Naturhotel Hammerhof

I travelled with my son for the ski holiday. We had a great time there. The hosts are very friendly and happy to help. The breakfast has a good selection. The room is a good size for two. There is a small spa unit at the basement which has sauna and a steam room plus some loungers for relaxing. We found the horse ride very good. It takes you deep into the national park zone with amazing sceneries.

Super welcoming place with an excellent location. Tucked a little back from the village but a very short and easy walk in if you wanted. This place has a very family feel and I enjoyed it. The rooms are simple but very clean, I was lucky enough to have one with a balcony at the front of the hotel and it was very nice to watch the horses and other animals, (there are stables and some farm animals here). A small but good menu, although the kitchen is not open every night. |Special mention to the family that runs this, they were very kind and welcoming. I can't think of a better place to stay in Filzmoos.

This is such a nice hotel. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is super. Evening meals were delicious. Everything you need for a good skiing holiday. The horse and carriage ride into the woods was incredible! We would definitely come back. Thank you!

Fantastic location , the Owners and staff were very welcoming and the food was great. Could not fault it. The Ski area is very small however the views from the 4 man lift are fab.The home made cakes that are free where the best I've ever tasted.

We booked this hotel because we liked the sound of the location just outside the village. It's a short walk into the centre and it was just what we wanted. Quiet and on the ski bus route so no problems getting to and from the slopes. The owners are around some of the time but if it wasn't for Thomas we'd have felt a little left to our own devices! We've been to other Austrian hotels and felt like part of the family but the owners have very little to do with their guests here. Food is good, the usual buffet breakfast and a decent 3 course evening meal... only problem for us is that we had no idea what was on the menu as it was presented each morning in German! Thank goodness for google translate and Thomas! We had a very nice room, just what we asked for and it was very comfortable indeed with good views. I'd visit this hotel again as the staff were brilliant!

We stayed here at the start of the summer season and the hotel was faultless from start to finish. This hotel has a lovely family feel and although a short walk out of town the views are stunning, there is plenty of parking for cars if you wish to hire them. ||We used the hotel as a base for walking and from the moment we arrived we settled in straight away. A special mention must go to our waiter Thomas, he helped us with local ideas and recommended walks as well as ensure my gluten free, pregnant wife was happy with all the menu choices. ||We would love to come back here as you can see from the pictures it does not disappoint. The wildflower meadows, the horses and other animals on the farm as well as their own products being served at breakfast made this a special place for us.

Just returned from a stay at the hammerhof and was my first trip to Austria, the location was picture perfect with the mountains in the background , ideally placed with just a short walk to the village. I was greeted by Thomas who showed me my room and was superb & very helpful during my stay, the breakfast is continental & a 3 course evening meal was excellent. The room was very good and suited my needs with a lack of an kettle being the only downside.

Stayed as the Hammerhof for a weeks holiday for my first solo trip abroad, it was perfect for me. It was quiet and very peaceful, just outside the village center, but only 5 mins walk to the very heart of the village and the restaurants.||||Gorgeous location with bright spacious rooms, friendly staff, beautiful breakfast and cakes in the afternoon.||||The walking in the area is fantastic and walks available straight from the hotel or by catching the local busses.||||I would stay here again anytime, totally loved it!||||Thank you so much :)
