"Cultural centres can be hit or miss, but Ndere is a dazzling exception. Here, Uganda’s most famous dance troupe performs every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday in an open-air village-style atrium fringed with straw-roof huts. The shows are a spectacle of energetic drumming, movement, ululating, and shrieking, with dancers clad in colorful costumes pouring out of the traditional buildings to perform dozens of traditional songs and dances over three hours. The evenings are brought to life by Stephen Rwangyezi, the troupe's founder, who brings out the best in the crowd with trademark dry Ugandan wit." - Scott Campbell

Located within Kampala city. The architecture especially around the main restaurant is top class with African concept. The service team were friendly dressed in that African attire. The parking is wide enough. The nature(big trees) around makes the environment cool. They have enough space to host different functions at the same time.

We absolutely love it, had an amazing time at this centre — the dances of Uganda were incredible full of energy, and the people were so warm and welcoming! We chose this place based on a local recommendation, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was joyful, and the venue itself is beautifully designed. There’s a buffet with food and drinks available for purchase. The event ran from 7 to 10 pm, and we genuinely enjoyed every moment — not a single dull second. It was an unexpectedly delightful experience in the heart of Kampala. We’d definitely visit again and highly recommend it for a fun and memorable evening with your loved ones.

Top top Notch. Get immersed in some of what is Ugandan Culture; Food, Traditional Dances, Folk Song, Poetry and a great MC. Ofcourse, the Gishu Imbalu Dance wasn't showcased which was quite a disappointment.

This was an incredible evening. The venue is gorgeous especially as the sun was setting and the lighting came up. The performances were amazing, the energy, history and the whole vibe was amazing. The intervals for food were amazing and it didn't feel like a pause in the show as they still played music and just getting to have more delicious authentic food just added to the experience. Well worth a visit!
