Avoid at all costs — an appalling experience
I stayed at Nativo Hotel Ibiza for three nights as part of a wedding group, and the experience was nothing short of unacceptable.
Upon arrival, we were given a dark, airless room with no proper window, only a skylight that didn’t work. Either we were woken up at sunrise with blinding light and no way to block it, or, after a failed technician visit, the hotel’s “solution” was to tape a piece of cardboard over it, leaving us in pitch darkness all day.
When we asked to change rooms, we were told the hotel was fully booked. Yet, rooms of the same category were still available online — a blatant lie and a clear case of misrepresentation.
To make matters worse, the floor was dirty with sand when we arrived, the shower didn’t drain properly, towels weren’t replaced, and every request was met with complete indifference. When we asked for a minimal gesture of goodwill at checkout — to cover a €40 bar bill — we were told “the manager was off duty” and nothing could be done.
I’ve since sent a formal email asking for compensation. Weeks later: no response whatsoever. This isn’t just bad service — it’s utter contempt for guests.
For a hotel that markets itself as high-end, this place is a total disgrace. Deceptive, dirty, and completely mismanaged. There are countless wonderful hotels in Ibiza — do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else but here.
