Nebesa Chalets (Kobarid, Slovenia) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Perched nearly 1,000 meters above the Soča Valley, Nebesa is a quartet of pared-back chalets designed for two. The views stretch from the Julian Alps to the Adriatic, with clouds often sitting below eye level. Built on the site of a former ski hut, the retreat is fully solar-powered and designed to disappear into the hillside. There is no restaurant, but there is wine, a sauna, and a deep quiet that settles in fast. It is the kind of place people come to pause, reset, and stay off the radar a little longer." - Tablet Hotels

Chalet Nebesa truly lived up to its name. We spent wonderful days in peace and quiet, surrounded by nature, with the feeling that everything slowed down in the best possible way. The chalet is exceptionally cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated — you can tell real care was put into the details and into making guests feel at home. We especially loved the blend of comfort and privacy: enough amenities to fully relax, and enough tranquility to truly rest. Everything was tidy, functional, and exactly as described, and communication with the hosts was fast, kind, and unobtrusive. If you’re looking for a place for a real reset, a romantic getaway, or quality time with friends — Chalet Nebesa is a perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back.

Name of the place nails it. Zen place. No noise, no sound polution,no disturbances.Accomodation is 5 stars, service is a kind of self service but not exactly, you order which service you want so again 5 stars or deluxe service, food is in association with multiple michelin stars awarded hisa franko, and a few other local boutique food houses, such as jelenov breg...would give 6 stars if possible.Day view is amazing, night sky is unbeliveable. An incredible experience. A must for every traveler through the region.

The Nebesa chalets are a magical place worth visiting. They are off the beaten path, and that is the point. If you are willing to make the trip to this majestic mountaintop, you won't regret it.|The property itself is well maintained and offers all the modern amenities you could want. The owners are welcoming and helpful, and truly make you feel at home during your stay. So much is available here from saunas, to fitness rooms, to a wine cellar, but none of them can match the individual chalets which are fantastic.|As great as all of these things are, the views are what made our stay here so memorable. It is the sort of special thing you will not find unless you take the time to get to a unique place like this. |Lastly, I have to add that there are so many things nearby to see and do. It is a beautiful are a to visit and we would recommend Nebesa to anyone looking for a special and memorable trip.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The owners were friendly and hospitable. It’s not your typical luxury stay as it is a bit rustic, but the set-up is well suited for the environment. Don’t miss the opportunity for this unforgettable experience.

Absolutely amazing experience! We were excited about nearly everything. I doubt I can add much more than all the other people here, but in short: 1️⃣ The view is breathtaking — it's everywhere: in the breakfast room, in your house, and even from the bed, you can admire the gorgeous mountains. 2️⃣ The FOOD. You know, this is what truly separates the good resorts from the rest. It doesn’t matter if the menu is huge—nope. The key is quality, and here you get the purest local organic food possible. Breakfast was humble but luxurious. You’ll find sweet pastries (2–3 kinds, homemade and absolutely fantastic), local eggs (so you can cook them however you like), fresh warm bread, cheeses, fruit, and vegetables. Truly a gourmet experience! And let’s not forget the wine cellar — an authentic experience, slicing prosciutto right off the leg? Yes, please! Delicious cheeses, salami, wines, and even a digestive liqueur to finish off the tasting. 3️⃣ Wellness center — the cherry on top. As I mentioned, the mountain view is incredible. The spa has a beautiful, spacious room with two large saunas (and a smaller third one in the corridor), offering the chance to enjoy the view right from the sauna or the relaxation zone. Absolutely stunning! In the end, I have to say — everyone was incredibly helpful, kind, and eager to assist with any issue. If I were to suggest improvements, maybe just two things: - The internet connection, especially in the house, was pretty weak, so we spent most of our stay offline. No big deal — it’s the mountains, after all. - The heater was a mystery. We couldn’t figure out how to use it. Thankfully, we had extra blankets and stayed warm, but I’m sure there’s some trick to heating the house that we missed 😄

The view from the chalets is breathtaking, and I genuinely wish I could have spent more time at Nebesa itself. The furniture is simple but in an understated luxury way, and the owners considered so many thoughtful details in the design and amenities. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else on a return trip to Slovenia.

I felt like home! Incredible kind owners, all very easy going and uncomplicated, nice sauna area and the best view ever. We rented e-bikes for a nice tour around the top of the mountain. I had to work two day from there and there coild not have been a better place for that. WiFi was strong, we had breakfast in our little house and aperitif on the terrace. In the afternoon break I went to the sauna. Thank you for the unforgettable stay!!

Samo & Maja (and Ash!) have captured a slice of heaven with Nebesa. They are such accommodating hosts in the most beautiful spot in the world, the views of the Soca Valley from the chalet are beyond words. The environment they have created is intimate, cozy, and so romantic. The rooms are perfect for staying and relaxing, but why would you when there is so much activity to do in the surrounds! Only a 15 minute drive from the next town, there's always something near by to do. We are so grateful we got to experience such a gorgeous part of the world to wrap up our honeymoon, and we can't wait to come back.
