This Museum is a beautiful place to spend a few hours. The building itself is gorgeous, and the sculptures are absolutely amazing—you can even see the veins in their arms, just mind-blowing! The museum has a nice mix of Chilean and international art. Some areas are currently closed for renovations. It’s a bit of a bummer, but there’s still plenty to see and enjoy. Best of all? It’s totally free to visit!! It’s definitely worth checking out while you’re in Santiago.

Glad this is free!! Absolutely beautiful building but barely any actual art inside save for some sculptures. The current exhibits are all odd, postmodern art, only with Spanish text. I was in and out in 10 min. It’s VERY warm inside with the gorgeous glass ceiling.

Very nice museum. Arrogant US citizen saying there were not many English translations. The museum was undergoing renovation so much of it was blocked off. Still a great deal of fun and art to see. The museum is free but not open on Monday.

I would put this on the list of things to do if you're staying in Santiago for more than 3 days. Not a top tier experience. Go to the museum of memory and human rights instead.

Nice building and nice sculptures. We were not impressed with the exhibits

Despite being a beautiful building, the interior is mostly covered in modern trash art. At least there were a few beautiful statues and paintings, but overall underwhelming.

It was under renovation, but I really enjoyed experiencing it in this state. There were limited exhibits, but they were varied and contained many interesting and intriguing pieces. A good place to spend an afternoon in Santiago. Eat a Castillo Forestal across the street for French style cuisine with endless ambiance.

A lot of empty rooms but the little I saw was interesting - especially the exhibition about women’s art under the dictature
