From the second we walked in, it felt like home — warm, welcoming, and filled with thoughtful details that make the stay so special. The views are stunning, the home is beautifully designed, and it’s the perfect mix of luxury and cozy mountain charm. After long days riding and exploring, coming back here to unwind by the fire or soak in the hot tub with a glass of wine was everything we needed. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and truly enjoy every moment. It was the perfect backdrop for reconnecting with friends, sharing laughs, and creating memories — and we’re already planning our next trip back. If you’re coming to Big Sky, this is the place you want to stay.

Our stay at The Last Best Chalet was EPIC! If you’re going to big sky, you need to book it. The house had everything we needed, stunning views, and truly was one of The best places I’ve ever stayed. JUST WOW

The Last Best Chalet is a great home for a large group, very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The bedroom configuration worked well for everyone in our group and the children really enjoyed the rec room and hot tub. The location is perfect with great views and nice trails nearby with lots of wildlife to see, we enjoyed walking and ending up at the Montage for coffee. There is construction going on next door and throughout the neighborhood, but since we were out most of the day it didn’t disturb us too much.

Easily one of the best vacation rental experiences I have ever had. Natural Retreats worked with me on some booking issues and payment right from the jump, and when it came time for the actual stay, we found the home beautifully decorated, fully stocked, exceedingly comfortable, and clearly communicated throughout the weekend. Plenty of little touches, from soft towels to single-use amenities, made it feel like a real luxury indulgence priced for regular people. We felt like cared-for clients and not a hassle or a threat to the home - which happens far too often in this vacation rental space. Thank you so much to the Natural Retreats team. Natural Retreats exceeded all our expectations. When we arrived, the home was even more impressive in person than in the pictures. Everything was immaculate and clean, and I am quite particular about cleanliness. The customer service provided by Natural Retreats was outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The check-in and check-out processes were simple, quick, and easy. I highly recommend booking with Natural Retreats for an amazing vacation experience.

Natural Retreats ruins Christmas. This agency left our group hanging on our upcoming ski trip to Big Sky around Christmas. Based on their reputation as a trusted agency, we booked a house for our large group in August 2025. Aware that our vacation dates were peak season, we made sure to book early. With only two months left until our vacation date, after flights have been booked and lift tickets have been purchased, Natural Retreats unilaterally cancelled our reservation telling us that the house has sold, leaving us scrambling. It is obvious that Natural Retreats knew about the pending sale of the house, and they did not disclose this when we booked. They should have disclosed this risk and let us decide if the risk was worth taking based on price and value. Instead, we are out thousands of additional dollars that we could have avoided in finding alternative lodging late in the game. Even if the situation had been unforeseen by Natural Retreats, they have completely failed to provide any kind of make-good in helping us find alternative comparable lodging. Beware of Natural Retreat’s lack of transparency and poor assistance when things go south.

Natural Retreats calls itself a “luxury" travel service but it’s a sham. We booked a large ski home in early August for 4 families over Christmas week. The homeowner went into contract to sell in late August — yet Natural Retreats said nothing until mid-October, when they abruptly cancelled our trip. Not their fault that homes get sold, but Natural Retreats knew months earlier and chose to stay silent — apparently preferring to hold onto the reservation rather than give us the time to rebook elsewhere. Natural Retreats' response when they finally told us? “Not our fault, not our problem — try Airbnb. Have a great day!” We tried to work with them and they offered to split us into 2 less desirable homes for a lot more money. Way to take advantage of the situation guys! Natural Retreats is happy to take your money when things go well, but completely useless when they don’t. No empathy, no ownership, no class.

We ended up at Moondance Lodge after Natural Retreats informed us that our first selection had a hot tub that was being refurnished. Natural Retreats honored our initial price quote and worked quickly with good communication to find us a new vacation home. This house didn't disappoint and fit our crew perfectly. We especially liked the easy exit that allowed us to pack and go with no cleaning / laundry work. The ski to the mountain was a great morning adventure and a really good warmup. Only problem with the house location was getting home as the mountain signage is horrible but...it made for a good adventure every day! Thank you Brychette for all your hard work and for making things easy!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Do NOT recommend. The hot tub was half full upon arrival and shot water at our faces when we tried to use it. Huge disappointment and would NEVER recommend using natural retreats. I called their team to see if they could do anything and they argued with me trying to tell me it was full when I have video evidence it was not. This is the WORST experience I've had a lot a vacation rental ever. RENT FROM SOMEONE ELSE. Very DISAPPOINTING.

We've rented a ski house through Big Sky Luxury Rentals for three years in a row and have always been very happy with what we got. The houses we rented were well maintained and reasonably priced. Kitchens were always well equipped, which is great since we like to cook for ourselves to keep costs down. BSLR's customer service has always been excellent, and they offer some nice extras like a free shuttle to & from the airport in Bozeman.
