Wonderful little museum! The lady who greeted us was so friendly and knowledgeable: the building itself is handsome and the collection was moving and really interesting. An enjoyable stop in Oia to learn more about the local maritime history.

A great little place to visit. It has many different pieces related to the history of the island, especially the nautical past. George was very friendly and helpful with getting us started for the self guided tour. A little respite from the crowded streets. €5 each entry.

Such a beautiful museum. Recently renovated and really interesting. Lots of beautiful paintings and photos as well as lots of historical information. I loved the periscope! We were welcomed by a really friendly and informative member of staff.

A very interesting exhibition of maritime objects and instruments for navigation. Quite didactic and clear. It deserves more than a visit. And for us it was a great pleasure and honour the attention that lend us the person in charge that evening. Without his explanation and interest, the visit to the museum wouldn’t have been the same.

This is a wonderful museum and George was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The collection and curation are incredible, I particularly enjoyed the library room and small room on the way to the WC. There is a video on the top floor projected onto a sail which I thought was a lovely creative touch. The lay out of the museum was easy to follow and takes you on a journey through time.

Such an interesting and fun museum in Oia! The layout was easy to follow and the history is fascinating. Even if you’re not super into maritime history, this museum is a welcome reprieve from the heat and souvenir shops of Oia. Also, super reasonably priced (especially compared to some other experiences on the island). Surely would be kid-friendly as well. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed this museum. Though it's small, it showcases fascinating maritime artifacts from Santorini’s rich history, including many photographs, maps, and items that are several hundred years old. Mr. George, the manager, was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. He guided us through the museum, explaining its history, the people behind its creation, and Santorini's significance as a trade route in the region. We were very pleased with our visit to this museum during our time in Oia.

Stumbled upon this beautiful, nautical museum in Oia. George worked the front desk, very knowledgeable and super friendly. He even gave us “local” recommendations to eat and visit around the island, ευχαριστώ! So many interesting artifacts and stories in here. Very well kept and actually 3 floors of history. A priceless experience.
