Nice location not on the water but walkable to Agios Prokopios. They can arrange a car for you. Breakfast was great. We had dinner the grilled octopus was delicious. They have an extensive bar, especially for whiskey and bourbon lovers. We had a share pool, which we had all to ourselves.|Only issue was our coffee maker was broken and had water in it, that I cleaned out to find out it didn’t work. Would recommend.

It might have been a luxury when it was built some years ago. The living room has a concrete bench with two pillows on each side. There are no cushions, so sit on the concrete seat if you want to watch TV. The place needs updating, especially the dining table. There is only one port in the bedroom to charge your devices. The shower/steam room needs updating because steam is wearing down the shower floor. The phone never worked. We walked to the front desk to resolve any issues. The toilet stopper needed repair; water continuously ran unless you giggled it. I gave it a three instead of a two because the breakfast and the person behind the counter were great. When they found out we would not make breakfast because of a tour we had, they put the buffet out 30 minutes earlier so we could eat. Though unable to resolve all the issues, the on-duty staff responded and showed genuine concern. We got some compensation for the issues we dealt with through a lengthy discussion at checkout. What is most frustrating is that this hotel did not have a manager to talk to at prime checkout time. The person checking you out “has no authority” to deal with issues. I don't understand why you would not have a manager on duty during the morning check-out times.|Because I pushed the issue, a manager called and showed up in about 20 minutes. This wait put our schedule behind.

We had reserved a room for 6 nights but left after 1 day: I had totally overlooked one tiny detail in the room presentation … “semi-shared” pool. So we were basically sharing our unit’s pool with our next door neighbors. If you swam 4 meters to the other end of the pool you’d be facing their own door, window and small patio. The pool being right off our 2 doors. Not at all the privacy and quiet that we were imagining upon reserving, reassured by the 650 EUR night rate. We basically felt besieged in our own room (which was large and came with a hip, modern design and super comfy bedding). Also, the house we were in also came, alongside our “pool-sharers”, with noises from another unit above: very poor noise insulation. After we complained, the hotel owner (whom we never met although I’m pretty sure he was sitting on the bar’s sofa when we left), proposed a deal (via the very polite manager) which we took, but averaging out the hefty total amount this was (easily) the most expensive hotel night I ever paid for (far above Maldivian levels). As for the view, yes we saw the sea in the distance but there was also another hotel unit smack in the middle of it, below ours (see pic). Friendly staff, delicious fresh and light food but again, not at all what we had in mind and absolutely not worth the price. You’ll be fine if you reserve full villas, but they’re quite close to one another, do expect noise from your neighbors. This being July in Greece, we felt very lucky to find another accommodation with a real, unobstructed seaview. And 0 noise. And a pool fully to ourselves. But I regret my money bitterly and this sad saga perturbed our vacation and very much dented my trust in Small Luxury Hotel offerings.

We were treated to a complimentary glass of wine on arrival and that set the tone for our entire trip (it was amazing). We would 10000% stay here again in the future 😃 We booked the Honeymoon suite and there was plenty of privacy, the views were completely stunning, and it was very clean and tidy thanks to the daily housekeeping team. We went in mid September - The weather was mostly great, but be wary of the infamous Cyclades island winds as it can turn a little chilly if it's windy & overcast. The staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly too, with lots of great information and recommendations for Chora (Naxos main town) and also for Agios Prokopios, a smaller town a short 20 min walk from the hotel. The only very very small negatives are: The pool was a little on the cold side, but it was very refreshing after spending time in the sun. There was some banging noises through the night due to the wind catching the shutters on the outside of the windows, but this was easily remedied by pinning them open. You need a taxi, the bus, or your own vehicle to get to Chora from this hotel, but this distance provided a very nice buffer from the bustling seafront when we wanted to relax. The reception can also arrange taxi transfers for you at any time. Overall we loved our stay and hope to return very soon 😃

Hotel is beautiful. The service is top notch. However, you need to take a taxi everywhere. If accommodating. ooking g for a relaxing time this is the place to be. Good liquor selection and a 20 to 30 walk to the beach. Their on call taxi driver Petro is the best and very informative accomdating. Their tour guide Costas is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and will greet you with a smile. I'm forgetting his name but the waiter is the most humble and gracious man I've met my entire trip.

The service at this villa-hotel is exemplary. Alex was very helpful throughout our stay and the other women at the front area were also very friendly. We stayed in a two bedroom villa with pool that was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was adequate. Nothing exemplary, but not too basic. ||Pros: |- the service and staff|- spacious villa|- private pool||Cons:|- a drive away from Chora, the beach, restaurants, villages, etc. You either need a rental car or taxi anytime you want to go out. ||- very limited storage in the villa. No drawers. We lived out of our suitcases. ||- pool was borderline cold even though it was very hot outside - we visited August 20-23. We still jumped in and swam and found the pool a nice break from the heat- but it was a few degrees cooler than “refreshing”. They should invest in heaters for the pools and it would be a game changer. ||- staff was hanging around and smoking right at a doorway directly next to our pool. I’m not sure if this door was staff quarters or a maintenance room, but it was weird that it was right on our property and staff was in and out when we were by our pool. ||Overall, we had a lovely stay but not sure we would return. We just prefer properties that are a walk away from something - whether it is the beach/town/restaurants/etc.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Staff was very attentive and wonderful. The room was fantastic, clean and very comfortable. We had everything that we need/wanted. The cats on the property were cute and friendly as well. It was really close and easy to get to the airport, the villages, and the city. Highly recommend staying here when you visit Naxos.

Overall we loved this hotel, but it is not your typical set up. Individual villas make up the property and there is really no lobby, no restaurant (just a room with tables that is pretty much open air so basically very warm). Tiny bar area. No pool area - each villa has their own. It feels very old world. Villa was stark - everything made of stone. Showers had no doors and were very, very hard to regulate. Each time we showered the entire floor of the bathroom got flooded. Pool was really nice, but our villa backed the hotel garden and every afternoon there were workers there harvesting. Also, we felt that the property seemed overgrown in a lot of places. You would expect the upkeep of a property like this to be better. When we arrived the downstairs shower had no hot water, but we mentioned it to Alex, who was our contact the entire time, and he had it fixed immediately. Speaking of Alex by the way - he is incredible. So helpful, so knowledgeable and always so sweet and ready to do anything and everything to make our stay amazing. A very different and unique experience. Would recommend.
