A well maintained museum giving us a glimpse of Canada's Naval History. In a country where many celebrate the forces and their sacrifices, the museum showcases the many battles, ships, submarines, equipment, men and women of the Canadian Navy. Photographs and artifacts from years past are preserved and showcased.
The building itself is in side the Halifax DND site and has enough parking right in front of the museum. The building itself is not accessible because of its 200 year old heritage making it difficult to renovate.
The lawns have radar antennae and guns displayed. There is no entry fee but a donation is appreciated. The wonderful staff is at hand if you have any questions.
