Nazaré Hostel

We stayed at this great hostel in Nazaré! It offers very good value for money, has spacious common areas and a fully equipped kitchen, along with several shared bathrooms that include an outdoor shower. There's also a place to store your surfboard or bike. The hostel is located on a quiet street, yet it's close to the center and the beach. Cris, the manager, is incredibly friendly and welcoming! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Well located near the main downtown area, the beach and the historic sites. It was easy to find and despite not having a 24 hour reception, the instructions were clear. I was able to drop my bag off early as well as leave it in a locked storage space before my check out time. The structure of the hostel is quite different from most. There are several small public spaces on each floor with the main one being on the top floor with the kitchen. Rooms are equipped with a towel and individual lockers, however there are only shared bathrooms. The staff are friendly when they were around. Good for a few nights stay in Nazaré!

The Hostel has a great location, 1 minute away from the escalator to the famous lighthouse. It is very clean and offers huge space for cooking & eating to come together. It has an incredible view over the whole village. All of this, for an affordable price? Thank you :)

Loved this hostel. Great area of Nazare with amazing views. Parking is rough if you arrive with a car, but don’t let it deter you. Absolutely recommend.

Has the best view with the best ocean sound in the morning :) My favorite spot is the window by the room on the 1st floor.

There was no flat space in the room (other than the bed or the floor) and no hooks. There was a small area with hangers. It was hard to access and arrange our belongings. Towels and linens were included. The beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were small. There did not seem to be heat in the common areas so it was chilly and damp. Staff (when the were there were helpful and friendly).

I had a wonderful stay! It is really well located. A very good place to meet new people. The manager Cris was very friendly and helpful! It is a beautiful hostel and everything was in order! Free use of surfgear and towels. The kitchen had sharp knifes and good pans. And the hostel has a balcony with an amazing view over the city! And it is only 150m to the beach. Everything is close by!

We made a late reservation which was accepted but at the time of booking it was past the checkin time and they didn't reach out or answer their phone. We had parked and walked a long ways with our suitcases just to wait outside the door for a long time while trying to reach someone. In the end, it turned out for the best as our group of 5 rented an Airbnb from Pedro who also manages the restaurant at Taverna do Navegador which was a true 5* experience.
