National Museum Of Pakistan

Visiting the National Museum was an amazing and memorable experience. I truly enjoyed exploring every section it’s a place filled with knowledge, culture, and history. The entire environment and surroundings are very peaceful, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. You can walk around calmly, take your time, and really absorb the history behind each display. What I loved the most was the Gandhara Civilization section. The statues of Buddha were absolutely fascinating — detailed, graceful, and beautifully preserved. It’s incredible to see such ancient art up close and imagine how rich and artistic that period was. I also really enjoyed the Quranic section, which displayed old manuscripts and beautifully written pages of the Holy Quran — it felt spiritual and inspiring. The Pre-Independence era section was equally interesting, showing the struggles and moments that shaped our country’s history. Overall, the National Museum is a place worth visiting for everyone peaceful, informative, and a perfect mix of history, art, and spirituality. Highly recommended!

It’s a great museum. There’s plenty to see , especially if you are interesting in very very old things. There are lots of old Quran manuscripts too and history about the different provinces over time. Plenty of staff around to help. Personally I think the museum could do with some better upkeep and a souvenir shop as it would appeal more to tourists. 20 entry for Pakistani and (300?) for foreigners.

I loved the museum very much here. It's decent but there is everything you want to see about pakistanian history. Also it's not to crowded and the people in there are very friendly.

Turned out better than we expected. We'll curated and an amazing collection of Qurans and Islamic books. Museum itself needs some cosmetic updates and general upkeep but Pakistan.

We got to see very cool stuff here, the staff and the guards there are super nice and polite and they dont bother you at all. the tickets are super cheap too, 20 for a person and 10 for kids. nice historic museum will recommend going here.

The treasure inside is well documented and preserved. Must visit place for history lovers.

I visited the National Museum of Pakistan in Karachi on Sunday with my friend Ahmed Ali. However, the place could be maintained a little better, as some sections looked slightly neglected. With improved facilities, it could become an even more attractive spot for both locals and foreigners. Overall, it was a memorable visit and I would recommend it to anyone interested in exploring the history of Pakistan.
