As first time visitors to the beautiful Cook Islands, we were keen to try one of the better resorts for dinner one evening. What a treat! The restaurant was quiet and the staff were really attentive and charming. We ate our top notch meal watching the sunset across the most amazing vista. We plan to stay here at our next visit.

This was our third stay there and the resort itself is lovely, rooms are a great size, clean and well equipped, however the bed not as comfortable as last time. Staff are super friendly and helpful, however the service wasn't as good, definite improvements required there - if you were sitting poolside or in the restaurant for drinks or nibbles you would have to go the bar or wave someone down to be served, not what you expect when staying at a 4-5 star resort. Food was good, location is perfect not only for the beach aspect but also other eating venues which are all within easy walking distance.

We recently had our wedding at the Nautilus Resort in Rarotonga, and it truly was the best day of our lives. The entire planning process was stress-free and enjoyable thanks to the amazing wedding team—Flora, Sarah, Waka, and the owner Jane.||The team went above and beyond to make us feel special. They even organized a rehearsal lunch the day before the wedding, complete with gorgeous floral decorations in the outdoor gazebo and a custom menu. On the day itself, their professionalism and organization were unmatched. Waka picked up my bridesmaids and me from our Airbnb and even arranged affordable transportation for our guests after the event.||The food deserves a special mention—it was phenomenal. Nearly three months later, our guests are still raving about it! As food is such a significant part of Samoan and Māori culture, we were initially worried about quantity, especially since we had a lot of big eaters attending. To our delight, there was more than enough, with many going back for seconds and thirds. The quality and abundance of food truly exceeded all expectations.||Overall, the Nautilus Resort gave us a day we will cherish forever. They captured every detail we hoped for and more, creating a seamless and unforgettable celebration. On the day, every single staff member was so attentive ensuring all our guests were well looked after. If you're looking for a dream wedding venue in Rarotonga, this is it. Thank you to the entire team at the Nautilus for giving us memories to last a lifetime! 🌺 You will always have a special place in our hearts.

Nautilus - the best resort on Rarotonga. Our 6 day stay in the Cook Islands was planned to be one of relaxation and the Nautilus resort fulfilled these expectations and more! An intimate resort comprised of small semi detached bungalows equipped with their own plunge pools we never felt it was too crowded and the service from every staff member was first class. Special mention must go to Janet and Justin who were our two most regular servers in the restaurant - they were friendly and seemed genuinely interested in what we were planning to do or how our day had gone and when we left they felt like good friends. We left Nautilus relaxed and refreshed and wanting more!

We saw this place in a booklet at our resort. Looked it up for dinner and decided to visit it. We popped in during an outing one day, and it was a little too early for us to have lunch or a drink. But we liked the look of it and decided to book in for dinner. The place is stunning!!! So beautiful, the infinity pool is a sight for sore eyes 😍. On our return for dinner, we ordered fish tacos, goats cheese salad, lamb rump and wok tossed greens. Every component on every dish was perfection. I don’t even like goats cheese but boy was that creamy, it probably could have been rolled in more wasabi peas, but it was still so yum!!! We didn’t book to stay here because of the cost of the rooms. But when we come back to Raro! We can see that every penny would be worth it! Thank you for your great service!!! And great food!!!

We are on our last night of a 5 night stay. We have enjoyed Nautilus and Raratonga. A perfect spot to recharge and relax. Our accommodation was exceptional with a private plunge pool to enjoy. The restaurant staff are amazing and nothing is to much trouble. Janet, Justine , Ketut and Rho on the breakfast shift made us feel like family. Food and cocktails were enjoyable and I did manage to enjoy a few of the cocktails. The location is perfect with easy access to the bus and main town. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Everything we hoped for right here. |Huge rooms to relax in, with comfortable beds, and either rooms with a sheltered private garden, or beachfront sites with incredible sea views. We had both sheltered and sun-drenched loungers for personal use outside our room, plus an outdoor table and hammock. So many options!|This resort is small enough to have staff get to know you personally (so friendly), and still remain quiet, peaceful and relaxing. |But big enough to have a generous restaurant with lovely menu and fabulous sea views, a large salt-water pool (as well as your own private plunge pools) and great equipment to use for snorkelling and kayaking. |Management have clearly noted and responded to some previous feedback - as towels are now huge, fluffy and immaculately clean, and rooms and grounds are cleaned to a spotless level every day. |Some appreciated extras include:|- huge range of reef shoes in all sizes available, plus snorkels, fins, life jackets |- variety of kayaks and SUPs free to grab anytime on the beach|- bug spray and coils in each room - for the short period around dusk when mossie are about|- ample coffee pods for the provided nespresso machine|- freshly baked cookies each night||There is a lovely little island in front of the resort - great to snorkel and kayak around, one side was always sheltered from the wind, for great fish views. Turtles spotted by a lucky few. And saw whales breaching in the distance - from the beachfront and restaurant. Magical! ||Shout out to the wonderful staff who were so attentive and friendly, esp with my Mum with her mobility issues. Especially Janet, Justin and Ketut - we'll miss your smiles!! Thanks for making our holiday so special. Hope to return one day!!

My daughter and I stayed at Nautilus Resort in early December 2024 in the beach front accommodation. The room was great, the bathroom was enormous, the private plunge pool was awesome, the seafood pasta was like no other, and the resort definitely has the best location on the island. My daughter said it was her best holiday ever; she didn't want to leave. We look forward to returning to Cook Islands and Nautilus Resort.
