Beautiful place and there's so many things to see! It's walking at your own pace. If you walk too fast, you'll miss the tiny creatures. We saw snakes, frogs, lizards, ants, birds, monkeys, butterflies, and mushrooms. Take your time and enjoy the scenery. We had to let groups and other people pass us because they were basically walking without taking the time to LOOK. If you LOOK, you'll see so many things. The hanging bridges were also very cool and fun!

Noelia was our guide and she wonderful. She helped us get pictures and told us about the flora as well as the animals. She never once seemed irritated with my daughters questions or stops on the trail. It was a beautiful place and great experience

Few frogs (so small that you can see them only when guide points them to you) and snakes in cages, some crocodiles and butterflies, short hike, not worth the price. Did not see any animals (rainy day). Way too expensive. Better off do the national park hike.

Fun little park! Our guide for the frogs, Sebastian was so knowledgeable and gave us such great information! We really learned a lot. It started raining but they provided umbrellas for us. Took about 3 hours. Wonderful butterflies.

One of the biggest disappointments in Costa Rica! It could have already discouraged us that they only accept dollars, and when paying 88 dollars, they don’t have change for 100 dollars. Although this wasn’t an entirely unsolvable issue, the real problem arises when you pay 88 dollars and see only about 10 butterflies. ☹️ It felt like quite a scam to me. 🤔 The only redeeming part was the goose with goslings, but when you visit a butterfly house, that’s really not enough. 🤦🏼‍♂️ I definitely do not recommend this place. The entrance fee is 22 dollars per person, and you really see nothing.

Absolutely loved this place! We went with the self-guided tickets. Nevertheless, after making our way through the first portion of the park, a guide gave us information about the frogs, snakes, and other animals they had. We ended with a small trail, on which we spotted a few frogs and even a sloth. It's definitely worth stopping by! Very kind staff and lovely initiative.

We took the 2 hour night frog tour. We saw many animals and our guide, Leonela, was great. She was very knowledgeable about the animals and took great pictures (attached). We also got to search for the animals, which was very fun. The tour was a good length and the trail was not too difficult to walk, even in the dark. We would highly recommend our guide and the tour!

We went to the night walk. There were only two of us on the tour, so instead of a group tour, we ended up in the private tour. The whole park was empty and only for us. This was awesome! The guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of information. We saw many spices of frogs and toads. Before the tour, we didn't even know the difference. We also saw a couple of snacks, Lizard and armadillo. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
