Incredible location. Great local food. Very friendly service. We really enjoyed picking out different dishes at the buffet while the man explained what was in each one. You can also ordered from the menu, you can see the dough of the bread for your sandwich baked in front of you and go right into the beautiful stone oven while the meat grills next to it on an artisanal coal barbecue. Also affordable. Good gem.

If you're looking for a true taste of Turkish tradition, this place is a must-visit! The homemade dishes are incredibly delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that will leave you wanting more. Every meal feels like it’s been prepared with care and love, just like home. The staff very friendly and I travel with a friend and to be honest they all very welcoming.m and of course I love at the end of each dinner they give a colony :) super nice and refreshing for our hands after a great dinner :)!! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with staff that treat you like amazing from the moment you walk in. The iconic traditional décor truly adds to the experience, making you feel like you're right in the heart of Turkey. Whether you're familiar with Turkish cuisine or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend this spot. It’s a gem that shouldn’t be missed!

There were tons of mixed reviews for this place, but we decided to give it a shot anyway since we were in the mood for something that felt more home-cooked. The food was simple, flavorful, and comforting, and we didn’t think the prices were too bad at all. I’m sure they do charge tourists slightly more, as some reviews said, but it’s definitely not outrageous and much less expensive than the restaurants along the water. Here’s what we ordered: Beef plate – 350 ₺ Lamb plate – 350 ₺ Rice – 100 ₺ Veggies with yogurt sauce – 200 ₺ 2 bottles of water – 50 ₺ Total for 2 people: 1050 ₺ It was definitely better than a lot of the spots we tried along the port—more enjoyable and less expensive. The service was lovely, and everyone was super kind and welcoming. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for something low-key and tasty.

Absolutely fabulous tradesmen restaurant (esnaf lokantasi). Delicious köfte casserole, but the kuzu lokum (lamb delight) was the absolute winner. This is the place to taste the real Turkish cuisine.

Good vegetarian options and child friendly. A great range of traditional dishes to suit every pallet. They take great pride in the sourcing and quality of their food and ingredients. My wife ordered the iskender kebab it was incredible the best one she has ever had she said. The prices are also very reasonable.

Very local cuisine. You choose the curries you want with rice or they provide a serving of bread. The cauliflower curry was so good. The meatball dish was good too. With rice and a soft drink came up to 295 lira for a one person portion. Even the locals come here to eat so you know it’s good.

Such an amazing place to eat. This is currently my partner and I’s favourite place to grab lunch. The portions are huge and the food is so affordable. The staff is really lovely and it’s perfect if you want an authentic experience in Bodrum!
