There were tons of mixed reviews for this place, but we decided to give it a shot anyway since we were in the mood for something that felt more home-cooked. The food was simple, flavorful, and comforting, and we didn’t think the prices were too bad at all. I’m sure they do charge tourists slightly more, as some reviews said, but it’s definitely not outrageous and much less expensive than the restaurants along the water.
Here’s what we ordered:
Beef plate – 350 ₺
Lamb plate – 350 ₺
Rice – 100 ₺
Veggies with yogurt sauce – 200 ₺
2 bottles of water – 50 ₺
Total for 2 people: 1050 ₺
It was definitely better than a lot of the spots we tried along the port—more enjoyable and less expensive. The service was lovely, and everyone was super kind and welcoming. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for something low-key and tasty.
