National Trust - Paul McCartney's Childhood House

Well its a basic terraced house but what happened here changed music forever. You need to book a tour which picks you up from Speke Hall and then takes you to each property. You basically get an hour or so being told the story and history of the house by Peter the guide (very knowledgeable) who then gives you a little while to have a look round. Its not the most exciting house I've been to but one of the most interesting. As a member you get reduced entry.

Did the Beatles tour today, despite awful weather and bitter cold it was great. Excellent guide and driver, with loads of fascinating and interesting information about the Fab 4, their families, Stu Sutcliffe and Pete Best.

A holy grail for Beatle fans. We came all the way from Australia on a Beatles pilgrimage and this was the finale. Worth all the effort. The young fan who jumped on the piano and did her very best to play Let It Be while we sang along was incredible.

Paul McCartney childhood home , from humble beginnings, really surprising when you realise where the fab four started from and where they ended up, highly recommend you visit George Harrison childhood home at 12 Arnold Grove, Liverpool L15 8HP, there is a chain across the road, it shouldn't be there and they've actually stopping right of access, under the chaim and take pictures, simple as that , 🙂

It's better to visit the terraced house via The Beatles tour to learn more but you can easily see the front of McCartney's house and info board on your own too.

This tour is an absolute must for all Beatle fans lovingly restored to perfection with original windows, doors, fittings. 1950s furniture perfectly sourced.

It was great to see where the talent started as a little boy in Liverpool. A must see tour of a Beatles fan.
