Gourmet experiences in Adelaide for wine and chocolate lovers - SilverKris

"A destination for sampling some of the country’s best pours, with a rotating list of about 120 wines that ranges from celebrated labels like Penfolds Grange to boutique producers. The tasting experience is enhanced by state-of-the-art Enomatic wine preservation and dispensing machines, and the on-site cellar door pairs tastings with tapas-style dishes made from fresh, seasonal ingredients." - SilverKris

Free entry to space but must book tour to see cellar. Self-guided tour possible without cellar entry. Lovely walk around. Great tasting options at Wined. Self-guided tasting or wine flights possible, lovely charcuterie board. Pretty much caters for everyone, wine lover, newbies, hungry people, snacky people and much more. great day out

The Adelaide Botanic Garden is a very beautiful, pleasant and peaceful place to spend a morning or afternoon. You can pass your leisure time there by walking around the various corners of the garden. Or you can just simply enjoy your cup of coffee and delicious cheese cake at the restaurant next to the small lake.

We had our wedding at the Wine Centre and it was so special and amazing! We truly couldn’t have done it without the incredible team but specifically Megan, she was absolutely incredible, from making sure everything ran smoothly to making our room look so beautiful, she was amazing to have during the planning process and is incredible at her job! The staff were outstanding, they went above and beyond, always checking in on us during the night! The food was absolutely delicious, we have been married for 10 months and our guests still tell us how much they loved the food and how catering the staff were! We honestly can’t thank the Wine Centre team enough for making our day so beautiful, seamless, and unforgettable. We highly recommend to anyone considering this venue for their wedding!🤍

Had a 90-minute wine masterclass here hosted by an experienced sommelier who navigated me through the Australian wine history, followed by a well-narrated wine tasting of his selection and food pairing options.

Lunch Experience Nothing to cry home about. OK at its peak I guess. Service very hit and miss. Stood at the entrance 2/4 minutes Then had to interrupt a server, hoping it was not going to disrupt his ignoring us. “Sit where ever”…. Came back with the menus “let me know when you’re ready to order” ….. tried getting attention at least 4 times, then did the ship wave to signal one down. The other 3 seemed more interested is yesterday “gossip girl” Wine and drinks arrived. Ordered a bottle 2021 What ever could not read the writing had Shiraz at the end. No tasting straight pour found that a bit amusing…. Wine Center and all. Poured the 2 other glass my self waiting for our food. Fish of the day, not recommended had to ask.The tiniest piece of mullet with a mile long piece of fennel. So Fennel root was the dish garnished with 50grams of fish!!! 18 hours slow cooked brisket….. hmmmmm dry dry dry ….. it’s definitely cooked for 18 hours for sure. If you banned it on the wall it would have returned back no worries. $140/- bucks later nothing that would wow a experience that’s anywhere close to the National Wine Center of South Australia. At best an average rating….

My partner & I went for lunch, we had the the 4 course lunch with a wine pairing. We absolutely loved the entire experience, delicious food and the wine was paired perfectly. All the staff were very friendly with a special shout out to Fernando who was very knowledgeable with his wine & an all round nice bloke. Highly recommend!!!

It’s an astonishing exhibition of wine bottles. To be specific, there are 120 wines stored. Plus a relaxing atmosphere that people can really enjoy themselves. On the second floor, people can learn about the history and background of wine making as well as smell their unique fragrances.
