Naughty Nuri's Ubud

My tour driver recommended this restaurant as this is the original Naughty Nuri’s, those at Seminyak and others which display make pink cute piglets shatter around the frontage, that are the franchise. I prefer franchise Naughty Nuri because they’re grilled pork ribs is the best in Bali! You have give the same sauce but other dishes the franchise add in is excellent match. So this restaurant have smoke problem, the BBQ is right infront the restaurant causing the wind that your staff fan towards the restaurant and I just showered but I smell bad after dinner. All staffs are very nice and friendly. I hope my next trip back, you could have a better BBQ area with no smoke fan into restaurant. Suggest also add suckling pig and roasted pork crispy skin. The pork was excellent, freshly grilled by the staff right at the entrance. There were several sauces available on the table, and the spicy one was especially delicious. The chicken soup was light, with a strong carrot flavor. The ayam betutu took more than half an hour to be served, but it tasted like a simple steamed or boiled chicken, clean and mild, yet quite ordinary and not really worth the long wait. The fried rice was very tasty and satisfying.

My sister said this is the OG Nuri’s in Bali. Fair to say the pork ribs are LIT 🔥 Tender, juicy, combined with their sauce (free on the table) is a 9 out of 10. You may complete the ribs with chips (potato wedges) or mashed potatoes, both of which are perfectly suited. Mbok-mbok who serves us are so kind and treats us nicely. Another thing to mind if you want to try more various menus you should come at lunch. Would definitely come again.

Got suggested to come here by the locals for having the best bbq pork ribs. The food instantly smells good the moment we got out of the car. We ordered the pork ribs, skewers, mi goreng vegetarian, chicken soup and fried banana. The food were overall good. My wife and I thought it would make a good daily hangout food spot. The seasoning and the sauce were great. However, we had to knock it down a point because the pork quality wasn’t as good. Also, the pork were on the overcooked side. Come here for the flavor but don’t expect quality.

There's a few spots that specialise in it but one of the most acclaimed is the OG location of Naughty Nuri's in Ubud, a short drive away from the town centre. You'll know you're in the right spot when you see clouds of BBQ smoke filling up the air on the street-side. It's a small Warung but it gets crowded pretty quickly as the sun sets. Get the pork spare ribs. That's what they're known for, and it's pretty bloody good. And don't bother with anything else on the menu LOL, we tried a few but the pork spare ribs definitely hit the best. Just get a few more servings of it if you're hungry. Only $15 AUD for a full rack!

The pork ribs only have one size which is too much for a solo dinner. I decided to order the pork skewers instead which is good. It’s flavor is almost the same as how we do it back home so it’s a good reminder of Filipino food. The pineapple with the pork was weird though.

We had a great time dining at Naughty Nuri’s in Ubud — the place has a rustic, laid-back vibe that feels more like a local warung than a polished restaurant, which adds to its charm. The pork ribs were the highlight: well-seasoned and flavorful, though they could have been a touch more tender to truly fall off the bone. The sambal sauce was excellent — spicy with a satisfying kick that really elevates the meal. We also tried the beef burger, which was massive and pretty decent overall. Portions are generous, and for the quality and taste, it definitely feels like good value for money. A solid spot to visit if you’re craving hearty, smoky BBQ-style food with an unpretentious vibe.

I did visit this place 2 years agai and came back again cause the rib was very impressive 👍🔥 same as my first visit, I brought some friends to try the ribs and haha they all loved it like 2 years ago !!! Worth it to try again even the place is very far from my hotel !! Recommend the ribs with beer, Yummmm!
