"Manchester’s industrial heritage isn’t just historically significant, it’s picturesque as well — witness the Grade II listed Victorian warehouse that’s now home to the apartment-style Native Manchester hotel. The antique red brick is complemented by Conran-designed modern furniture and thoughtful comforts like full modern kitchens. Meanwhile the public spaces include everything from a lounge, bar, and terrace to a restaurant that specializes in shareable modern British fare; the nightlife, in true Manchester tradition, is nothing if not lively." - Tablet Hotels

Excellent base if you are planning to explore Manchester. We have stayed at Native a couple of times and the rooms are always spacious and beds are comfortable. You are a short walk from the ‘Northern Quarter’ and close to tram, train and bus network which gives you access to every part of this great city.

Fabulous place. Staff very warm and welcoming. Particular praise for Sam who sorted out an issue with our food - thank you. Booked 1 bed apartment were upgraded to top floor 2 bed apartment which was very spacious and had everything you could need. Bathrooms great (one has watermarks on ceiling - might want to investigate). Really enjoyed our stay and when next in Manchester we will stay again. Thanks for a great and memorable stay.

Although our 2 bed duplex apartment wasn’t quite ready (due to the previous guests late departure) the team at Native offered free drinks and friendly and warm hospitality whilst we waited. The night team were equally friendly when we return back later that evening - we have stayed before and will definitely come back when visiting Manchester

Location is excellent- right next to Piccadilly station. The room was very tasteful, retaining just the right amount of period features. The staff were fantastic and let us check in a little early. The kitchenette is a very helpful addition to the room. We really liked the mattress, firm but incredibly comfortable. Overall, a great stay.

Very disappointed. For some odd reason, the very warm hotel rooms don't have air conditioning installed, instead opting for an overhead fan. We didn't sleep at all in the stifling heat. Add to that the rough sheets, seemingly paper thin ceilings/walls where you can hear every movement, no TV signal, and the very prison-like layout where the only windows look out onto other rooms—the whole experience just made us feel like we were paying for a hellish student experience at a 4-star hotel price point. Approach with caution.

Great space. Staff are really helpful and friendly. The blackout curtain in the bedroom leaked light round it during the night and staff fixed it immediately for us. The apartments are quite dark - fashionably low-lighting - and could do with some brighter bulbs in areas like the bathroom or bedroom to be able to see into the dark wardrobe. Shame the water went off one evening for maintenance - reception staff were helpful with complimentary bottles at the ready. Perhaps a note on the WhatsApp to warn of this happening would have been good? We would stay again and it’s great value for money but would long for a little more light next time please. Thanks so much.

Great place to stay. Room clean and well presented, comfy bed. Great atmosphere in the lobby and chill out area. Standout was the service though, particularly Emma at reception who was fantastic and so helpful, will absolutely be booking again when I'm in Manchester. Also really easy access to the canals, short walk to the train station and really close to town.
