National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium

Aquarium 5/5 Ticket grandma 1/5 Used my student ID all over taiwan for a year. But she made me pay extra because i dont have a login to my university (foreign language exchange department did not give a login or have connection to NSYSU directly). Was willing to show my schedule and classes, but she said no foreigner students are accepted only taiwanese from taiwan. Defeats the purpose of the discount and shuns foreingers.

I had a fantastic time!! I spent nearly 4 hours just roaming around and admiring the creatures. I went on a tuesday so it was mostly just me and groups of students. They have many animals and the sea tunnels are so cool! could have spent even more time just watching the tanks and taking pictures. definitely recommend for any age!

One of the best aquariums where I visited. I and my family took about 5 hours in there. The aquarium is so clean and there are the variety of sea animals. The ticket price is cheap if it was compared with the commercial aquarium in other countries.

What a great aquarium! Very reasonably priced tickets. Easily can be an all day event for the kids, also very enjoyable for the adults. Excellent representation of multiple species of water life. Parking is very convenient and cheap. Plenty of food and snack options on site. Worth the time to visit!

Great aquarium for all ages. They have food vendors there if you get hungry as it will take you 4+ hours to get through the whole experience They have a bus shuttle that runs off ezcard so easy to get to from neighboring cities They also have shows such as penguins and feeding times so definitely check those out Make sure to bring a jacket if your visiting the penguins

We love this place a lot. The ticket price is not too expense. Kids can easily spend time there all day. Will go back there when the weather is hotter, so my boy can play with water outside. The view of the ocean is also amazing.

This is probably one of the, if not the best, aquarium in the world. There are so many things to see! The animals are all healthy and happy and curious. It truly is overwhelming, and it just keeps going.

Went for the Sleepover activity which was something I’ve never experienced before. Staffs and facilities were great! Activity: had a private tour of the place, looking at different enclosures including a behind the scenes to access the aquariums, dinner & breakfast were provided. We slept at the Shark display which were pitch black. If you want some night light, I’d recommend sleeping at the Kelp Forest or Beluga. The next morning, we got a private fish feeding demo and then explored the beach to find starfish and hermit crabs. After that, you’re free to roam the place as you’ve technically already paid for the entrance ticket. Facilities: they had lockers and shower rooms with hair dryer, shower gel and shampoo. Gotta bring slippers to use in the shower room. Lockers has a NTD 10 refundable mechanism. Service: the staff were really friendly with kids and very knowledgeable. They were also very attentive to our diet restrictions and very accommodating. The only minus point was that the entire briefing and explanation are done in Mandarin so we didn’t really understand (luckily we were traveling with a friend who spoke the language so he translated for us). If they could provide like audio translation, it’d be great. Summary: Great experience - would recommend this! 🤩
