Great for party. They can accommodate different room depends on numbers of guest. It's a family plate style. Almost feel like buffet. Parking is like $6 valet only but they have small parking lot, so limited space. So it's better to arrive early . The food is great for the most! I wish karaage was more tender. They allow byob and pupus, and desert to bring Thank you natsunoya for not closing after fire incidents because me and my families, all enjoy coming here.

Google
Attended my 40th year Class Reunion and learned that there were 5 other events so a total of 6 celebrations all going on simultaneously. Amazing valet service, to workers in the tea house were all amazing, courteous and extremely helpful! Had an amazing time... Mahalo Natsunoya Tea House for a memorable night!

Second time to the sushi bar. Nice quaint, very good sushi.

Access is great for elderly and handicap. Great job rebuilding after the fire. You cannot tell the difference. Food yummy and a lot on buffet selection.

Google
Great place to have a party, the location is Central to the island, parking is done by valet because the lot is tiny. A few rooms that can be configured for small and large parties. There service is good and when we needed time for our program they left us alone. Food is typical local Hawaii food and makes it unique for you to be formal or as informal as you need. I can't wait until we have another event there.

Google
We had a birthday celebration here. The venue was great and the food and service excellent.

Yelp
Natsunoya Tea House has been a staple for our family celebrations. This time we were here for my Nieces First Birthday. We arrived at 10am to set up in one of the smaller rooms. They have valet parking for $8 at the time of writing this, or you can find street parking but there isn't much. We asked our server to bring our lunch in at 11 am and they were very prompt. Salads came first, then the rest of the food pretty much came out all at once. Salads 8/10. Your typical mixed greens. One had salmon and the other had mandarins. Great way to start the lunch. Agedashi Tofu 8/10. Flavorful dashi and well cooked tofu. Fried Noodles 7/10. Noodles were the usual local style fried noodles Garlic Chicken and Teri Beef 9/10. My favorite two dishes!! Forgot to take a pictures of the teri beef. Eggplant 8/10 loved the eggplant and sauce that was drizzled all over.

Yelp
Five stars. Highly recommend. The food is excellent! Can't find many local Japanese food places like this anymore. It's of the Kabuki, Suehiro's old school variety that's just hands down winners! You just gotta go here to experience it yourself. Service is always great. Attentive and hardworking employees. By the way, the valet parking is $8.00, so bring cash. The ambiance is relaxed and old school Japanese restaurant style. Really great.

Yelp
Catering order was so good! They are easy to work with and took my order a few weeks in advance from event date. I wish they gave an invoice when we ordered but they ended up just taking my credit card and using it to charge on the day of the event. We ordered sushi service with catering trays of the karaage chicken, teriyaki steak, and salmon tofu salad. The catering menu is affordable for most items. They included delivery for our catering order with the sushi service which was nice and they provide the set up with chafing dishes/heating supplies, plates, etc. The teriyaki steak was sooo good - it went so fast and I wish I could have eaten more! After our event, many people asked where the food was from. I thought their portions were on the more generous side and wasn't skimpy at all. Their sushi service is $20 per person and they are also very generous with that. We had more than enough for our party and the sushi chef did stay later than promised to finish making all the sushi. He brought mostly everything himself, we just needed to set up a table for him. The service included ahi, salmon, hamachi, soft shell crab, california roll, spicy ahi, and ikura! They were missing a few items listed on the website but the spread was really good still considering the price. One minor issue is that we did have a mix up with the invoice cost - I was overcharged $400 initially but they were easy to work with and fix the charge and sent a refund. A reminder to double check your bill! Other than that, the food and delivery went smoothly and service was very nice.

Yelp
I have never been disappointed with this place. Food is always ono and reasonably priced for group gatherings.

Yelp
I love Natsunoya Tea House. I had my daughter's first birthday here! This time we celebrated my sister's mother- and father-in-law's 70th birthday! It was a fun filled celebration with delicious food and karaoke music & dancing. We had shrimp and eggplant tempura, hibachi chicken, teriyaki steak, assorted sushi rice, oriental salad, tonkatsu, noodles, agedashi (tofu) with shiitake mushrooms and potato salad. Everything was super yummy!!! My favorite is their teriyaki steak, shrimp tempura and agedashi (tofu) with shiitake mushrooms! It melts in your mouth and flavors is just so delicious!!! I'm still thinking about the bursting flavors from that Sunday night! I love the concept of having your shoes, slippers or sandals removed. It helps keep the place clean and it feels warm & cozy. It almost feels like you're at home. The staff are friendly especially the guy! I didn't get his name but he was nice and wore a smile throughout the event. I love their uniform. I don't know if it's comfortable but it's a nice touch! Natsunoya Tea House will always be one of my favorite Japanese restaurant/tea house to go to! The desserts are from the host of the party. They made it themselves! Super yummm too!!!

Brenda L.

Yelp
First time going to Natsunoya Tea House for my sisters graduation party and loved it!! We called ahead to get one of the banquet rooms and ordered the J menu. The food came out on time and was so delicious. The employee that helped us was Austin and he was soooo nice, friendly, and efficient! Austin seriously made our whole experience great! I can't wait to come here again and plan future dinner parties here!

Nathalie K.

Yelp
First time attending New Hope Na Kupunas ministry. Today we were served Natsunoyas bento. It was great! Thank you Natsunoya I had not eaten your style of Gobo in a long time! Outstanding! Everyone enjoyed it. Happy Holidays

Charlyn I.

Yelp
Chef Sho I experienced my 1st omakase at Natsunoya Tea House and it was amazing! Variety and specialty sushi at its best! Service was good and we were treated like royalty! We also had Agedashi tofu, hamachi Kama, tempura, karaage chicken and more! Party of 5 practically rolled out of there, sooo full! Such a beautiful tea house and we even heard the story of the spy who lived upstairs and left the telescope after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The telescope is on display in the sushi bar.

Kimberly X.

Yelp
Came here twice. Both occasions were wonderful. Small party (bridal shower) to big party (birthday) food, service and interior was all great!

Yelp
5 star review on Natsunoya Tea House . I host my family Christmas Party here this past Sunday and it was a hit. First of all I wanted to say the service here was excellent if you're planning a banquet party here . Once I got there to set up I had a lots of gifts and coolers, boxes to bring upstairs. The staff helped carry all my things for me which was awesome. The food was excellent I ordered the Buffett banquet menu and there was a lot of food and very delicious. The view is amazing you have a Birds Eye view of Sand island towards the airport area. The room I rented is upstairs and it could probably hold about 30-50 guest . If your planning any party I highly recommend this place but you need book at least 1 year in advance because there very busy Thanks Natsunoya for your great customer service. Support local

Gabriel P.

Yelp
Excellent service and good food. Thanks to Craig T. for having the family Christmas Party at Natsunoya Tea House. Upon arrival, we valeted our car. They were patient while I unloaded our gifts. Pulled the wagon full of presents through the front door. We were cordially greeted and asked if I wanted assistance with the gifts to the second floor banquet room. Wow, great service. Highly recommend this venue for parties or other get togethers. Enjoy.

Yelp
Within Natsunoya tea house is a wonder sushi bar that seats 16, so reservations are almost a must for popular times. They currently are open at 4pm- 9pm Wednesday thru Saturday. With ample free on site parking for sushi bar, or Valet parking ($8) for the Tea House events. What an amazing selection of sushi chosen by Chef Sho-San. Today, my experience of (Omakase) sushi ($60) included 16 pcs of sushi with such amazing textures and flavors. Thank you for a wonderful experience. If you have the opportunity to visit, Natsunoya teahouse's sushi bar this is a must do. Please be aware they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Casual attire ok.

Yelp
I recently went to a Buddhist funeral ceremony. After the loving ceremony we all went to the Mililani Mauka Chapel dining room. We had a very delicious bento from Natsunoya Tea House! It included rice with misoyaki butterfish, barbecue chicken, and shrimp tempura! It was so delicious! In between each entree were wonderful surprises of taste! Kinpira gobo, pickled daikon and my favorite Okinawan sweet potato! One round veggie that I'm guessing is eggplant had an amazing taste! Although I was sad that i had gone to a funeral, this bento was wonderful! Natsunoya Tea House delivers and their bentos are amazing!

Max F.

Yelp
I went for my uncle's birthday last year before he passed away earlier this year. If I need to host a party with a large venue I'd choose here. I like the food. It's great.

Jeanette E.

Yelp
This place never disappoints! In this review, I was actually holding and hosting the party, so not just a guest. The staff was easy to work with and very helpful. They made me feel welcomed and my guests all had a great time. All the food is amazing and delicious!! There is no corkage fee and this is a BYOB. I brought in a cooler and they also accommodated us with wine buckets. I brought my own ice for the cooler. Our party was in the Ichigo room. It's easy to access on the 2nd floor. This room has the Diamond Head view and accommodates 10 people. There are 2 tables and they provide white table cloths. I brought my own table covers for the water/drink station and the gift table. Love this place! Will definitely hold more events here.

Ashley O.

Yelp
Really yummy bentos! We love ordering bentos from here but they are quite pricey. For the bentos you have to order at least 10 of the same bento. The tempura is so good and crispy. Usually when you get tempura in a bento it gets soggy and soft but I like how theirs stay crispy. You get a lot of variety in this bento and it's good quality just a little on the pricier side.

Yelp
We had a rehearsal dinner at the Tea House and it was perfect for our party. The food came out and all 35 guests were having an enjoyable meal. The services were great and flexible with us on arranging the room for wines and beer. The Tea House does not provide alochol, so you can bring your own drinks. They do provide fruit punch, tea and coffee I believe. I would recommend this place for gathering to celebrate a special occasion. Parking could be challenging in this area, but there is valet parking.

Joy N.

Yelp
We hosted my daughter's 1st birthday party here and all the guests could not stop talking about how good the food was. That's definitely the highlight when hosting a party here. Prices are still reasonable for lunch and the service is great! The set up/breakup time is a bit short, but they try to work with you as best as possible. Loved the bottom stage room as it was easily accessible for our guests and just the right size for our party, which had about 125 guests. I've also had events in the back cottage, which is perfect for smaller groups and has its own bathroom so you can stay in the back cottage the entire time! Note, valet parking only. Definitely would host another party at Natsunoya again!

Kat K.

Yelp
Natsunoya is a great choice for any occasion. We recently had our company Christmas party there and everyone had a blast. Thanks to Mat and the rest of the staff, everything ran smoothly. The food was great as usual. I usually don't like teriyaki steak but it was cooked perfectly medium rare and tasted ono. I appreciate them for upkeeping this beautiful tea house so future generations are able to aspire to uphold honored traditions, Mahalo!

Brian K.

Yelp
We are so happy we were able to host our Rehearsal Dinner at Natsunoya Tea House. They recently had a fire and were under construction for the last few months, and luckily the construction was completed before our reservation. We are so grateful to all the staff for the great communication and for accommodating us. This was my first time eating here and I was very impressed. It is located in a residential neighborhood so the parking is a little limited- you can park in the lot, find street parking, or valet park. The views from the restaurant are also incredible! Traditional Japanese style restaurant where you take off your shoes before eating. We booked the Garden Room and hosted 24 adults + 1 kid. We did the buffet style Menu B option and the food was amazing! Buffet style was nice so everyone can try all the food options or get plenty to eat. Most people went back for seconds and there were plenty of leftovers. Our favorite dishes were the Teriyaki Steak, Steamed Fish (so good), spicy Nasubi (eggplant was so flavorful!), and the Salmon tofu salad (with wasabi dressing- yum)! The fried chicken was a little dry/overcooked for me. We also appreciated that we could byob (no corkage fee) and bring our own pupus/desserts. We had some chocolate haupia pies for dessert that they refrigerated for us. They also gave us an ice bucket to chill the drinks we brought. Since we were visiting from the Bay Area the ease and convenience of not having to bring all the different items to host a dinner was a huge help. Thank you Natsunoya for the amazing service and delicious food! For the price, service, food, and ambiance I would give a 10/10 and would recommend!

Cathy S.

Yelp
We attended a family reunion here with our own private room, catered meal, and valet parking. It seems like this is the place for large celebrations since there were multiple events going on at the same time. The staff looked beautiful and professional in their uniforms and kimonos and provided friendly and efficient service. The highlight is for sure the food - everything was ono and freshly prepared with a lovely presentation. I am still thinking about that umami melt-in-your-mouth steak 2 weeks after the event!!

Deborah P.

Yelp
Had our family Christmas party over here. Thank you to my brother Craig T. and he's wife for making this event a memorable one. The staff at the tea house was excellent from their valet service to the staff who help us carried all our gifts and bags upstairs. The food was good very tasty. Sorry no pictures but only my plate. Haha. Support the tea house when you're celebrating any kind of occasion

Lili S.

Yelp
Delicious food! Nice room! I love the outdoor area as well. My favorite bites were the tempura shrimp- so fresh and nice crunchy, yummy batter! And the steak was so tender and delicious! I was sad when I got full because I wanted to keep eating all of the delicious food! I definitely recommend this place. Service was also very warm and accommodating.

Allen N.

Yelp
After many years in business, Natsunoya Tea House continues to deliver solid all around performance in both food and service. I was fortunate to experience multiple dinners over the course of two months and both experiences did not disappoint. Keep up the great job!

Titi R.

Yelp
Haven't been to this place in 10 years and the food and service were excellent. We decided to have our division Christmas Party here and best choice. The room we had accommodated our 70 person guest list. The room was well prepared, they provided a sound system for us. The atmosphere here is really nice a great ambiance a d the view was great as the clouds and rain rolled in. Great place and the food was excellent

Val S.

Yelp
Had a work holiday luncheon at the stage section of Natsunoya. We chose menu F from the banquet menu. It comes with white rice, oriental salad, hibachi chicken, agedashi tofu, shrimp and vegetable tempura, teriyaki beef, noodles, potato salad and fresh fruits. The food was delicious with lots of flavor. The service but the staff was exceptional. Austin helped us a lot and he was very friendly and exemplified great customer service. I think is one of the last tea houses left on Oahu and I always enjoy going there.

Mary E.

Yelp
7/23/23 I was very impressed with the quality of the food and efficiency of the staff. We attended a bridal shower held in one of the smaller rooms. It had its own restroom with sink and also another sink near the buffet station. First of all, it's valet parking only ($6). However there are a few spots for street parking. Just make sure you aren't blocking anyone's driveway and that your car is parked completely on the side since the road is narrow and curves. I haven't been to Japan but everything here looks authentic. From the decor, the female workers dressed in kimono's, removing your shoes, etc. The food...everything tasted delicious! They brought the food and lighted to burners just at the right time when our party was ready to eat. Everything had so much flavor. The tempura wasn't oily. The salads were so refreshing and light. My faves were the noodles, agedashi tofu, Kalbi (so juicy and tender) and tempura. My least favorite was the chicken karaage only because it was slightly dry. The others on my table agreed. We had a party of about 30 people. There were left overs and the male server came in when it looked like everyone was just about done eating, and asked if he can pack the food away. The way he laid out all the little takeout boxes and was able to portion everything out evenly was amazing. We noticed that none of the take out had Mac salad. Maybe they didn't pack that in case it got spoiled since it needed to stay chilled? I wish we could've gotten that packed up though. The servers also were attentive when coming in to clear all the plates. They seem to have everything timed precisely. There's different price options to reserve a party here. Obviously dinner will cost more. It was my first time here, but since I enjoyed myself so much I will keep this place in mind in case I need a venue for a small party in the future. FYI- I ate my leftovers for lunch and everything still tasted great!

Micah G.

Yelp
I never knew this place existed until today. Wow! I was full on expecting to head back on the freeway into town but I literally live right down the street! LOL! I was so confused it was taking me through the residentials but this place is perfect!!!! First off parking - I was trying to search the reviews for this because parking can make or break me wanting to go! It's $6 valet but I'm not sure if it's cash only. I didn't have cash so we pulled some out just in case. Lucky for us, there was parking on the streets, which can be a bit scary because it's along a turn and a hill so you have to be careful. I went with a big group of friends for a surprise baby shower and I was not expecting the views from this place!!! I looked up the place before work and noticed they were closed but my friend said it's when they take the private parties. So we went in, found the room, and you have to take your slippers off. They have a shoe rack for all their guests to put their shoes. It's not a formal place, you can definitely dress down. Also, I thought we where going to have a menu to choose from but nooooo, it's group thing. So it's what they're serving that day which is cool! Everything tasted soooo good except for the tofu mushroom thing, that wasn't a fave. Everything else was bomb!! It starts with miso soup, of course, super good. Then we had some rolls. Not sure what it was called but had some ahi in the middle. Then the meals started coming out. There was tonkatsu, shrimp tempura, rice, this eggplant dish, the mushroom dish, salad (even the salad was super bommmb), garlic chicken I think and the steak wow! Sooooo good, by the second main dish I was stuffed!!!! Would I come back? Heck yes! One of our servers was dressed in a kimono which is so cool! Isaac was a great server and we also had another one. I cant recall his name but they were all so nice and great! Definitely recommend coming here! 10/10!!

Debbie K.

Yelp
Haven't been here in years and it is just as I remembered, when I used to come here for family celebrations as a kid. Hidden in a residential neighborhood right above Kalihi, no parking so they have valet, I think it was $6. Came here for a birthday celebration and we headed to the back of the property where it looks like they built a separate room to accommodate smaller get togethers of 20-30 people maybe. It was air-conditioned, remove your shoes at the door and it had its own bathroom. The food was just as I remembered, DELICIOUS! Flavorful Japanese food. Shrimp tempura, Teri chicken, fried noodles, asst. sushi, steak, I can't remember everything but it was ONO! Will definitely have to come back to check out the sushi bar.

Lisa T.

Yelp
Came back for Saturday Christmas party dinner. Haven't been here for many years. Food has been always good quality. Menu: Spicy eggplant, not spicy at all Miso soup Garlic chicken Toss salad with dressing Rice Tonkatsu with sauce Shrimp and vegetable tempura with sauce Grilled salmon Grilled steak Spicy tuna sushi Everything was good Take out containers were provided I really enjoyed it. Note: valet parking is $6 Go early, as lot fills up. Also, shoes need to be removed near front door. Good to bring socks to walk on hard floor.

AlanaBrooks T.

Yelp
Great place to celebrate and have gatherings/parties. This would be my 4th time coming here. Have been here for holiday get togethers and most recently a babyshower. They have different rooms that can hold so many people depending on how big of your gathering will be. The food is wonderful! Like really delicious most especially Japanese buffet style. They even pack up the left overs for you at the end! I highly recommend this place to have large gatherings and parties!

L J.

Yelp
Absolutely!!! The entire staff was extremely helpful when I was planning my mom's birthday. They accommodated & helped me with suggestions. Their support was outstanding! Our entire families & guests raved about the food. I could go on & on but most of all, for me, they made me comfortable & relieved my stress.

Michelle I.

Yelp
Great service, delicious and fresh food. Ate with friends at the sushi bar. We ordered the Omakase. If I remember correctly, it was only $65 for 14 pieces of chefs choice nigiri. Sushi Chef was so sweet and easy to talk to. Great experience. This place is BYOB! No bottle or cork fee!!!! Parking lot is in the front. Very cute traditional Japanese architecture. I recommend calling and making reservations if you want to eat at the sushi bar.

Lahela G.

Yelp
Everything if you appreciate the art of food and Japanese food at that. My favorite was the Salmon, wagyu steak , and shrimp tempura . Those were perfect for me. I was hesitant on the sushi cause look like dust of buds on the top lol but I enjoyed that after one bite after another. The food is excellent!

Sherene H.

Yelp
I came here with my boyfriend to eat at the sushi counter which was such a deal! It's only $55? For 10-12 pieces of nigiri. Plus it's byob. You need to make reservations since it's only about 10 seats. This time we just got sashimi, one omakase set, and a bunch of sides. Then more nigiri of our choice. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. The omakase was also really good. The ikura was disappointing though and the wagyu could've been better. Also the garlic ahi isn't garlic. It's actually ginger, so beware. The karaage is delicious and so is the grilled shrimp! Regardless of some little disappointments, for the price point and fish it is totally worth it! I'd definitely come back! I want to get my own omakase next time :)

Michelle C.

Yelp
This is the best venue for large private parties if you love Japanese food. For the last two years, we have booked a room to celebrate my sons birthdays. I usually will book it 4-6 months in advance since his birthday is close to graduation season. This will be a review on my most recent visit. We celebrated my sons second birthday with just my immediate family. We booked one of the smaller rooms that can fit 20 people. Reservations were easy to make and once we got there everything was set up. The food was good as usual. My favorites are the spicy nasubi, karaage chicken and shrimp and vegetable tempura. Service is always amazing here. The girl who took care of us this time was really good. I will definitely continue to book every year for my sons birthday.

Jaymie H.

Yelp
Visited Natsunoya Tea House for the first time for a holiday party this past Christmas and I'm already craving the amazing butterfish and teri steak! I did feel a little bad because the tea house is situated in a residential neighborhood and I'm sure the neighbors could hear everyone laughing and talking. Not the best parking situation (small lot and street parking) but we used the valet service and they were quick and professional. Beautiful views! Delicious food! Friendly and personable staff! I will definitely be back!

Sharon S.

Yelp
Now I know why my husband won't eat sushi on the mainland! This was our first visit to Natsunoya and our first time having omakase. We ordered the sashimi and sushi omakase plus chicken karaage and Hamachi Kama. The karaage pieces were pretty big, not too fried and pretty meaty. The hamachi was quite large and fresh and tasty. The sashimi was so fresh-it melted in your mouth with a buttery feel. It was a fun experience, not knowing what was coming next! We had a 5pm reservation and got there a little early. We were alone until just about when we were finishing up. Parking is free if you eat at the sushi bar. Normally $8. Their website is not up to date and pretty confusing. They only do banquets and sushi bar. At the sushi bar you can order pieces or omakase. We got 16 pieces in the sushi omakase. And there is a small menu you can order from the kitchen. They are closed on Sunday and Mondays. Service was excellent. Thank you for a fun dinner!

Mili-Lani D.

Yelp
If I could I would give this place a hundred stars. I went here for a class reunion. First off the parking lot is small so one must valet unless you park in the neighborhood somewhere. Our cost was $6 plus tips so it's not a lot of money. Of course the view here is gorgeous and I like how in our room they had put a picture of our high school's front campus. What made this a wonderful surprise was their food is truly like how we had it in the sixties and seventies. It was so good that I had a huge party in my mouth that night. I'm not going to list all the items they had but the things that stood out. They had the best belly pork in shoyu sugar sauce and that thing just melted in my mouth. The next was the fried tofu in a sauce . There was shrimp tempura but I'm allergic. They had a great spaghetti mac salad and it was a dry one so it was really good. I hate those with the sloppy mayonnaise. There was a big platter of various types of sushi. The quality of the food I cannot rant enough about. I would gladly crash a party there to eat that food again. In my quest for the food of my childhood I have found the last bastion of it. It has stuck to the true Japanese-American flavors. The issue I have with today's food is that it is too sugary and the recipes have changed drastically. Even a simple beef stew that is not sugar-filled is hard to find. I love that Natsunoya has kept unchanged what Japanese American food originally tasted like. I think they found something that works great and stuck to it. The only sad thing is that it is a banquet hall and not a restaurant. It seems that covid was a rough time for them as any restaurant business at that time, especially one that is catered just for parties. The hall is simple but clean and very spacious. Shoes are taken off at the entrance. It's not the fancy ballrooms of hotels but it's not ghetto either. As for the staff it was a buffet so they only really bought out the foods to the buffet line. Ours was a BYOB affair. I believe there was another party going on so they must have big rooms to accommodate them. If you're going to Natsunoya please feel free to invite me and I will pay you to go. LOL

Daniel K.

Yelp
I would highly recommend trying out their sushi bar. It's BYOB and a reservation is a must. -Highly recommend the omakase option and order appetizers on the side. -Don't forget BYOB. -The course took about an hour and each piece of sushi was excellent.

Yelp
We just had a luncheon earlier this month. Great place food is awesome and just the rich history behind this tea house. Luncheon was small only 18 adults Hachigo room- perfect setting this room is way in the back with a few stairs going down (about 4 by the kitchen) then 2 more sets going a little further. The room was set up with 2 6ft. Tables on each side and then 2 in the front for gifts/pupus and the water jug. Kinda on the cold side but not a bother. The room also had a flat screen TV on the wall. Food- excellent nothing to grumble about all well made. The food was served family style(Chinese style)each dish was on its own plate so basically we had 4 of each item. We didn't have to leave our seat everything was right in front of us! Service- I will have to say that's where I had take away a . Our host was not the friendliest. It seemed like she was having a bad day or just not happy being our server ‍. Parking- is all valet $8.00 a car. Awesome service although it does get full. Best to arrive early or best is to carpool. When booking the reservations not a problem at all. I emailed my date I had in mind and the response was fairly quick. I am not sure how early you can reserve a date but I do know I reserved/confirmed my date back in November. Great place awesome food!

Yelp
Great venue for family events. We were invited to a baby shower and had such a great time. Great service and excellent food. The view made it even more special. I hope I come back on another occasion.

Yelp
Where locals party. Like an OG speakeasy, Natsunoya does it plain sight in the hills of Honolulu. All your local favorites tweaked to a higher standard in a local-style celebration house. They've been doing it for awhile and they continue to do so. Valet parking, BYOB, kimono-clad hostesses and various sized party rooms.

Yelp
We hosted a graduation party here and I couldn't be happier. Service was top notch, food was incredible, and room was perfect. Many compliments from guests on the food overall. Nice to have a room with AC. It was a nice added touch to see staff in kimonos. Prices were so reasonable based on the quality of the food and facility. Thank you very much!

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been here. Everything is opening up again after ending the restricted mandate. Parking lot was full but now has valet service. Nice place to have a party. You can hire outside vendors to accommodate your needs. Today, there was Live Band, Face Painting, Strolling Magician and more. Staff here is also pleasant and friendly to work with. Food quality is always top notch. Shrimp Tempura, Shoyu Pork, Tempura Veggies, and more. Sushi Station was incredible as well. They even served soft shell Crab. So good! Everything was right on point. This place is one of my favorite restaurants to attend for any occasion. Such a well organized venue that offers different size rooms to accommodate your needs.

Yelp
Attended a grad party here. The view was fantastic, room has multiple AC units, the staff were extremely helpful, and the food was delicious. Our favorites off the menu were the agedashi tofu and teriyaki steak. 10/10 experience!

Yelp
Recently hosted my Grandmothers birthday here! It was great. The food never disappoints. Teri steak and the steamed fish are my favorites! You get access 1 hour prior to your event so you can set up. Our waiters were super helpful. Introduced them selves immediately, helped wheel in everything, asked if we needed anything throughout the evening and kept the food plentiful. They even packed up all the food for us to take out! It's byob and you can bring your own pupu and dessert as well! Always looking forward to attending parties here! Can't wait for the next one or a reason to order catered food!

Yelp
Sister had my baby shower there. Haven't been there in year so was nice to get back. I was really impressed with the food, but the highlight is always the tempura. Only thing is that the shrimps are shrinking. Lotta batter. We had 2 salads. The salmon one was really good. The other one had too much dressing. Yakisoba was yums, Steak was yums. Agedashi tofu needed more taste but was yums. Yakitori sticks were okay. I took one with less sauce b/c I don't like sweet, so maybe that's why mine was a bland. But was cooked well so that's good. The shocker dish that was the best was the nasubi. YUMS! I feel like I'm missing a dish... But our young waiter was so sweet. He was fairly new to the position but did a great job. My niece's 1st bday party is going to be there...yay, can't wait to go back! Parking stinks, so go early if you going for a party or carpool! There are always multiple parties at once so it can fill up. My brother-in law had to park the street and walk up the hill.
