National Yo-Yo Museum

Visited September 26th to the museum. Its located in Chico California. Its in the back of the shop called "Bird in Hand" toy shop. The yo you museum is impressive with some really special memorabilia! Love the largest yo yo on display! What I didn't like is the store is taking up their memorabilia and making it crowded for the their own storage. I love all the yo yos! Be a kid again!

We saw this museum on the attractions to see in my Google app, and it did not disappoint. We met Bob, he was very helpful and knowledgeable about Yo-yos, come to find out, he was the owner of the store and museum. We also found out he is the founder of the National Yo-Yo Competition and holds training classes on Yo-Yo tricks for beginners. This is a great way to spend some time learning about a favorite pastime, and an added bonus is seeing the world's Biggest Working Wooden Yo-Yo.

It's full of things to see and I recommend it, but there's also a toy store, so it's dangerous for parents' wallets hahahaha

An amazing collection that will take you down memory lane! The yo-yo museum is a great place to learn about the history of the yo-yo. Every Saturday the staff holds a yo-yo education class where they will teach you tricks. The museum also has A trophy case that honors some of the best mastery yo-yo competitors. It’s really fun to learn about the advancement of yo-yos overtime. The owner and his staff are very knowledgeable and more than willing to have long conversations about yo-yos with you. The museum is also conveniently located in a pretty amazing toy store. I highly recommend stopping in!

Small but mighty! Lots of yo-yos and history packed into a small space at the back of Bird In Hand store. Very entertaining for the yo-yo enthusiast. Plus it's free!

Definitely check this place out if you like Yo-Yos! If Bob is there he will educate you on the Yo-Yo.

If you are looking for Yo-Yo's , you've come to the right place. They have the biggest working Yo-yo you will ever see and a great little museum of Yo-yo's.

They had a lot of yoyo selections and was very knowledgeable ended up spending more than I wanted to because they have great stuff there we will be back
