The museum was very disappointing and not worth the price. At least half the museum was entirely in German with no other translation, which was not made clear beforehand - the entry signs/floor map are in German, French, and English but the exhibits are often not. To not even translate the exhibits (especially the special exhibition) into French is very disappointing.
Additionally, there is very little “history” pre-1900s: the vast majority of the museum is taxidermy, models, bones, or jars of modern animals. In comparison to other natural history museums in Europe it was easily the most disappointing.
