The centre's location near Pragati Maidan makes it quite accessible. We went there through auto costs us ₹100. The centre is also very close to the Pragati Maidan Metro Station (Supreme Court stop), which is a great public transport alternative. Ticketing and entry : The entry process was likely smooth, especially on a weekday, as the massive rush is usually seen on weekends. The center is open from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM on all weekdays. The centre has a nominal General Entry fee around ₹80 per head for general visitors and for Pwd visitor entry fee is free. It is always advisable to carry the relevant Disability Certificate or UDID card) for verification at the ticket counter to avail of this concession. The National Science Centre is generally designed to be wheelchair accessible, with ramps and elevators available to navigate the different floors and galleries, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. The Exhibition Galleries: The National Science Centre is famous for its interactive, hands-on exhibits, which make complex scientific principles understandable and fun. The galleries are spread across multiple floors, offering a diverse range of topics: fun science human biology, heritage and Indian ancient technology, Prehistoric life(life size models of dinosaurs and energy balls The interactive nature of the exhibits means you and your friend could test and challenge each other, making the learning process collaborative and entertaining. Facilities and Maintenance Cafeteria: The centre usually has a functional cafeteria or food court. It's essential for a full-day visit, providing snacks and a place to rest. Maintenance: Generally, the centre is well-maintained, though, like any heavily-used public space.

I had an incredible time at the National Science Centre. It is an absolute must-visit for families, students, and anyone with a curious mind. The exhibits are well-maintained and highly interactive, making complex scientific concepts easy to understand and fun to learn. The 'Science on a Sphere' and the Human Biology gallery were personal highlights for me. I was also impressed by how engaging the physics section is—you can easily spend hours here just playing with the hands-on models. The facility is clean, the ticket prices are very reasonable, and it’s a great way to spend a half-day. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic and enriching experience! The National Science Centre is an absolute must-visit place for kids and families. We had a great time exploring everything it had to offer. Knowledge & Fun: There's a brilliant mix of learning, with exhibitions providing great knowledge about Indian culture, history, and engaging science experiment games. Shows: The 3D show about the solar system and nature was a highlight—educational and captivating! Facilities: The cafeteria food was a pleasant surprise—decent taste and the rates are reasonable. Plus, the convenience of parking available within the premises made the visit stress-free. Overall, it's a perfect spot for a day of fun and learning. Highly recommended!

The National Science Centre in Delhi offers an educational and interactive experience, especially suitable for children, with shows like the Dom and hologram shows being enjoyable. However, visitors frequently face challenges such as poor quality food at the cafeteria, and parking is a notable issue due to very limited space and bad facilities, so it is advisable not to go by private car. The parking area accommodates around 30 cars and 30 two-wheelers but is often insufficient and inconvenient. The online ticket booking system is also reported to be inefficient, with better reliability when booking tickets via the DMRC app. Technical issues often cause many planned shows to be canceled, but the Dom and hologram shows are generally good and worth seeing. Overall, while educational value remains intact, the logistical and facility-related problems detract significantly from the visitor experience.

National Science Centre was beyond expectations. A thorough knowledge Centre can be its synonym. We went with kids on Sunday (20/07/25) and we had a very good time enjoying the fun filled activities in between. Unfortunately the tickets for scientific shows were sold out for the day by afternoon itself but we took the entry ticket of Rs 80 per person (kids above 3.5 ft. will be charged) and got to experience the knowledge hub and my personal favorites were the nuclear fusion, the Harrapan culture and the human evolution. School kids should be encouraged to visit this place at least once a year to brush up their knowledge. There is a cafeteria situated in the ground floor, but the items which we had were just and just ok. One can get dosa, samosas, chole bature, sandwiches, burgers, chai, coffee, cool drinks, ice creams etc. Rates were nominal.

Visited on: 20/06/2022 A must-visit educational destination near Pragati Maidan, the "Delhi Science Museum" 🧪🔭 is full of excitement for all age groups 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. The museum features several fascinating sections like Fun Science Gallery 🎯, Human Biology 🧬, Prehistoric Life 🦖, Energy Ball Show ⚡, and 3D Shows 🎥 that bring science to life through fun experiments and interactive displays. The Dinosaur Gallery 🐲 and Space Technology section 🚀 are among the main attractions, loved by students and families alike A special part of the museum is dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel 🕊️, highlighting his life, leadership, and the making of a united India 🇮🇳. The exhibits beautifully showcase his journey as the “Iron Man of India” 🧱, his contribution to national integration, and his role in shaping modern India. The digital presentations 💻, rare photographs 📸, and audio-visual storytelling 🎧 make his legacy come alive. Overall, the National Science Centre is not just a museum but an experience that inspires curiosity, patriotism, and innovation 💡❤️. Clean, well-maintained, and truly worth exploring for both kids and adults 🌍✨

There's a lot of activity going on inside the museum. You'll have a hard time selecting tickets outside the gate. But I suggest you visit the museum first, as it's too big to explore and understand. There are many interesting things too, you will get almost 4 hours just for roaming around, apart from that if you have more time then you can join extra activities.Sometimes it seems that the museum is only this much but you go to the entire floor.

The National Science Centre is a really nice place to visit lots of interesting exhibits and fun things to explore for all ages. However, the 3D movie experience wasn’t that great, and a few displays weren’t working properly. The dinosaur section was quite dark, so it was a bit hard to see everything clearly. Apart from that, the museum is well-maintained and informative. Overall, a good place to spend a few hours learning and exploring science!
