Nice objects from all the continents. Went there on a Sunday, the place was quite busy with families, there were kids running and shouting. Not the best museum experience.

Incredible museum with a lot of artifacts from Japan and China. Also a large section dedicated to the indigenous tribes around Polynesia and the native tribes of America. Leiden is blessed to have these awesome artifacts on display. There are also some workshops going on to participate in sometimes. I can definitely recommend visiting this museum!

Loved this museum. Great collection of global artefacts. Loved the Asian selections some lovely Buddhist artworks. Pretty quiet so nice serene experience. Nice large cafe too. About 16euro to enter.

Loved the variety of this exhibition. There are pieces from different parts of the world. The sections included north America, Siberia, Oceania, Indonesia, China, Japan, South Korea, and Africa. The exhibition has a lot of paintings from around the world. There is also a hall where there you can watch some movies about antiquities.

What a wonderful museum! We spend quite a few hours in the different rooms that bring you all around the world with items from every continent. I really enjoyed my stay there and found it absolutely not to be missed on my list. The staff at the entrance was also very kind and welcoming when explaining the different areas. If you are visiting Leiden I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Engaging and thoughtful museum on humanity’s rich past with galleries covering unique cultures and their tangible and intangible heritage. Been visiting this museum since I was a young boy and the artefacts and stories surrounding them never cease to be mesmerising. A great day out for young kids as well with the educational adventure route set up for them by the museum. Frequently stop by the museum shop here to get gifts for friends and family as well.

It is covered on museum card. A very good experience to know about different cultures and history around the world. Very informative. Its a big museum so atleast plan 3 to 4 hrs to fully enjoy. Have good cafes and shop as well. Excellent experience overall.
