Just visited here yesterday, it was the second time I've been to this church, last time was actually on Christmas day two years ago. To me, this might be the most beautiful church I've ever been inside of. The stained glass windows, the woodwork, the paint, the attention to detail is simply mind boggling. These churches are in small, rural towns populated by German and Czech immigrants and of course, these are Catholic churches. I was amazed too that this church was left unlocked, but someone else mentioned they do have this one being monitored by camera, I've visited two other of these painted churches, and this is the only one that has a camera in it. We drove from San Antonio, it's about an hour and a half drive, well worth it! Need to explore and visit some other churches in the area and hit up the Shiner Brewery which is not too far away, an alter of another variety there!
