If you want a good night's sleep, this is not the place for you, but if you want to socialise, then yes. The rooms are beautiful with an amazing view, and the beds comfortable, as are the common areas, and it's very close to the village and the beach, but the noise is unbearable.
We stayed in a double room near the kitchen/common area, and the whole experience was ruined by the noise, with a shared bathroom right next to the bedroom wall and the kitchen next door with people, coming and going, between 11 p.m. and midnight and between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. The noise spreads throughout the entire hostel.
From 11 p.m. to midnight, there are still people talking and using the kitchen, such as the microwave after midnight. After that, things calmed down a bit, but it didn't last long until 6 a.m. when people started talking really loudly in the common area, even after being asked to be a bit more considerate.
I understand that it is a hostel and that things are flexible, and some people wake-up early to enjoy the day, but there has to be a minimum of respect and sensitivity towards others, or else there should be someone in charge who has some control over this.
