A bit disappointed with our visit we had expected more after reading the reviews. With just one table taken when we arrived at 8pm it still took a while before we were given a menu. Hand written with a small choice, just what we like. Also the food took longer to come than in the other restaurants we visited during our month in mainland Greece,again this is our preference. However the food was overall disappointing. Grilled mushrooms and herbs: just four medium mushrooms, not good value for money, although the flavour was good. A sausage and egg dish was four fried eggs on a dish with thin slices of overcooked sausage around the edge. Meatballs were OK but the serving of chips in a tiny frying basket seemed overly pretentious and not in keeping with somewhere purporting to be an authentic Greek restaurant. With a litre of wine, water and bread, the bill came to 45.50 euros. Two more tables were filled but both were tourists.

Lonely Planet led us here and not gonna lie, we were a bit confused at first. For some reason, we were the only people in the restaurant the entire time. The menu is handwritten on paper and the place is decorated in an old style. But the reviews suggested otherwise, so we stayed. And, no regrets. It was delicious. Some of the best octopus I’ve had. Husband had the meatballs and enjoyed those too. The waiter said the menu changes so depending on when you go, you may have different options. In traditional Greek style, they serve dessert for free. I’m not sure what it was, but it tasted good!

For us is simply the best restaurant in Thessaloniki, even in the whole Greece. For the recent trip we spent one week in Thessaloniki and we have been here for dinner twice. All the dishes have exceeded our expectations. The top one dish is the shrimps with oatmeal, it was so delicious. We have been here in 2016 once, I am looking forward to come here and dine here in the future.

Without thinking one one of the best meal in Greece. High quality ingredients meet with master hands to perfection for a soul Greek orianted dishes in Selanik with daliy chaning menu. Definetly must visit place for food lovers.

The hand written menu is well thumbed. The choice limited but at the same time difficult as everything is tempting. The salad with mandarin sauce is outstanding. Tomahawk pork steak moist and succulent. We had an excellent meal

Our first day in Thessaloniki. We arrived late and were still very hungry. We ended up here by accident and what can I say. It was delicious! Greek cuisine reinterpreted at a high level. And the staff is super nice and know their food on the menu well. An insider tip!

Great food and nice traditional music played in the restaurant. A more than full meal at very reasonable prices. Strongly recommend!

If you are going to visit this place - it will be beautiful time. Meal is really very tasty! And all portions are really “kings size”. We try mackerel, veal ribs, pasta! Everything was excellent! Atmosphere is very authentic, there are many Greeks here.
