Neat

This spot turned out to be a really chill place to hang out with friends. The atmosphere was relaxed yet lively, making it a great choice for casual get-togethers or even just unwinding after a long week. The interior design immediately caught my attention, it’s creative and thoughtfully done, with a mix of cozy seating and interesting décor elements that give it a trendy yet comfortable vibe. We ordered a few craft beers from their menu, which had a good variety of options, and they paired nicely with the appetizers we chose. The arancini were perfectly crispy on the outside with a creamy, flavorful filling, while the crispy shrimp were light, crunchy, and seasoned just right. The truffle fries were also a highlight, rich, aromatic, and served in a generous portion. What really stood out were the marinara and pesto dips, which tasted incredibly fresh and balanced, complementing every bite. I also noticed they serve firewood pizza, and it looked amazing coming out of the oven, definitely something I’d want to try on my next visit. Overall, the food and vibes were great, and even though the prices were on the higher side, the quality made it worth it. I’d definitely consider coming back again.

Cameron was a friendly and helpful server! I had the Strawberry Feta Salad with Crispy Shrimp and a glass of Ginger Beer. Cam suggested to add a side of the Boom Boom Sauce which really made the shrimp pop! Salad was fresh and delicious. A great break from a day of Christmas shopping. (it was a little chilly inside, people had coats on, granted it’s snowing out…)

Tori was a phenomenal waitress. The pork chop was great, the fries were excellent. Drinks are top tier. Huge booths and outdoor seating with a view or the little pond. Great place for an outdoor drink.

I’ve been here so many times and it NEVER disappoints!! The service is impeccable- Cassidy was our waitress this time and she was AMAZING!! I recommended any of their pizzas or wraps.

Order the wood-fired wings, which were really good. Much better than the sad Anchor Bar wings. Also ordered a Manhattan which was good, and not tiny like most chincy places. The layout and atmosphere is really cool.

This place appears New since it’s so clean and no sign of worn/broken items. We visited twice!! A lot of very attractive female staff. 1st Visit, I had the Chicken Parm and it was very nice. Cesar salad was very nice. So good we wanted to come back to try the pizza! Our waiter was expedient with providing service and they were crowded. 2nd Visit, I pushed my luck. Had the Balsamic pizza with Arugula. It had too much of the arugula and not enough balsamic. Kinda dry and the crust not so appealing. Not as crowded as the first night and our waitress was slow providing service. I saw her waiting on our area, the opposite end of restaurant and even outside. The 2nd visit was a letdown and not worthy of a tip!

Neat has amazing wood-fired pizza, we had the steak one and can definitely recommend. Great sauce on it too. The pizzas at this restaurant are NOT authentic Italian, but rather American style.

The food was great. The Brussel sprout app was amazing. The Ahi tuna was just as good. Parmesan wings hit the spot. Servers are trying hard, but are not knowledgeable about vip program and some menu questions. All in all, it was a great lunch. I will be back.

Place is awesome. Great location with ample parking (goes a long way to someone from NYC)... quickly swayed. Nice ambience. Good menu! We didn't like the Brussel Sprouts appetizer, but ONLY because our vegetarian daughter ordered them without the bacon. Don't do that! The wings were very good, shrimp and shrimp tacos very good, the spinach dip was delicious and their fries are the best. Fast, fast service and a really sweet and adorable waitress. If I lived here I'd be here all the time.

The food is actually pretty good, however the prices do feel elevated compared to other restaurants in the area. My go-to here is definitely the steakhouse burger. The meat used is definitely higher quality, and it shows. It's very juicy / cooked perfectly. The kiddos are a big fan of the noodles. And of course, a wide selection of Bourbon / Whiskey is available, as expected.

Hip environment and flavorful small and large plates. We ordered a variety of apps - bourbon and marinara meatballs, spinach artichoke dip, stuffed hot peppers, and Buffalo cauliflower. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. For entrees, most of the party ordered the Chicken Milanese which was HUGE and well-loved. My friend had the pork chop, which came with a large helping of crispy Brussels sprouts that were "so good." I went with the Ahi Tuna app and a side salad. Both plates were very colorful and fresh. Overall, the food was an absolute hit! There were just some misses... Our waitress kept forgetting drinks and silverware and check-backs were far and few between. There was a swarm of five flies at our booth that kept landing on us, our seats, and food. The table was extremely sticky - every time we went to grab our drinks, we had to use two hands and slide it off to the edge. If you like delicious eats, check them out.

Finally came back to Neat and it was so good! I loved the dim, warm lighting. I had the wood fire steak pizza and it was AMAZING! I even wandered to the kitchen in the middle of the night and took a bite of a left over slice! The next day I ate my leftovers cold - that's how good it was!

Outstanding restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing. A massive bourbon selection. The French onion soup is likely the best I have ever had. The meatballs with the bourbon glaze and garlic mash is great. My wife loves her pesto pizza. They also have a nice patio area to relax at. TVs in the bar area with high tops to watch games

Everything about this place is 5 stars on our first visit. Came at 530 and were seated immediately. Food came promptly and was delicious. Excellent bourbon cocktails and very reasonably priced! ($12-13) which is about the best you'll see in the area. Outdoor seating a plus, with a great bar inside. The Italian lemon cake was unbelievable, I'd be back just for that alone. Pizzas all sounded very good. Will definitely be back

I was out running errands and hit up Neat. Knowing that I wanted to go there I made a last minute reservation. Glad I did this place gets booked. The restaurant has a good vibe bar on the first floor with seating and seating upstairs. I would say it' is upscale casual. Our waitress was great and attentive. We started off with a seasonal drink called Tis the season Old Fashioned. It was pretty good probably one of the better ones around. We started off with wings and meatballs. I would say the Garlic Parmesan wings were better than the Bourbon BBQ. They weren't as smokey as I was expecting being they are cooked in a wood fired oven. The meatballs were a little dry to be honest. Finishing up with the pizza and the salad. I am not sure I would make a special trip to visit Neat again but I think if I was in the area I would stop in.

French onion soup 7/10 Great amount of cheese. I wish the onions were a little softer, some of them were just hard like the peel. Broth flavor was okay. Neat balls 10/10 Traditional marinara ricotta pesto Such a juicy and soft meatball. Cooked to perfection. The combo of the marinara and pesto was good too.

Not sure what is going on at this restaurant, but I will not be back anytime soon!! How can you call your restaurant a whiskey bar/ restaurant and you don't have any bourbon?! I asked our server for 5 different bourbons and the server said that they didn't have any of them. One of those was Buffalo Trace. The waitress said that the new bar manager was revamping the bar menu. So disappointed with this place. It was never like this before. The only reason why I gave them one star is because the food was good and you have to give a star to review.

First time here and arrived in time for happy hour. They offered specials of apps, pizza and wine which was great. Plenty of open seating at the bar. We had the hot pepper arancini, neatballs and ricotta pesto pizza. All delicious. Good service. Place got super busy as we were leaving. Would def go again!

Was travelling to Buffalo for Thanksgiving. Wanted to stop by for a quick bite and decided to check this out. Just ordered a couple of appetizers and pizza. The chicken wings were decent, but what I like the most was the fried shrimp, was very tender on the inside and had a perfect crunch on the outside. We ordered the stuffed pepper pizza, if you like a cheesy pizza with peppers. This is definitely a must try, the amount of cheese and the way it was cooked was perfect. Has a lot of seating options, they seem to have outdoor seating as well, just not in the winter. Nice ambience, kinda modern rustic I would say.

The food is very delicious. My wife and I had the wood fire pizzas. One was the spice sausage with honey and the other was the stuffed pepper pizza. Both very good but my favorite was the spicy sausage and honey. Service was quick and timely. Ashley was our server and she was phenomenal. The ambiance was happy and sound during the lunch hour. To drink I had an EH Taylor Barrel Proof single ounce neat. Ask for Ashley she is awesome!!

Good food, lovely wait staff. Visiting from Colorado, had the wings, truffle fries, Brussels sprouts and the asparagus. I didn't love the asparagus, but that's on me. I'm not a fan of smoke flavored veggies. Everything was fantastic otherwise. They were even willing to put the Bronco game on for me. But only because the Bills weren't playing!!! Highly recommend!!!

Solid 4 stars for this stylish and tasty stop in New York! My dad and I visited Neat on our road trip, and overall it was a great experience. The ambiance was relaxed and modern, and our server was super sweet and attentive. We ordered a burger and a large house salad with grilled chicken. The burger came out well-done even though we asked for medium, but thankfully the flavor still held up. The salad was fresh and light--but at $26 total ($19 for the salad + $7 for the chicken), it felt a little steep for a plate of greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions. That said, the food came out quickly, the service was great, and the brussels sprouts were a standout. I'm giving 4 stars because of the salad pricing, but I'd still recommend Neat if you're in the area and looking for a nice meal with good vibes!

My pizza was burnt all around the edges into about a half inch of the crust - the gluten free pizza. The chicken was dry - good thing the pizza had enough bbq sauce to make it somewhat edible. The Brussel sprouts that came as a side were overcooked and not very tasty. The ambience? - way too loud and Dark! And the women's bathroom was down to one stall and dirty. Not good. Was our first time here and will be our last. Was celebrating my husband's 50th birthday - the wait person knew and said happy birthday and that was it. And she was inattentive - we had to literally find her to give her the tip -insane. I don't usually give such a low star rating but the two stars are generous considering our experience.

Neat has always been our go-to spot in our friend group. We go maybe once a month, and we've always had great service. The food is excellent, and I'm a fan of the Buffalo chopped salad. If you like something a bit spicier, that salad is a must-try. I was a bit disappointed with the Banana Pepper dip, but I recently tried the Spinach Artichoke dip, and it was AMAZING--definitely worth trying! The only reason I couldn't give a 5-star rating is because I'm really upset about the Neat board being removed. The Fig on it had become one of my favorite items on a charcuterie board. If they brought that back, I'd happily change my rating to a 5!

Nice space -clean. That's where it ends. From the spacey waitress to the terrible food, NEAT is a miss. I asked if it is a chain, because the food has no taste. Large portions, served hot etc. but tasteless. No salt/pepper on the table. The French Onion soup LOOKS beautiful. No taste. Copious amounts of cheese. Pizza was soggy and tasteless. Burrata salad- SAME. For the cost of this meal, well, I should have cooked at home.

Few days back I was at Neat. I had the wood fried steak sandwich with fries. It was good, but I was not wowed by it. My one friend had the chopped salad and found it satisfying as she was trying to go light. My other friend had a taco dish which she really enjoyed. The booth we sat in at the front of the restaurant was comfortable. Yet the lighting was poor. It got rather dark as the sun set. I felt our waitress was running between many tables. She seemed frantic. We saw her about three times. I'd like to return to this East Amherst restaurant again to try other items on the menu.

We went out to celebrate a friend's birthday, and Will, our server, really made our experience lovely. Will was very kind and thoughtful--he did a great job throughout the night and helped us have a fun celebration! My food was tasty. Our group was pleased to be seated upstairs, it felt roomier.

We found this place on the way to the airport in Buffalo. Man was this a good find! Staff is exceptional. The restaurant had the garage doors open so there was a nice breeze coming in. Look for their drink specials. We were fond of their mojito and sangria. Neatballs are amazing! If you order the Brussels sprouts come with an army of people to help you finish them. Fun stop

Amazing food , great variety. Very noisy, not particularly handicapped friendly . Fun, casual and welcoming.

Stopped in for a quick bite. If eating a in super loud place is your thing, this is your kind of place. I just got something small and didn't plan on staying long. The waitress was nice although she must've been having a a bad day. Food with a little pricy for what it is but again, if that's your thing, this is your kind of place.

Usually I love stopping in here but the experience today wasn't up to my previous expectations. The waitress was very friendly but wasn't super attentive. They were out of dough at around 1pm when we were in there and had to substitute it for cauliflower crust (not terrible but again not what you expect) Mind you one of their specials was a pizza dish. The saving grace was my drink which was a very good margarita and their NEAT Meatballs are always a good time. Unfortunately though my boyfriend's mule had flat ginger beer in it. Overall it was a mediocre lunch for a high end price.

Always seem to get a good value for the meal. Except for my last visit the service has been outstanding. The waitress this last time was either overworked or could not care less. Hard to tell. The food is very good.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and I'm really happy about my experience here. The servers were very friendly & the atmosphere of the restaurant was very trendy and hip. Moreover, the drinks here are very good and they are priced average. I got the chopped salad And my husband got the chicken Milanese. I really enjoyed my salad. It was crunchy and everything was very finely chopped, so it was very enjoyable to eat. The chicken Milanese was very good. It was crunchy and the chicken they used was very high quality. Overall, I am very happy with this place and I will be coming back to try more things on the menu.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch this past Saturday for we have been wanting to try this place since they opened. Wow, so glad we did. The service was fast, the food was absolutely delicious and sitting in the patio provided that perfect back drop to enjoy our lunch. Thank you to the team at Neat, we will definitely be back.

Had a great Manhattan, Neat Burger and a Caesar salad. All were wonderful! Our server was named Will and he was one of the best servers we have had in quite a long time. He was friendly, attentive and informative. We will be back for sure!

Pretty bland all around. Stuffed pepper appetizer needed salt. The french onion soup had a strange sour taste and the onions used were just sautéed not caramelized. The burrata salad was good but nothing special. The Bourbon chicken pizza was redeeming. The interior was VERY cold and it is only 45 put.

Had an excellent celebration dinner Saturday night! The food was excellent as always I love the boom boom shrimp and the spinach artichoke dip is some of the best I ever had, my friend said the ahi tuna was amazing as well! HUGE shout out to my server Tori! She made my celebration even more special, always amazing friendly service she's actually the reason Neat became my favorite restaurant she was my server the first time I went there a couple years ago and she made me feel so welcomed and at home it made Neat my number one place to go for dinner celebrations. You can find great food alot of places but quality service that just make the evening more special is truly what makes a place great. Thank you Tori and thank you Neat

I went in last night and sat at the bar to grab dinner. I sat at the bar for a good 3 or 4 minutes with a bar tender standing in front of me motionless and silent. I actually just sat there for a bit to see if he would finally react and take my order ....Nope, not a chance! Finally, I had to holler to him.... He took my order for a drink an order of soup and some wings. The soup came out and I got my drink ..... Eventually, after a long wait, I saw a person come out from the kitchen with an order of wings walking from one end of the bar, by me, to the other looking lost. They got to the end of the bar -- spoke to another bar tender who -- looked at the order -- talked to him, and sent him back to the kitchen. W/O saying anything to me -- after some more extended time -- I asked. That was my order but it was wrong. NOT ONE WORD TO ME TO UPDATE!!! C'mon you guys !!!! you have great food and cocktails but you service remains a joke!!! Not the 1st time I have had this experience with them!

Neat is one of our favorite restaurants. It has one of the best patios in the area in my opinion! The service is top notch and the food is always great! Last night I didn't want anything too big so I got their stuffed peppers and a side of mashed potatoes while my fiance got the salmon. Everything was awesome. I love the vibe here, it's always fun and the cocktails are great too!

Picture NEAT, as the adult version of Fridays (restaurant). Just like Dave and Busters, is the adult version of Chucky Cheese. The decor is very mature and comfortable, with the right amount of dimness from the lights. The bar area is amazing, and seating is plentiful. There is a upstairs dining area, but I prefer sitting in the booth area located on the first floor. The drink menu is extensive, and every drink looks amazing. As for the food, the portion sizes do not disappoint. Charcuterie board- Delicious and quite filling Steak sandwich- (comes with side of fries) Was huge and quite tasty. I would've like mayo, lettuce, and sliced tomato as an option for this. But the aioli that they used, as a spread was ok. Three chord old fashioned- OMG... when I find a better word to say, I'll update this review.

Cam was amazing she was so sweet we waited for a few mins to long but she made up for it , the food was delicious. cam was again such a sweetheart i'll definitely be coming back :)

I've been here countless times - some for lunch and some for happy hour with work. Almost never have a bad thing to say! The seasonal cocktails are always a great option. And they change/add some options to the menu but we usually always get the brussel sprouts to start, beet and goat cheese salad next, and end up splitting the spicy sausage and honey pizza. Always delicious. We've tried a few of the other pizzas which are good but the sausage and honey pizza is hands down the best. Has a little kick to it and bursting with flavors that pair so well together. It's not traditional thick and saucy 'Buffalo' pizza, so it's a nice change up! During summer the patio is a great option to sit outside with a nice view of the pond/fountain. Great option for literally anything - lunch, dinner, drinks!

First impressions when walking in the door are clean, cool, and high class yet casual. Every visit has been a decent dining experience. The staff is courteous and helpful. The menu has a well-rounded selection of items. I strongly suggest trying the Buffalo Chicken Chopped Salad; however, I found that the overall success of the menu items varied for me. The wings are cooked in the wood fired oven making them a healthy choice over fried wings. The pizza is decent, nothing to write home about. A very good place for drinks and socializing in a casually sophisticated atmosphere. Suggested for its extensive whiskey selection and outdoor patio.

Eh, this is a hard review. Service was top notch. Both bar tenders were attentive, helpful, and beyond and above. I asked how the merlot was and if the bottle had been opened for several days. ( I'm not an ass hat. I've drank a lot of vinegar wines bc I wanted to be nice and accommodating as a guest..but the more expensive dining gets, I just can't drink old vinegar for $15). Anyway, he was so chill about it and didn't even hesitate to open me a new bottle, which I did not expect, nor ask for. He just did it. And again, I was not hinting or a jerk. He just was smart about wine. Whiskey drinks were, as advertised, fabulous. Real cherries, swoon. Food was meh. But, and I can't fault the restraunt, but the customer base was bro-ey at best. At best. We were waiting on other people who were late, so we went through two rounds of bros. It wasn't just a bad, single set. One guy sitting next to me (I couldn't help but overhear his loud and proud conversation) talked about how his wife was 'a good wife but doesn't know how to clean'. Again, not NEATs fault but it felt like that's who they cater to. Here's hoping I'm totally wrong. But not a place I will frequent

One of my favorite restaurants!!! Their cocktails are incredible, especially the adios pantalones (strawberry margarita). Yes, they are pricey but flavors are top notch and there are so many different options! I've tried several items on their menu. The pizza is delicious and a good size for two to split. The burgers are so good, but the real MVP?!? THOSE BRUSSEL SPROUTS!! Seriously, I LOVE them. I prefer them without bacon but you can get them either way. I love that you can choose them as your side instead of French fries for no additional charge. The inside decor is beautiful, the staff is so friendly, and if you are looking for a place to hold a small party, they do rent the upstairs for events.

Meh. How is it possible there's a wait for this place? Such average food. I had an uninspiring Caesar salad. If you want a good salad go 3 doors down to CoreLife.

This place used to be great but has gone downhill. Now Dirty tables not wiped, nauseating disgusting smell like a dumpster. So unfortunate wouldn't even want to get a drink here now with that smell. Won't be back

I've been here more than once and will return. They have so many Bourbons, omg, bourbon flights. Pizza, burgers, tacos, oh the "neat" balls in marinara and pesto, so much To eat and love. Service is beyond the norm, smile, attention, and focus. The ambiance follows suit, outside/ inside, all nicely done and fresh decor. Pizza is not really Italian but more contemporary semolina, still wonderful. Meatballs were memorable. Fish tacos same. Price point a bit higher than some similar places in the area but I feel worth the consistency, freshness, and quality.

Drove 15 min from Tonawanda to be told patio is closed. Hmm... said patio season starts tomorrow 5 days ago. And business gone.

Neat is perfect for a girls night out. It has big comfy booths, a nice water feature to cap a summer night, and literally the best shaved Brussel sprouts I've ever had in my life. I dream about the balsamic glaze and carmalized bits that fall from the platter to my plate each time I dine here.

We got the stuffed avocado and the stuffed banana peppers and they were excellent! Our waitress was really sweet and accommodating.

We went here around Christmas time and it was quite busy. Luckily we had a reservation. The bar was full of people having fun. We ordered a hamburger to share which was good. We also ordered the burrata appetizer which was good, not great, I felt like it needed more variety. We ordered a side of asparagus and literally got seven pieces of crappy asparagus for $7. I bit my tongue not to say something about it. I was really disappointed about that, it almost felt like a joke it was so pathetic. Service was good. It is in a plaza next to Yankee candle store.

N|EAT is awesome! Great place for a work lunch or date. Discovered a new bourbon there that is now my favorite. The staff are always friendly. Service is quick. Best of all the plates come out 'neat' and orderly so you don't risk wearing your meal.

Food is fantastic, our server Lauren was outstanding. She is very caring of her customers. Highly recommend the restaurant and ask for Lauren to be your waitress.
