Friendly barista but the coffee felt a little over priced compared to all the other great options in the neighbourhood! Worth a try for those who like exploring different cafes. Do note that their quantity is less than others.

In my search for hidden gem coffee shops this one tops my list so far ☝🏽- for coffee/latte quality, style and design (allow its a small spot). Had only great lattes and espressos so far. 👍🏽 Gabriel the owner is very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The cookies are great too! 😋 His dark-glass, see through espresso machine and glasses are Uber chic - 👌🏽 I’ll def be back when I’m in the king west neighbourhood - best in the area IMO! Thanks for upping the game in the area Gabriel! 🙏🏽

This is a hidden coffee shop close to my favorite part of the town. I did not see any seating area; however, their espressos are really good! This is combination of a barista who knows his job and great beans. Keep it up and we will be there more now that we discovered you. My only recommendation is bring some exotic beans from roasters outside of Ontario and add a seating area (if possible). Overall, I highly recommend them.

Just didn’t do it for me. Great looking cafe but found it to be pretentious and over priced.

Just discovered this hidden gem on Too Good to Go - the cookies I received were delicious! We also grabbed a couple flat whites which were delicious as well. A great destination for dog walkers as the pups are allowed in.

Nava is my new favourite coffee shop! The staff are always so friendly and the coffee is great. The cookies though are Toronto’s best kept secret.

wanted to try their coffee.. unfortunately wasn’t able to. they don’t accept cash. I forgot my card and not a fan of apple pay. I know it’s a world of technology now but common paying cash should be accepted don’t make covid as an excuse.

Hidden gem. A coffee connoisseurs choice for a good espresso. Beautiful shop, friendly barista, and great bean selection.

Yelp
Nava Coffee, from the owner of Nava Social (on King St E), recently opened where they serve a variety of beverages and baked goods. Like their opening weekend when they opened their King W. location, Nava Coffee has been offering complimentary drinks and baked goods on them from Fri to Sun. This coffee shop is located on Waterloo Terrace, just steps away from the busy King St. W. (near Portland) Once you are able to locate the hidden coffee shop, you are in for a treat. I stopped by Nava Coffee on a Friday during their opening weekend. Location wise, they were easy to find as they had signage on King W. inviting customers to come in. Walking down an alley way you make a left and then to your right the small coffee shop comes into view. Currently they only allow 3 customers in the store at a time due to pandemic restrictions (and they are pretty on top of this!). There were already 3 other parties there when I arrived so I waited outside (didn't wait long anyways). Upon entering, you notice the tiles on the floor and the neat neon light across the coffee counter. When you order your drinks your eyes may also glance towards their selection of baked goods. For my order I opted for an iced Americano and tried that banana bread (with strawberry meringue buttercream). My iced Americano was made at a reasonable time and tasted great and the banana bread was not too sweet with the buttercream but moist at the same time (pretty too!). They were also advertisting their new "Rosa" drink which I will want to try next time (great non-coffee option!). My order was complimentary due to their opening weekend promo. Service wise, staff were friendly. I chatted with the cashier briefly as I had mentioned that I have visited their King E location several times. Overall, great new location for coffee and baked goods. Definitely will return for more when I am around the area! Tip: they are currently open from ~8am to about 3-4pm depending on the day.

Yelp
This new coffee shop is hidden away behind some buildings on King St W. People may have a hard time finding it. I came for the grand opening. They were giving out free drinks and banana bread with sweet icing. I got the blue social butterfly ice tea drink. It was very refreshing on a hot summer day. You got the option of choosing oat milk instead of regular milk which I did. I came here again the next day and got the iced matcha latte made with oat milk and a cheese croissant. They use real matcha power. They whisk the power with the brush and in the bowl. This place is a must try.

Yelp
Just the coffee place I was looking for. Not too expensive, off the beaten path, and good tasting coffee. Will be back to check out some of their other options. I got a flat white and it was delicious :)

Yelp
A small little shop that can be slightly difficult to find, but definitely worth the detour. The barista was extremely knowledgeable as he explained the different coffee offerings to the girl in front of me. I was fortunate enough to grab a couple of their cookies and the labels don't lie - this cookie will change your life (and your waistline). Overall, super friendly service and delicious treats, can't wait to try their coffee next time, earlier in the day.
