Nautilus Dive Tech

My Partner and I were recently at Nautilus Dive Tech for a week of recreational and technical diving. Let me start by saying that we are both Active SCUBA Instructors and have been to quite a few dive operations in the past, however we were exceptionally impressed by our experience with Nautilus. The Nautilus team is absolutely amazing and made our stay with them phenomenal. Dael is an awesome manager who created a tailor made diving schedule for us which was curated towards our specific interests. He was also very helpful with organizing trips to Gordo Banks and Cabo Pulmo with very short notice. We really appreciate his attention to detail and how he likes to go the extra mile to ensure his clients are having a great time! During our time at Nautilus we were diving with Ivand. From our very first dive with Ivand we loved his unwavering commitment to safety and his overall passion for diving. He is very knowledgable about Cabo's marine ecosystem and was very happy to share his knowledge. We definitely learned a lot from him. Ivand really pulled out all the stops and was happy accommodate our special requests such as providing us with specialized sidemount tanks and deco gas blends. He is an all round amazing guy and truly ensured our experience at Nautilus was the best it could be. During our time at Nautilus we stayed at the Nautlius house on site. The house is a beautiful property and was very comfortable. It has a fully equipped Kitchen, 3 beds/baths and all the amenities you could ask for. Thanks once again to Dael, Ivand and the rest of the Nautilus team for everything! We are already planning our next trip back

We had an amazing time getting certified with Dael and his team at Nautilus Dive Tech! Would 100% recommend diving with them if you are in Cabo. We saw so much wildlife, including Sea Lions and Humpback Whales!

Stop searching and just book with this Dive Shop! I found them because of their positive reviews and so I want to leave one too. As a Scuba Instructor I am very picky when I have to pay for a dive :) So far I have been diving with them for two weeks. They are safe, clean, fun and knowledgeable! Their respect for the ocean and the marine life cant be matched. Dive sites are picked for favourable conditions. They have gone above and beyond for me and others each time an opportunity arose. They love diving as much as I do and it shows. They only take small numbers out and never rush you or forget about you. I will be diving with them for another month so dont be afraid to ask questions. They are a five star PADI and plan Advanced excursions as well as entry level

Just finished a week of diving with them. Experienced, friendly dive team, two good boats, wide selection of available dives for all experience levels, just a wonderful group to dive with. Another plus is the clean, comfortable casita available onsite, so you can stay right there where you leave forthe boat! My go-to dive organization anytime I come down to Cabo.

Awesome experience at a great price. I booked the dive over the phone and they were able to set up a dive for me on the very next day. They brought me to two different dive sites around pelican rock and El Arco on a boat. I was the only diver on the boat. Juan, the Dive Master even brought a GoPro and filmed my dive for free! There was lots of fish and wildlife out in the water. I would recommend Nautilus Dive Tech to anyone looking to dive in Cabo!

Went on an amazing dive today with Joy at Nautilus. Will be recommending to all our other dive friends. Great price, walking distance from our airbnb, they were super friendly and helpful when we came in to ask about diving with them while we were here. Saw so many awesome things including humpbacks breaching right before we dropped in the water for one of our dives. We saw a sea lion, rays, guitar ray, baby octopus, pufferfish, cortez rays, tons of moray eel… it was an amazing day thank you Divemaster Joy and Captain Santos! :)

Did 5 days of diving with Nautilus Dive tech. One of the best experiences of my life. Dael and his team are super professional, warm and communicative. Slavik my instructor was great and him and the boat captains made the entire time super pleasant. Very good attention to detail and my security, and we even managed to see some whales off the shores of the corridor which is quite lucky at the start of November. Prices we're fair and even though I had issues with my ear and wasn't able to dive for a day and a half which influenced a lot the program we built, Dael (the owner) & Slavik made a lot of efforts & adjustments of the program to answer my needs and fulfill all dives I paid for without asking for anything extra or complaining even for a bit. Super happy and lucky I chose you guys! (And thanks Sergio for making the introduction and explanations the day I came, it did make a huge difference on my decision to dive with you guys!) Thanks ❤️

Best dive shop in Cabo, hands down. My wife and I are on opposite ends of the dive spectrum. She is currently uncertified and was looking to do a Discover Scuba Dive (DSD) and I've been diving for over 20 years with Extended Range and Technical certifications and currently diving on a closed circuit rebreather. Nautilus was able to accommodate us both for a great set of dives, together. They provided everything we needed for a safe, fun dive, including refreshments, a tour of the area, and a 100% O2 tank for my rebreather. I honestly didn't have very high expectations for a DSD, but Juan was an excellent Dive Guide and setup a profile that was perfect for the two of us. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and sea life, pointing out a ton of awesome fish, some eels, and even a tiny white nudibranch. The team had us meeting there at 7am and at some places that means more like 8 or 8:30am, but the shop staff showed up 15 min early (at 6:45am) in order to be all setup for us when we got there. The shop area is much larger than I expected and has a very nice outdoor area with deep pool for training, lots of tables and long benches to get your dive gear sorted, as well as clean bathrooms and outdoor showers. They are a great shop for divers of all experience levels and, from what I could find, the only shop that could accommodate any kind of technical dive profiles or gas mixes. No matter what your skill level is, if you are diving in Cabo you should be diving with Nautilus. 10 out of 10, I would highly recommend.

From the moment I first arrived Nautilus Dive Tech welcomed me with open arms. Nothing but smiling faces and friendly vibes all the way around. I feel like part of the family after just two dives. The Dive Shop is professional with everything well organized. Karla and her dogs are the sweetest. They hold down the fort, while you dive. Ivand spent 1 on 1 time with me in the pool before our dives. He is cool, calm and collected which makes for a great instructor to learn from. Once I was comfortable it was off to the ocean. I loved the fact that Nautilus values small groups for a better experience. My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to have Ivand and David to ourselves. Having Ivand by my side made me feel at peace in the ocean. He gave me visual signals to communication and enjoyed every minute underwater. Our first dive, David took us around to see all the coral they had successfully propagated. The conservation work they do in Cabo is amazing. Our second dive was even better than the first! As soon as Ivand and I jumped in, pelicans were dive bombing in next to me for their sardine lunch. The sardines were exquisite. It was like swimming through silver glitter all around you. Their collective movement was a magical dance with yours. Even a seal jumped in to grab a bite. There were so many interesting fish to see. My favorite were the puffer fish. I even saw a neon colored one, as if a black light was shining down on it. The coral had a tiny fish with crazy eyes. I saw angelfish, tangs, triggerfish, sea anemones...it reminded me of the movie Finding Nemo. It is truly a whole new world underwater. I can't wait to see more. Thank you Ivand for such an excellent dive experience in Cabo. You're the best. The entire Nautilus Team is passionate, great at what they do and love their jobs. I couldn't ask for a better company to work with. I highly recommend Nautilus Dive Tech to anyone dreaming of exploring the underwater world. You won't regret it! We are so impressed with the professionalism of the people at this fine establishment! During Covid restrictions they were in constant communication with us and made our vacation so memorable. Dael was amazing. We will come back next time in Cabo!

We were referred to Nautilus Dive Tech by our dive instructor in San Diego for a vacation in Cabo. We had a wonderful experience. We booked in advance, and everything went smoothly. We paid a deposit for two dives in advance. We dove Pelican Rock one day and the Corridor another day. The prices were reasonable and consistent with other established dive centers. David was our guide and he was really great, especially with my teenage daughter who is new to diving. He was very patient and and took the time to make her feel comfortable in the water. Adrian captained their dive boat and we met Dael the owner. Everyone was great. They also have a very friendly French Mastiff dog at the dive center. The equipment was in great shape, and they are a very professional organization. We had a truly wonderful time, and we look forward to diving with them again soon in La Paz or at Cabo Pulmo.

I came down to Cabo to get my PADI Open Water Diver certification after completing the online course. The location, warm water and sea life in Cabo made this an ideal spot. The price was very reasonable. I was able to quickly complete my pool work with Julio and transitioned to the sea the following day. The pool was set up very well for learning the skills you need to dive safely. The first dive in the sea was a little scary but Julio constantly checked on me and I was able to relax and focus on what I needed to do. The most difficult exercise for me was removing my mask under water because of the tendency to want to breathe through my nose. When diving you gotta do the creeper and breathe only through your mouth. A few practice sessions in the pool and I was good to go. 3 dives later I felt way more confident and comfortable in the water and had an amazing experience swimming close to so many beautiful and curious sea creatures. I even saw a resting white-tip shark! So many beautiful fish! Julio and his team took care of everything, providing the training, equipment, boat and transportation to and from the dive shop. There are lots of great places to eat and shop nearby in the heart of Cabo as well. I'll be back to swim with the whale sharks!

Dael and his team are safe friendly knowledgeable and passionate scuba divers and instructors! We completed our PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty, as well as fun dives to 80 feet at the wreck at the arches, sea lion cave, pelican rock, the underwater sand falls, and a night dive featuring a sleeping turtle under a rock! Nico was a great dive master who brought up the rear while Dael led the expeditions -- they are safe and conscientious supervisors, and the boat captain was always right there when we surfaced. We dove on nitrox of varying percentages which they mix on site in their full service dive and repair and shop. They had the feeling of a boutique concierge dive service and set up our gear daily, broke it down cleaned it and stored it nightly. Communication was easy in either English or Spanish. I'm planning to try to learn to mix gasses with them, as well as service my gear, and can't wait to dive cabo pulmo reserve soon

I am PADI certified and have dove with Nautilus for the past 3 years. Last year, my 11 year old was supposed to dive with me for the first time. The shop made her do the discovering scuba class, which I was happy to see that they required it, but after her pool time she was unable to clear her ears so we called it and they happy refunded the cost we paid for the dive. This year I got my 12 year old to go with me. They remembered us and they took her to the pool and tested her skills out before we went in the ocean. In the ocean, David was very patient with my daughter and they went over the skills she needed to know. After passing the skills we stared our dive. As we got deeper her ears started to not clear. We called the dive for her after several attempts and she snorkeled as I and the dive master went for the rest of our first dive. For the second dive, I recommend that we use the line that was being used for the protection area so my daughter could clear her ears slower and at her pace. David though it was a great idea. My daughter was able to clear her ears all the way to the depth that is allowed for beginners. We dove and he showed us lots of amazing thing in the water. My daughter had such a great first time experience that she is ready to get certified. Thank you for a great experience and we will be back next year.

Really nice dive experience. Two really experienced dive masters went with a group of six of us. They were very knowledgeable and setup all of my equipment. Some people like to set it up themselves but it always makes me nervous so I was happy with the full service. They arranged transport for me from Me Cabo. It was a wonderful morning. Definitely recommend.
