Very good natural history museum about prehistoric findings, Africa and the crystals and fossils are amazing. It's not a big museum so you could spend and hour or two if you take your time.

The Naturhistorisches Museum is a small yet fascinating museum that's great for all ages. It's packed with engaging exhibits, and the layout makes it easy to explore without feeling overwhelming. The kids especially enjoyed the dazzling gem collection and the impressive dinosaur bones, which sparked their curiosity and imagination. Each section is well-curated, and there’s something for everyone—from geology to zoology. The displays are informative without being too complex, making it perfect for younger visitors. It’s a wonderful spot for families looking for an educational and fun outing. Highly recommend spending an hour or two here while in town.

Not a big but an interesting museum. It consist in an ethnological section(dedicated to some exotic parts of the world),an archaeological one and a geological one(a lot of wonderful glowing minerals).

Dinosaur seen, 5 stars acquired! Also, they have amazing miniatures that bring to life the exhibits!

This museum is dedicated more towards ancient civilizations and cultures rather than the usual dinosaurs and animals. The displays are beautifully presented and very interesting. It's also really cheap,.. only 5 euros for admission.

The Museum is smaller than the other Natural History Museum in Germany but it is well curated and very interesting. For the exbition’s explaination they should consider add English subtitles also.

A small and nice Museum about Natural History. There are many samples and finds but the visit won't last more than 30 mins. I bought a little Eisen-Nickel Meteorite as souvenir, nice!😄

The museum is small, but done with love and care. The ground floor is dedicated to ethnology, and has great exhibits and displays covering peoples and tribes from all over the world - from the cold expanses of the Arctic circle to the burning sands of the Sahara. The first floor has (on my visit) a very in-depth and interesting exhibit about meteorites, as well as stone and bronze age man. You can expect to spend 2 hours here, great value for money.
