Natural Retreats - Lake Tahoe

Wonderful stay. You will not go wrong with Cedar Crest Cottages for your stay in Lake Tahoe. Beautiful and functional on the inside and rustic on the outside. Location is great for access to the water, great restaurants and activities surrounding the lake. The beach is small and rocky but is easy access to the water, just a few minutes walk. Besides having a place directly on the water (which is difficult to find and afford for most) there is no better option than Cedar Crest Cottages. Cedar Crest Cottages blends the comforts of a hotel and the privacy of a vacation home beautifully. Stay here!

This was our first time staying in a Natural Retreats property, and it had been more than 15 years since we had been to Lake Tahoe. Our cottage was clean and had all of the amenities we expected. Located on the bike path and across the street from the lake gave us access to the activities that were important to us. Note that there is no air conditioning, but fans were available. The booking and payment process was easy, and communication was excellent. We will choose Natural Retreats in the future and will recommend to others.

If you ever want to experience a 5 star accommodation, do check out the Crest View Cottages located in Homewood, CA. The complex was perfect for our first sibling family reunion. Our family rented out 7 of the cottages except for 2. Each cottage had everything you will need although we had issues with the WiFi connection but it didn’t stop our family from our plans. The drive to Tahoe City was breathtaking & just beautiful as you would drive along the NW part of Lake Tahoe. There are nearby stores & restaurants if needed, but you can cook your own meals @ the cottage(s). My husband stated he wouldn’t mind living @ the Chickadee Cottage permanently, that’s how much we enjoyed our short stay of 5 days. Maybe someday we’ll rent Chickadee Cottage again. You will not be disappointed.

Cedar Crest Cottages continues to be one of our favorite places to stay on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Clean, stylish, practical and comfortable accommodation's in an amazing location. Can't beat it.

We enjoyed staying with Natural Retreats for our ski trip in Palisades. The place was extremely spacious, very thoughtfully designed, furnished and fully equipped. It’s one of my best vacation rental experiences. I’m looking forward to going back again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The Natural Retreats in Lake Tahoe was an awesome place to stay. Their accommodations, service and central location were outstanding. We will definitely stay at the Natural Retreats the next time we return.

The property is in a great location, Homewood is much less crowded than Tahoe City. The beach feels like it’s private even though it is public. The cottages themselves are well appointed and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
