An incredible and beautifully preserved presidential palace. The guided tour for foreign visitors costs just $5 and is very well organized—no long waits, and everything runs smoothly. The building itself is stunning, full of history and elegance. At its heart stand two remarkable statues: Queen Isabella I of Castile, known as the “Queen of the Americas,” and Christopher Columbus. These add a powerful historical presence to the visit. A must-see for anyone interested in the heritage and political history of El Salvador.

Beautiful palace, it's 5 usd for foreigners but you get a guided tour included. It's worth it if you came to visit San salvador 🇸🇻. Tours are until midnight!

Absolute must visit when in town. It's $5, they have tours in English and you get to visit much of the grounds in and around the palace. It was a nice tour and was not a long wait. Highly recommended!

If you like history or visiting places with a lot of history then I recommend the National Palace. We visited the central plaza on a Sunday afternoon and decided to take the guided tour. You walk right through the front door and purchase your tickets. The most expensive ticket was $5 and it is based on your passport, mine was $3 with a central american passport. The tour lasted about 35 minutes and was very educational. The tour guide only spoke Spanish but then again no one in our group asked anything in English. They do have several different guides so maybe you can ask the attendant in advance to be guided by someone that does speak English if you don't understand Spanish.

The English tour was so great! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and she asked us questions to keep us engaged. I really liked the big trees in the palace that Chile gifted to El Salvador. The tour was one of my favorite parts of El Salvador. Thank you!

What a great experience. You can tour the old white house there, they have a nice park with water for kids and mist lines to keep you cool. They have local markets near by you can walk to, there's a lot to do and see. I'm glad we stopped here

Totally worth going !! I wish they had a tour in English. I know the history is rich and would have loved to understand it better. In buying your ticket to enter you are buying entry to a tour. You just can’t wander around yourself. It was a pretty cool historical building and beautiful gardens. The tile floors are really unique.
