you can see when you're out on the balconies of the commissioners house. also don't miss the the dark tunnel as you're going up the ramp. you can get a great picture of your cruise ship through some window openings in the dark tunnels at the end. prisoners paradise is something to see also, It's kind of hidden but you take some stairs down and you can see where the prisoners were kept

We weren't expecting to see dolphins. The grounds were beautiful and the museum was interesting and educational. The views were absolutely breathtaking. I loved the Halloween decorations in the display cases, that was too cute! It was like a little scavenger hunt to find them all.

Beautiful place. So much to explore. Great views around it are a big plus. Ticketed entry and great lessons on Bermuda history with lots of paintings and artefacts. One can eaaily spend 2-3 hours here. So many places to get amazing pictures. Walking distance from cruise terminal/ships. Lots of gift shops around it.
