We walked over to Naysayer from our Airbnb and we loved it! Super cute little coffee shop next to a little market. We’ve been back twice and both times espresso has been great. I did try the OG bagel. It was good but wasn’t a huge fan of the jam on top and they were kinda stingy with the cream cheese. Pastries looked good and they also have merch. Definitely check it out.

The freshest cold brew I have had in my life. Their coffee is rockstar and they sell beans all around Napa.

Wish I could rate this more than 5 stars! My husband and I took a long weekend trip to Napa and Naysayer was a true highlight. I'm coffee-obsessed, seeking the best shops in any destination we visit, and this one didn't disappoint. From the creative drink menu ("Cold Fashioned" - YUM) and the yummy treats (Maple brioche donut was to die for), to the super friendly staff who made us feel so very welcome, I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for an all-around wonderful experience. Love the little quirky touches like the Lego set at the counter. We couldn't help but stop by again on our way back to the airport for another round!

We had the iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was the best we’ve had so far (and we get vanilla lattes all the time in every town we go). I read in another review that their syrup is homemade, I didn’t ask so don’t know for sure, but that might be the reason it was SO darn good! Thank you!

Not only does Naysayer offer the best coffee in town, it is also an incredibly special community spot. Locals (like myself) convene here regularly for delicious food and coffee and great conversation. The staff is incredibly friendly and warm and there's nothing better than supporting a family-run business. Highly recommend!!

Found this place on the way to a vineyard. Excellent coffee, with multiple single origin bean options, lovely staff and real attention to detail in everything they do.

The iced latte was pretty good although it became watery pretty soon. There were not so many interesting food options but I can recommend this spot for coffee

My favorite local coffee shop!! They always have really fun rotating seasonal drinks- my favorites are the TFL (their take on a PSL) and the maple pine latte. The OG bagel with their seasonal jams is a great touch, along with other delicious pasteries from Winston's. Staff is great- should out to Gaby and Ashley for always making my mornings better!

One of my favorite coffee shops in town! The atmosphere is cozy, the customer service is friendly, and the baked goods and drinks are always delicious. It's a quant location, perfect for a coffee date or getting some work done. They also have outdoor options too!

Small but very cute coffee shop with a creative menu. Got the Cranberry & Orange E&T which was one of the season drinks at the time. First E&T (espresso & tonic) I've ever tried and I loved it! Very refreshing and creative. I had a time sensitive work email to send off so I dropped by to get that done and grab a coffee and it worked out great. Staff was very friendly. I don't think it's the best coffee shop to work long term as it's small and not a lot of seating so you don't want to hog the seats for too long but it worked out for a quick email send!

I stopped by Naysayer Coffee around 10am on a Friday, and there was a steady stream of people coming in and out, but not too packed. Despite being a relatively small space, there is some bench seating along the wall and bar seating by the window. There were some tempting pastries on display, but I only grabbed the seasonal sesame matcha latte since I had plans to grab food elsewhere already. The sesame matcha latte was definitely unique - with a lightly tart pomegranate cream top that wasn't too overpowering. I found the matcha itself wasn't very prominent, and was maybe overwhelmed by the nuttiness of the sesame. Naysayer is a cozy, cute corner in the neighborhood, and I definitely want to come back to try the pastries and lattes next time!

Local joint, local service, local products. What more can I say? There are 4 seats on the interior should you decide to have your beverage there. (I had my coffee there... but while I sipped on my beverage, I noticed more folk had their order for take out) They do support local as a few vendors had their products on the shelf for retail sale. They have their own merch.... Nuff said! ps- coffee ok.....

Great coffee, fantastic service, productive ambiance. I always come here when I need to kill 30min to an hr between meetings and they ALWAYS deliver. I hope this place stays around FOREVER

Wow honestly I couldn't recommend this spot enough! The entire menu sounded so intriguing and the flavors sounded so unique. I truly wish I lived closer to this spot! I ordered the seasonal matcha which was so yum! It wasn't too sweet and was so creamy. I also got the jalapeño cream cheese with fruit preserves which was so unique! I never would have thought that would go well together. Staff were super friendly too!! Absolutely coming back!

Adorable coffee spot right outside of downtown Napa. We stopped in before a busy day of wine tasting and they already had a good amount of visitors, but the wait was short. I tried their classic matcha, which was very good without the fancy flavors! They had a variety of other options to choose from. You can tell they are a local favorite!

To those that venture out this way, Napa is more than just some of their amazingly delicious wines. It is also home to some of the top-shelf restaurants, million-dollar views, and surprisingly, quite a few locally owned-and-operated bakeries and coffeeshops. Which takes me to one of Napa's most popular spots, "Naysayer Coffee Roasters". Located in the Food City outdoor strip mall and at the corner of Old Sonoma Rd/Jefferson St in the heart of Napa, this place has been brewing up delicious coffee & tea beverages dating back to mid-2021. I came here with my lady during the morning of Saturday 7/12/2025 at around 11:15am. Parking was readily available as this place also houses a Mexican restaurant, a barbershop, and other various businesses. Upon entry, this place was bustling with customers while the interior layout was relatively small. I would say that it is a little too small to fully enjoy your experience which is why I highly recommend the outdoor patio area that is adjacent to the building. However, you will find some really cool wall art that reads "Greetings From Napa", "Say What You Mean", and a very large easy to read menu displaying their most popular drink options. They also had a physical paper menu that displayed the identical items on the board but also many more drink options, seasonal offerings, and a small (but unique) food menu. Since I didn't try anything here, I was able to sample a few sips of her "Iced Vanilla Latte". Service was quick, efficient, and only took about 3 minutes from paying the cashier to receiving our drink. I also do want to point out that they have generous hours of operation opening daily at 6am during the workweek and at 7am on the weekends. They do close at 3pm every single day. As for the coffee itself, the latte was solid and had the right about of espresso, milk, and syrup. I will say that the service here was amazing even though they were nonstop busy with customers during our visit. You will also find lots of cool merchandise for sale as well as their whole bean coffee that you can take home. Overall, a good pick and arguably a lot better quality than a chain like Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. My rating, an above average four stars.

OG naysayer location. Absolute best coffee in town. Nothing will disappoint. Make sure to stop in and make it your regular spot.

Small coffee shop outside of the Napa downtown area. Thai coffee shop has a great family friendly environment, there were families with small children and pets around all enjoying their morning coffee and breakfast. The Naysayer's staff is super friendly and are happy to answer any questions on the menu and help you choose what you are looking for. Their coffee is delicious and they have a great selection of drinks and seasonal drinks. I had the Cold Old Fashioned (I forgot the exact name, but essentially is a cold brew on nitro made similarly to an old fashioned) and it was delicious! Definitely stop by if you enjoy a good cup of joe!

I was super curious to try the honeydew mint E&T (espresso & tonic) since I've never thought honeydew would be a featured flavoring at a coffee shop and I must say.....verrrrry funky drink taste lol. Not mad at it though. Earthy, fruity, and even slightly tropical taste all at the same time. Didn't notice much of the mint. Overall I dig it and I recommend this seasonal offering only for taste adventurers. :p I also tried the strawberry fields cold brew, which is another seasonal offering. Not much of a distinct strawberry taste (like if strawberries weren't yet ripe). There was a general fruity taste to it though but it seemed to be coming from the brew itself (I do quite like the brew here in general and it's not surprising that I saw someone buy a bag of coffee beans). I'd still recommend it if you're looking for a cold brew. Very friendly staff. Small interior. No problems finding parking when I visited on a Sunday morning.

This small coffee shop was a wonderful find. Their coffee is delicious and they have a nice selection of pastries. I had an iced coffee and an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. I enjoyed both tremendously. The staff were pleasant and my order arrived quickly.

5 stars for me! Service is quick and friendly. Nitro cold brew the hubby got was great. My iced matcha latte with cold foam was awesome.

I hate to give such a low review but I've been twice and both times coffee has been so bad! First time ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was probably the worst coffee I've had which made me really sad. Second time I got a seasonal drink and it was very very poor too. Menu is really small and limited

I love going to my favorite places to find the best matcha. Napa, in particular, is an area I was ecstatic to find my new go-to place. Located about 10-13 minutes away from downtown Napa, Naysayer Coffee is located in a welcoming plaza. There's a pilates studio pretty much next door. Judging from Yelp reviews, I knew this place would be pretty solid. As soon as my boyfriend and I walked in, I knew this is place is exactly my kind of cafe. There's some seating indoors and outdoors. Staff was so sweet and helpful. 10/10. My boyfriend and I ordered the seasonal Strawberry Patch matcha with oat milk (less sweet). The color was a perfect vibrant green and tasted just as good as it looks. You could still taste the astringency of the matcha through the cold foam. Can't wait to come back!

This tiny little coffee shop is a gem. Such friendly helpful staff. I chose the honeydew matcha special and it was absolutely delicious if you're a matcha lover. I'll have to come back and try the strawberry matcha next time

Best coffee and staff in Napa! I have tried every coffee shop in town multiple times. The drinks here are consistently good and I always feel welcomed!

This coffee is not a good fit for me. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. I drove off and a few miles into my trip home took my first sip. Wow - like eating a flower arrangement. Super strong notes of cardamom and lavender. So strong that after my second confirmation sip I never took another one. My wife sipped it and loved it - she said all floral and no coffee. She loved it for all the reasons I didn't. If you like eating your floral arrangements instead of viewing them in a vase on a windowsill, this is the spot for you.

Awesome local coffee shop! Latte was so smooth and delicious. We also tried the miso butter toast. It was just amazing; I would love to eat this every morning. Service was friendly and fast. It's a small shop but run very efficiently. Enjoy! Highly recommend! Will be back next time we're in town.

Recommended by a local! Naysayer can really get a long line on the weekends, so try to go a little early to try their great coffee and pastries! We didn't have much of a wait, I was immediately drawn to this raspberry pastry. I got a cardamom vanilla latte hot, it was soo good, spice forward but not overwhelming. We got this raspberry pastry and almond croissant. Both were very solid, not too sweet. They have great seasonal coffee options, and also non coffee options. They have some seating inside, but if it's busy you gotta take it to go. I was happy with the space, love the plants and design overall. This was a great spot to grab coffee and pastries while visiting Napa.

Naysayer is a joylous, sad little coffee shop in Napa. It's the only seemingly craft coffee spot here but don't be fooled. First off, they only have 12oz Cold Brew. It was just ok. My iced Americano was weak as hell and my mom took one sip of her weak capucino and tossed it in the trash. The espresso they use must be awful. Also, the employees are miserable, are not nice and never look up. I was trying to get more ice, but could not get their attention and felt that if I did, they would be bothered by it. Tell me why anyone likes this place?

The fig toast with sliced almond was smaller than I expected. I would also say the coffee sizes are extremely small for the price. A little too hipster for me.

Great coffee Friendly efficient staff. Drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time. The bagel was delicious and surprising. Normally I order a savory bagel, but this apple and syrup combo was surprisingly refreshing and perfect with a cappuccino. (The Meister $8.5) Small inside seating area for about 15 ppl, a couple of tables outside. Not great for big group unless ordering take away. Not ideal for studying or working. Lots of locals visit but you have your tourist too. Prices reasonable. Overall great small business coffee shop with great coffee.

Small little coffee shop in a strip mall. We got a dirty chai, mocha coffee, honey latte, a macchiato, lemon zest cinnamon roll, and a raspberry croissant. The coffee had a sour after taste that none of us liked, the cinnamon roll and the croissant was very good. Overall the service was good and the e place is cute but I will not be coming back for the coffee.

I was looking for some coffee near our hotel on a recent Napa trip and thought I'd check out this cute local coffee shop. I was not disappointed! I had their Gibraltar (similar to a cortado) with oat milk while my hubby had their strawberry fields cold brew (seasonal offering). Both were made well and the strawberry cold brew was slightly sweet and refreshing w the strawberry cold cream. I also had their everything bagel w jalapeño cream cheese and added avocado, which was exactly what I needed for my tummy after a little too much wine the day before haha. Though there was a line we got our order pretty quickly so they were pretty efficient as well which is always appreciated. Definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

This coffee shop absolutely deserves a proper review because they are the real deal. This may be my new favorite coffee shop in the country because they convincingly delivered on the cortado. It was silky and smooth all the way to the last sip. It was perfection. Their homemade Miso Caramel Syrup is also incredible in a latte. I don't normally enjoy Carmel syrup but this one was delicious. Beyond the coffee, they offer a couple of unique food options that pair well with their drinks, which is always a plus. The seasonal pair mascarpone toast is my favorite! What really seals the deal for me, though, is their merch. They sell mugs with the city's name on them, which is a rarity. As someone who loves collecting city name mugs while traveling, this was the perfect find. Great coffee, unique flavors, and thoughtful details. This place is a must visit! Don't listen to the Naysayers ;)

This is a small coffee shop. Not a lot of places to sit. Really loved the vibe. The employees danced along with the music and really seemed to be enjoying themselves. That's a great energy to be around at the start of the day. I had a matcha latte with coconut milk. It was a little too sweet for my taste. There was a steady stream of customers. The place seems really popular.

Stopped by for a quick snack and coffee. Place was busy with clients so service was a little long but nothing crazy. Drinks came out and everyone enjoyed them all. Cute place to check out if you are near by

Came here to study and grab coffe since my coffee machine is being weird I found this place to be a little alright with me . I didn't want a Starbucks or Peet's coffee I wanted to try something different . The inside is cute but small so I didn't get a chance to hang out inside but there is outdoor seating as well (a little cold so I passed). I ordered a Mocha the lady at the front was super inviting. I like how they also have food , and but just like bagels, they was back there baking Avacado toast n stuff lol I don't really know but they had like a bar table with food in it they appeared to be making orders . They were nice and the coffee was ok maybe it was just the chocolate I didn't care too much for but I'm going to go back to try some other things and ask more question about the coffee itself which I feel like I did but I was in study mode and deprived of coffee so I don't really remember but I'll up date !

For me personally, I'd probably rate it a 3 based on my first experience. I wasn't a fan of the Gibraltar but my avocado toast was tasty. I really liked the pickled veg on it. My brother however, he loves his coffee from here, hence the 4th star. It's a small in and out style shop with fairly quick service.

Good coffee option if you're in the area. I got a latte and it was made well! Nice cause parking was easy in a shared parking lot. It was busy when I got there but drinks were coming out fast.

4/5! Here's why! The staff is ah-may-zing! I've came in here 3x now (first two times they were sold out of matcha) and each and every time I've gotten somebody different and they are all SO SWEET! Customer service is so awesome here and really makes the experience that much better. I've tried their teas which were really good and brewed right then and there - hurray for no yucky tea bags. As for the matcha, high quality stuff! The only downside is they only have one alternative for dairy which is Califia oat milk - first, I have blood sugar regulation issues so Oat milk is a terrible option for that and the Califia oat milk has sunflower oil in it (yucky stuff for humans). Still tried it out just for the one time and it was good, will definitely come back for matcha once they have more dairy alternatives but in the meantime I'll stick to their tea and gf pastries!

I had an amazing experience at Naysayer. The staff is very knowledgeable. I enjoyed a scrumptious chocolate croissant along with a maple pine iced flat white. Special shoutout to Kyra for the amazing service

Loved this spot and definitely would recommend. I tried tulsi syrup for the first time in an iced oat milk latte and it was exactly how the kind person who rang me up described: hint of sweet, of the basil family, nothing like vanilla. I loved it!! My friends and I each enjoyed our espresso drinks and hung out here for a solid hour on a sleepy Sunday. I love the decor and little trinkets/plants inside. There is a WiFi, a clean single private restroom, and a few tables to sit both indoors and outside.

I'm solely going to focus on the coffee. It wasn't good, and I haven't gone back. The cup size is way too small for an iced drink that's mostly filled with ice. If you're going to charge premium prices, offer larger sizes. My iced latte tasted bitter, burnt, and watery as well. It's sad to say, but usually when a small coffee shop has white-painted walls, white granite countertops, and trendy, kitschy decorations, the coffee ends up almost always ends up being incredibly mid and underwhelming. I hate giving bad reviews to small business but please change a few things.

Such a solid coffee shop. You can count on perfect lattes and matcha every time. And their food items - so delicious! My favorite is the chin up bagel. They rotate the fruit served on top to the appropriate season. The staff are a lively bunch which is always so welcoming. You should follow them on instagram, they're hilarious!

Last time I went got a crazy good pour over. I think one of the owner's made it. He was super nice. Great service and the vibes were right.

I gave this three stars because I usually love going here when I am in Napa! I love the Chin Up bagel. I have had it many times on previous trips, but today it was burnt and not edible. Sad! I hope this isn't a trend!

Great coffee. We bought 2 bags of coffee beans that were roasted the previous day!. I'm so glad to find a hidden gem in my hometown. Can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.

i got a latte and it was just fine. I also got the OG bagel and while I wouldve preferred more cream cheese, the quality of the bagel was really really high. firm on the outside, super soft on the inside-- so so good.

Cute interior and fun specials menu. Matcha was delicious and the lemon foam with the cold brew was unique. Quick service but not a lot of room inside to sit.

Our go to for a good coffee fix when in Napa. Coffee is always good. I love trying their seasonal menu. Service is great as well. It does get busy at times and there is no place for seating inside or outside. Regardless, the vibe is always good. Love their merchandise and stickers as well.

21 Dec 2023 I was taking a different route back to Sonoma and noticed a beautiful streamline modern style building that said Food City on the side. It held my attention, and then I saw Naysayer Coffee Roasters and pulled a hard left. This place is on point. It's a bit small with two two-tops and a counter at the window for four, but it's well designed inside to make use of the limited light coming from north-facing windows on even the shortest day of the year. By the numbers: Coffee 5/5 Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Value 4/5 Espresso - Excellent. Medium roast with sparkling water and a bonus Tcho chocolate. Almond croissant - Excellent. Both decadent and reasonably sized in the age of three serving mega-croissants.

This cute little spot is located in the south Napa area, with plenty of parking and a solid menu of options. Service was quick and friendly, and there is some seating inside along with a clean restroom. I grabbed an iced oat milk mocha (my go-to) with a bagel (cream cheese of course!). You can really taste the quality of the espresso even with the chocolate, and they layer on the cream cheese super thick! My friend's iced matcha was SO good- the matcha flavor was just right. The only downfall was that they were out of everything bagels, so I had to get a plain one. I'd definitely come back to try their salads and other baked goods, they sound great!
