Gourmet experiences in Adelaide for wine and chocolate lovers - SilverKris

"A destination for sampling some of the country’s best pours, with a rotating list of about 120 wines that ranges from celebrated labels like Penfolds Grange to boutique producers. The tasting experience is enhanced by state-of-the-art Enomatic wine preservation and dispensing machines, and the on-site cellar door pairs tastings with tapas-style dishes made from fresh, seasonal ingredients." - SilverKris

I visited Adelaide Botanic Garden yesterday and passed-by this National Wine Centre of Australia (NWC). This is a great facility. With a cafe, wine tasting facility and function rooms and big event hall etc. There were several wedding ceremonies held on the lawns of Adelaide Botanic Garden yesterday, I wondered one of the group would probably come to this beautiful big event hall to have a wedding banquet. I didn't stay long in this NWC yesterday. I would definitely do a formal visit next time and will try their cafe and wine tasting facility.

Lovely & modern venue. Impressive. Also, A venue with conference rooms, wine cellar, small art gallery with lovely artwork of flowers and natives. A cafe with friendly staff and well made cappuccinos served by a friendly guy.

Free entry to space but must book tour to see cellar. Self-guided tour possible without cellar entry. Lovely walk around. Great tasting options at Wined. Self-guided tasting or wine flights possible, lovely charcuterie board. Pretty much caters for everyone, wine lover, newbies, hungry people, snacky people and much more. great day out

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here after expecting a simple kiosk while wandering the gardens. Gnocci was amazing, wine lovely. I didn't do tasting, but what a spot to sample Aussie wines! Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Sensational place to spend an afternoon enjoying some of the wide variety of wine available from Australia's numerous wine regions. We undertook the paired luncheon, with carefully sellected wines matched to deliciously prepared local dishes. I would also recommend their cellar tour, showcasing the huge array of wines stored in the subterranean cellar in the centre of the facility. The team were extremely friendly with an excellent with an expansive knowledge of the local wines and meticulously prepared three course luncheon dishes, finished off with a coffee. Parking in available immediately outside and not expensive, although can become busy at time. Access to the family is excellent and suitable for mobility paired.

The Adelaide Botanic Garden is a very beautiful, pleasant and peaceful place to spend a morning or afternoon. You can pass your leisure time there by walking around the various corners of the garden. Or you can just simply enjoy your cup of coffee and delicious cheese cake at the restaurant next to the small lake.

Just had the 4 course degustation. It was one of the best meals we have ever had! Each course was paired with an appropriate wine. Fernando was excellent, very knowledgable about the wines and their flavors and origins. A must do
