Nefertiti Hotel Luxor

Nefertiti exceeded all our expectations! The hotel is run by professionals, with friendly and accommodating staff who kept the aggressive street vendors away. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooftop restaurant offered stunning views of Luxor Temple and the West Bank. Dinner was also fantastic, with food available throughout the day. The rooms are small and simple but clean and comfortable—perfect for two people. The staff were exceptional, and the tour desk in the lobby made organizing excursions easy. This hotel is a safe haven in the chaos of Luxor, offering peace, great food, and amazing views.

Fabulous hotel, must be the best location in Luxor, with the rooftop terrace restaurant overlooking the Nile and Luxor temple. Situated in the bazaar so ideal for shopping and sightseeing. The staff are lovely, from reception to the restaurant and room service nothing is too much trouble and you are greeted with a smile every time. The restaurant must be one of the best in Luxor, we only stayed for a couple of days but the breakfast, served on the rooftop terrace was the best we had in Egypt and the food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing, open from early morning to late at night. I recommend if you are going to visit Luxor then stay here, you won't be disappointed.

Stayed here for four nights in December of 2024 and had mostly a great experience. Great location within a short walk of Luxor Temple and the Luxor Museum. There's also a big bazaar right behind the hotel. Management and staff were super friendly and accommodating and kept the aggressive street vendors away. Rooftop restaurant is beautiful and with great views of Luxor Temple and the included breakfast was great. Room was small but well-maintained and comfortable considering the price range. Ideal for a solo traveler like myself. WiFi worked very well. Only issue I had was water would leak out of my shower room into the main living space. It wasn't a huge problem, but it did mean the floors in my room were often a bit wet.

This is a very basic hotel, which to be fair is reflected in the price, but the rooftop views and the standard of service from the friendly and attentive staff is top class. The rooms are small, and our balcony was tiny with just 1 seat, and the toilet/shower room urgently needs upgraded, as do the beds which were not the comfiest. But, as stated, it is very inexpensive and the rooftop restaurant offers outstanding views and excellent food and beverages, all served by wonderful staff who are willing to help all they can. Overall, would definitely stay here again, hopefully after a spruce up.

Very good place to stay. Rooms are clean and have everything you need, staff is so kind and friendly. Restaurant on the rooftop is a bit expensive but food is tasty and good. BEWARE THE TAXI DRIVERS OUTSIDE. If you negotiate a price make sure to state the place exact of delivery: if you bargain considerably they will accept the price but leave you to walk a bit.

If you want to sleep in this hotel, you might as well play Russian Roulette. My partner and I have just stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The only positive thing is the restaurant with a terrace. But we never thought we would spend 3 nights so HORRIBLE. Let me explain: they placed us in a room on the top floor, tiny, with only the bed, a bedside table and a wardrobe with a mini-bar, not even room for a small table to put our suitcases etc., the bathroom was just a sink and toilet. By shower, they mean a shower placed above the toilet (that's right, you shower above the toilet). But that's the least of it! When we went to bed, we immediately heard a constant bell-like noise every minute all night, so I asked the reception what it was, they told me that we had to GET USED TO IT, because it was the elevator to take objects to the rooftop and it couldn't be turned off (I wonder if that was true because I don't think it works constantly all night every minute). We couldn't sleep and in the morning at 7 they started hammering and renovating the room next to ours! In all this I wonder how it is possible to work like this and put rooms next to a perpetual noise made all night! Terrible laundry service, in addition to being expensive they discolored our clothes and ruined the white clothes.

Well known east bank hotel, great value that puts you at Luxor temple for night ambiance from roof, and good restaurant with Nile and temple views. If you’re on the West Bank, it offers an escape from the intense tourism hustle on the streets and alleys. Great service, great breakfast.

Great value hotel, with a good location overlooking the luxor temple on the east bank. the rooftop restaurant has a great view and the food was wondrful. we ate their every night for our 4 night stay. |Magic carpet tours is based in the hotel and they orgnaised tours and drivers for us. great service and well priced compared to other quotes we recieved.
